The location is absolutely perfect for any event you might have, weddings, birthdays, anniversary's, literally anything. There is only one issue that I have with the nest. Wow!! What a transformation!! I haven't seen this building since it was Jonathan Byrd's restaurant…read more The exterior is now black and white which is very classic and understated. The Nest Event Center is located in Greenwood just off I-65 at Main Street. The parking lot is quite large and will accommodate a large event. The interior is amazing and you'd never know it was a former restaurant. The lobby area is very attractive, decorated in beiges and cream, and I could see using this for cocktails, a reception line plus so much more. It worked well tonight for purchasing tickets plus an area to sit and relax while enjoying the fireplace. The versatile ballroom is quite large and can handle everything from a wedding, conference to special events. One of those special events is the Holiday Craft Show tonight. The Event Center has a neutral color scheme and can accomadate most bridal or conference color schemes. This proved to be true with all the colors associated with the Holiday Craft Show. Tonight all different color schemes were used and all the crafts looked wonderful. With this neutral backdrop any decor theme would work nicely allowing brides or companies a great deal of flexibility and creativity. The Holiday Craft Show was a huge draw. Many different types of vendors filled the ballroom carrying Christmas decor, wreaths, jewelry, clothing, wool mittens, woodworking projects, signs, candles, crocheted items, lap blankets, floral arrangements and much more. There truly was something for most anyone's interest and many gift ideas. In the future I would like to take an official tour and checkout pricing for a yearly event I'm involved with. This is a beautiful venue with endless potential.

Thank you to Pipers for an incredible evening!…read more My now husband and I got married at Pipers at the Marott on New Year's Eve 2022. Pipers at the Marott was not even on my radar, when initially searching for venues for a wedding. I was looking for something upscale, classy, and looked vintage. I recently moved to Indianapolis and happen to be driving by one day. I noticed that this beautiful, twin brick building mentioned it provided catering services and had to inquire. Pipers had everything I was looking for, and the best part of it all, it came with Ashley, the sales & catering manager. She really was incredible. She was very fast to respond to all emails I sent and helped me through the (very emotional) process of planning my own wedding. With her help, I felt confident that I didn't need to hire a full-time planner because she was so on top of it. Pipers has in-house catering, the venue, service, and will provide dessert. After viewing the gorgeous face, I knew it was perfect for our party. Thank you again, and I hope this review helps future brides make their decision!

The Hall has many separate rooms of different sizes to suit your needs and they have catering, bar tenders and MCs/DJs. If you need a photographer, face painter of ballon artist they got you covered. The staff there is very personable and friendly. They throw some first class events like a Daddy/Daughter Dance, Mommy/Son Dance, and the Grinch Breakfast. The facility is awesome and I am impressed as to how they decorate the rooms. They are creative and innovative. My littles had a blast and cant wait until the next event. It would have been a five star rating, if they events would have went just a bit smoother. Some of the activities lines were way long and no one knew exactly what to do about it at some of the events. A bit more organization and this place is easily a five star joint. In addition to their signature events, you can rent the facility for special events such as birthdays, anniversaries, Holiday parties, Office parties and weddings. If you are looking for a facility to host your next event, this place should be at the top of you list. I highly recommend it. You will not be disappointed.
