Donuts. My review for this store is entirely based on the donuts they make in store. The donuts…read moreare THAT GOOD. There was a time when donuts were made in store at Tim Hortons. They were good and then they started making them in a factory, freezing them and shipping them to stores, and they are now terrible. I have been to a lot of specialty donut shops and it always seems like they make crazy flavours with tons of toppings to justify the super high prices. At Zehrs, you can get old school donuts at amazing old school prices! $1 a donut when you buy 6! You can also buy single donuts from the self serve case. I have tried the glazed (think Krispy Kreme original), Chocolate Eclair/Long John (yeast donut with "whipped cream" and chocolate glaze), Glazed Persian (This Thunder Bay remake has no pink icing, just a tasty cinnamon donut), Old Fashioned Cake (needs some nutmeg and a bit more moisture to be perfect), Apple Fritter (decent but San Remo still makes the best Apple Fritter) and hands down the best donut Zehr's offer: the Raspberry jelly filled donut - a super soft yeast donut filled with raspberry jelly (and I mean FILLED) and topped with powdered sugar... my only complaint is it has a lot of powdered sugar, but I just brush it off before eating, so I don't end up wearing it all! Because I don't live in Bradford, I actually order in advance and they are always happy to accommodate! The store itself is a nice store, part of the Loblaws brand, and they are the only store near me that sell PC Caramelized Onion and Balsamic Kettle Chips, which is one of hubby's faves. It's not that far from Hwy 400 for the folks heading up north to the cottage too. I am a fan!

I went to take advantage of a sale they had that was too good to pass up. The access to the store from the street is quite odd and the parking was ok. We found the store to be quite clean and well maintained. Interaction with the staff was flawless as they were polite and attentive. I will definitely return if I'm in Bradford again.

Seen this place transform from their old, not so tidy to their updated and more refreshed appearance. Compared to other grocery stores I still find No Frills chains the most affordable one. I can get my grass fed steaks here not ripping off my budget. They offer some organic stuff too, though its limited. The produce is alright you'll find good ones specially when they are fully stocked. Its great that this location is so diversed that they cater products from different background. They have the aisle for Kosher products, aisle for International foods and Halal meats and so on. I don't miss swinging by the Natural Food aisle. I'm glad that most of my stuff I use they have it here. This location don't offer yet the self checkout corner, seen some places they have it already but this one, you'll do the traditional queuing to cash out. I guess that's better, meaning more people are still employed than a machine. The people who works in this location is always approachable. You see them sweeping, stacking or putting away stuffs they will always throw you a smile and happy to assist you. I use my optimum card to collect my PC points and boy, I'm in heaven when its time to use my accumulated points! Who doesn't like big savings??? Location is just at the intersection of Bathurst and Wilson just around the corner with TD bank beside it, which also they share space for parking.

Please see my previous review for more detail. My daughter…read moreand I returned to Asia Food Mart for a culinary excursion of the Food Mart variety. This place is huge, and sells all kinds of things. Parking is a bit hectic, even at 1:45 on a Thursday afternoon. The parking spots right in front of the Food Mart are very small, and scary for a big SUV like mine. But there is very frequent turnover, and if you just drive around the lot for 30 seconds, someone will be pulling out. The parking spaces in front of the stores facing the Food Mart are larger and a bit easier to navigate. This mall is great fun to go to. They have all manner of foods (fresh noodles! Great fruits! Asian stuffed toys and cosmetics! Fresh meat and seafood! The list goes on and on ...) and an excellent prepared food counter, and a Chatime outlet. We bought some mochi, some enormous strawberries, and a variety of dim sums from the food counter. Our selections included fried dough sticks (they actually reheat well in the air-fryer), fried squid, scallion pancakes, seafood and pork dumplings, some delicious pork and shrimp mini-pancakes. The squid was the way my daughter likes it (chewy), and I enjoyed some as well. Everything else was great, although the dumplings were a bit past their peak, and should have been switched out for new ones. We also enjoyed some delicious bubble tea from Chatime, which always has new, seasonal selections to tempt you. Basically, a trip to the Asia Food Mart is really fun, as they have such a diversity of products. Next time, I'm coming here to shop "for real" (meaning actual groceries, as opposed to lunch or snacks). The butchery and fish counters serve really fresh food at a good price, and there are some great deals on produce. You can't get around the fact that this is a snack haven. You should check it out now!!! It's open 24/7.

Love that they have a variety of produce, fresh and frozen items. They also have a beauty section that you must pay for beauty products prior to checking out your groceries. They also have a large Japanese section with lots of imported goodies that you can find in Japan. Overall, a great supermarket with lots of Asian products that you can find here.

Disreputable and Dishonest business practices at this store. This week pork spare ribs were on sale…read morefor $2.38 lb. Went in Thursday morning at 9am on the last day of sale and there were none. I was informed by a guy behind the counter that there would be more in the afternoon. I went about the store to do some other shopping and noticed when I went by the meat counter a few minutes later the sign behind the counter had been changed to a price of $3.59 lb. , still no ribs as expected. I went back to the store later that day at 6pm and was informed that there were no ribs available to sell. Would you believe that I went back to the store just as soon as it opened up today at 9am to see the meat counter filled with ribs to sell now at $3.59 lb. This is blatantly Dishonest business practices and although they are a neighborhood grocer they have lost my business period and I will make sure to tell my neighbors just how they ripoff the consumer. I wish I could give them no stars.

Way way way better than whole foods and believe me, I used to be a whole foods addict (but after you come to farm boy, you realize how overrated and overpriced WF is) The staff are pretty friendly here and they have a lot of items made in-house (farm boy exclusive only!) I really recommend: - the berry filled jelly mini donuts (legit the FRESHEST and softest jelly donuts I've ever had. These don't last me longer than a day) - jalapeño cheddar little bread biscuits (they're near the front - dude, they're amazing) - in house made sparkling water - a better tasting, cheaper la croix in insane flavours (the orange vanilla one tastes like a creamsicle....In sparkling) - the bagels!! Herb and cheese to be exact- nothing compares to montreal bagels...but this comes pretty damn close. - the ice cream sandwiches!!! OMG. These are it. - the house-made soup! So so so good, hearty and healthy for you. They also have a cute village juicery IN STORE. I love almost everything about this place - the only thing I've noticed is that sometimes I'm followed around/closely watched and monitored and I definitely notice it - however this is just something I unfortunately face being a minority in a very Caucasian city and I'm finally starting to pick up on it. Ugh, please stop following me...I spend almost $200 every week here. Please :(
