With that said, Super Soccer Stars was the perfect start to our son's soccer journey. This will be our 12th season--he started at age 3 and is now 5--and our son looks forward to each class. All his coaches have fostered values of teamwork, healthy competition, and self-confidence over the years. And they've been attentive to his individual strengths and weaknesses despite being enrolled in group classes. Classes are easy to schedule with multiple locations in Queens and programs are age-specific. I'm surprised by the complaints about customer service and rescheduling. The times that I've been unable to schedule a make-up class, of which there are usually multiple opportunities unless it's the end of the season, they applied a credit toward future sessions. My only gripe is that during inclement weather you don't know whether class is cancelled until the last minute and you're already on the road.

The free infant class is a full house and there are a ton of regulars. The instructors know how to put on a good show for both parents and nannies and the whole family ends up having a blast. Infants under 6 months are free and will listen to music and practice tummy time. But the creme de la creme is what they call showtime where the instructors will take each of the babies with bare feet and have the babies try to balance and stand or sit on the instructor's hands without any assistance. And no matter the baby, they do it! My kiddo has learned so much each week and can now stand.

We love the emphasis on social emotional learning, alongside literacy, numbers, music and science. He's been able to take piano lessons from 3 years old. The 8-6pm hours are helpful with work, and Goddard is open many days that public schools are closed. Their kindergarten coordinator has been extraordinarily helpful with kindergarten applications. We really like the current administrators, and the teachers have been consistently great!

I am so annoyed at this Goddard's Directors. Another review noted they're, "incompetent, difficult,…read moreand miserable" and I can't confirm that enough. Directors set the tone of the whole daycare, and this Goddard has become a joke at the playground of how we as parents, were ignored, or what incompetence has been done. I truly don't understand how both Directors aren't fired - two new rehires - with positive attitudes that acknowledge parents, say hi to kids, and listen to problems would change the entire tone of the daycare.
