It's currently mid-June and my windshield has yet to be repaired. Let's take a trip down memory lane on how we got to a situation where five months later, I still am driving around with a cracked windshield. January: I file my claim. I set up an appointment. Things are going great. A few days before the appointment I get a call. My glass is unavailable. They have to reschedule, but they really don't know when it's going to be in. February: Where's my windshield? How do I even get through to a person at the New London store? Don't worry, we'll get it to you soon. March: Where's my windshield? Oh - we couldn't get ahold of you! (THEY NEVER CONTACTED ME) We sent it back! We'll call you when it comes back in. April: I go on vacation... and life takes over. But no one from Safelite contacts me. May: I contact my insurance agency in frustration. Finally we get an appointment scheduled in June. Today: Today was my appointment. My husband took off work from 12-5 today. I even got an email saying they scheduled a tech. At 4:30 he contacts me because no one has shown up. I call the number on the email and after saying "representative" a few times, I'm connected with an employee. She assures me that I'm still on the schedule, but if the tech doesn't show up by 5, then please call back. 5 PM rolls around and no one. I call back and I get a voice recording.... with no voice mail option. We call the insurance agency. They have no way to contact anyone at the company either. So where's the windshield? I don't know. Where's my technician? I'm not sure. Will my windshield ever get replaced? You've got me. Will someone ever call me back? Highly doubtful. Will Safelight Customer Service comment on this post and encourage me to call some number only to talk to artificial intelligence? HIGHLY LIKELY.

    They cancelled first 2 appointments, Then i prepay and while im on the phone with them there trying…read moreto reschedule. The guy pulls in and leaves and tells them I cancelled and I never spoke to him. Lady on phone says its a mistake and then blames me saying I refused to pay. I have the settlement money and pre authorized payments. They offered me a 4th appointment and told me there tech is really good. They declined to send tech so I can speak to him about how we never talked. Claiming shes not going to send him here to fight. No one said anything about fighting. Its about accountability and service. Which safelite doesnt offer. Dont waste your time here if your busy. I will be sending corporate a bill for wasting my time.
