The best part of the trip was how we had the boat exclusively to ourselves! I didn't know it'd be a private tour until the day I came. So, the boat was just a total of 3 people (captain included). The water temperature was great and the clarity was decent. We even saw two dolphins! You meetup at Whiskey Joe's at the marina and you can start your excursion immediately. I liked that you didn't need to wait around much. I was able to see some cool looking fish, a bottom feeder and a crab. You get 2 hours for the snorkeling and you're not required to wear any life vests (in fact, we weren't offered any and I didn't see any). The water is super shallow so it didn't seem dangerous at all. The water is also salty and easy to float in. The boat was nearby the main snorkeling area. The bad: The area for snorkeling was pretty small. It was an artificial reef where the fish were but outside of that area there is just seagrass and there's no living things to observe. The website says snorkeling starts at $75/pp and up but that's misleading b/c that's only the price if you have 8+ people. When I came to the marina, the worker who had me sign paperwork said that "$25/hour tip is required" when I got an email saying 15% tip is optional. My husband clarified and he said "yes, it's required" but later retracted his statement after I clarified that it was strange to give tip upfront before we even went on the excursion. However, I did already give 15% tip upfront on 50% of the value and then Zelled an additional $25 tip to the captain himself afterward. The cost for snorkeling ended up being $407 for 2 people (pricey). The interesting: The captain swam with us to lead us to the reef and then swam back and was mostly on his phone.

More art then we had a tropical sandwich that was to die for-mozzarella, tomato, basil, mango and pineapple-such a unique and delicious sandwich. The vinaigrette that was in the sandwich I bought a bottle to bring home More art and food stop #4 Joe's Pizza-new York style foldable and everything. More murals and then a cookie from Night Owl. We loved hearing the stories about the commissioned artists, some of their trademarks to notice as we walked around, and the different mediums they use to 'paint' their murals. All in all we met great people, ate fantastic food, and saw some beautiful, meaningful art. We ended at the Wynwood museum, we could explore there as long as we wished. Highly recommend!!!

I was told a marathon was impacting traffic, but as a traveler who planned ahead and arrived on time, this is something the company should have anticipated and communicated more clearly. I also spent about $80 in Uber fees just getting to the meeting location, which added to the frustration. To their credit, the guide later connected me with the first food stop and arranged for tacos and issued a full refund, which I appreciated. However, the bigger disappointment was the lost opportunity--I could have booked a drag show or another tour during that time instead of waiting. Customer service tried to make things right after the fact, but better planning, proactive communication, and respect for guests' time would have made a big difference.

She brought ponchos so we could continue on as it rained. It was beautiful to learn about and see this neighborhood through the eyes of someone who grew up here. Toni knows so much history and seemed to know so many of the people, too! The tour has so much food - I was honestly more than full at the end and I didn't even finish all of my portions. I think it was a really good range of drinks, desserts, and food. Even though that coffee cup looks small, that's a full serving size and it was strong! I really really appreciate that this tour not only accommodated for vegetarians but also chose options for me that were realllllly good. Instead of the cubano, I had these fried plantain cups stuffed with veggies. They were SO good and seasoned well! And the spinach and cheese empanada was also amazing. My friend who got the meat options also loved her food. This tour is the perfect way to learn more about Cuban history, the history of the neighborhood, see all the street art, watch a game at domino park, and experience some of the best food in Miami. The time went by so quickly and it wouldn't have been the same experience without Mariela as our guide. She is so passionate and knowledgeable. Her energy was so upbeat. I think this a great tour for visitors who want to learn about a culture that shapes Miami as well as locals who want to learn about a neighborhood they may not know the ins and outs of. The locals warned us to sip slow, woke me right up and offered good advice on adding sweetened condensed milk. Cost 5/5 $69.99 As a self-proclaimed high low girl, this tour was right up my alley. I booked my reservation online at : https://miamidoubledecker.com/ and made my payment at the south beach office/pick up spot(305 Lincoln Rd, Miami Beach, FL 33139) that morning that you are picked up-$40 cash only Cindy picked us up right on time in a double decker bus. She was nice enough to do a mini city tour as we left the city. She had a great attitude the whole way through and made sure we were comfortable before we left (seeing if the air conditioning was ok and if anyone needed translation in Spanish). She gave us a return time after the 6 hour free time at key west, warning us about how expensive it can be to Uber back but not in a threatening manner(I've been on tours where the bus driver was actually going to leave us stranded if we didn't return on the dot). She made sure we were all on the bus before we left. We even got back 30 min early. They offer discounts for the hop on hop off while you're on the bus(cash only)

We booked a tour for April 18, 2026, and arrived at the departure point at 9:00 AM. At 9:10 AM, the staff told us we were "late" for check-in and claimed the driver didn't even show up because "no other passengers had checked in." They refused to help and told us to try our luck with another company a block away. Here is where it gets ridiculous: We went to the other company, paid $35 (Miami Tours charged us $50), and got on a professional, punctual bus. Ten minutes later, that bus stopped right in front of Miami Tours to pick up more passengers. The EXACT SAME STAFF MEMBER who told us their tour was cancelled and that there were no other options boarded our new bus to escort the group. When I confronted him, he pretended he didn't know us. The Aftermath: Zero Accountability: I have sent multiple refund requests through their website--ignored. Abysmal Service: I called their office four times. Every single time, the representative hung up the phone on me before I could even finish explaining the issue. Better Value Elsewhere: The competitor a block away is not only $15 cheaper, but their schedule (10:20-20:50) is far superior to Miami Tours' restrictive 09:30-17:00 window. They took $50 for a service they never provided and are now actively dodging my calls. Save your money, save your time, and go to the more professional operators nearby. This place is a total sham.
