the worst i'm just waiting for my membership to expire. None of the car wash are complete. One is missing a brush or something all the time. I think I'm gonna change to another company. i'm very disappointed with the service. read more

I have a monthly membership and lately the vacuums have not been working and I just left there and all towels were dirty, dry and had food attached to them. Do you not wash your towels more than 1x a day. I know it's later in the day but that is gross! Do better! I am wasting my money. read more

Our car needed a wash so we came to Soapy Joe's since we were nearby. The previous car wash (prior to Soapy Joe's buying them out) was awesome - great water pressure and our car would always come out clean... until now. The place was busy on a Saturday after 5pm. After running it through the wash, the drying stations were full but eventually we got a spot. There were still dirty spots on the car that we had to use the towels to rub them off. We suspect the pressure may have been turned down since the new ownership. There were plenty of towels. The vacuums were all working. We may not return to this one with the amount of dirt still left on our car. read more

Genuinely won't be going back to this location. - I have no issues with the car wash itself but the staff is so extremely pushy. I have been here twice for a singular car wash and both times it was like pulling teeth to get through without buying the membership. I said "No thank you" or "not today" no less than 10 times all while the attendant was following beside my car as I drove still trying to convince me to change my mind. I'm an adult. I know I don't want a membership. And now I don't even want a normal car wash. read more

I am extremely disappointed and upset with the service I received today at Soapy Joe's. Before entering the wash tunnel, I clearly signaled to the attendant to spray the front and back of my vehicle. He looked directly at me but did not respond or pause the process to assist. At that moment, my driver's window was rolled down about three-quarters of the way. Because he did not stop the wash, he rushed to hand me the air freshener, and water immediately sprayed into my vehicle--spraying my pants, shirt, face, steering wheel, and driver's seat. As a long-time customer, I have never experienced anything like this. The lack of attention and disregard for basic customer service is unacceptable. Unfortunately, this incident has made me unwilling to return. Given the circumstances, I respectfully request a refund for today's wash. read more

This is the ONLY location that does what it advertises. Other areas I have gone to soapy joes- Miramar road down to Chula Vista. Today was Chula Vista. My car was shined and didn't have water spots and I was in the wash for a longer time than in others. When I was at the tire shine section I thought the track had stopped! I panicked. Finally my ca moved. The machine actually took its time. The dryers were good. But I came out and was stunned there were no spots. I asked if the company is a franchise because there was no consistency. The employee didn't know. Better than Super star for sure. Although it would be great if soapy joes had the air for "tires" everyone uses to blow air out of the window tracks read more

I've been to this car washer room 5 to 6 times every single time there's a delay and everyone is extremely rude that I was washing the car here they have no common courtesy and the wait time is just stupid. It's not worth it. Find another car wash do yourself a read more

I have given this location so many tries and I don't know why I keep going back, but today was the final straw. I was driving my car up to buy my car wash selection and this female attendant came up and I said I am OK. I got it. I don't need your help so she let me go about my business following her not even 30 seconds later. A male attendant named "Martin" came up to me as I'm trying to make a purchase and stood very close and I told him I don't need his help as well and he continued to harass me for three minutes seemed more like a century. He was adamant about standing in my personal space as I continue to tell him that I don't need his help and he can move away from me and he didn't. This is a form of harassment and I will not stand for it! I have already contacted corporate and will be filing a formal complaint. Whatever happened to the customer is always right if you're telling one of the workers that you don't need their help to purchase a car wash then they should respect the fact that you need personal space and walk away! This whole location need training on showing respect to the customer as well as not harassing them. read more

And I thought the National City spot was horrible this one on Main Street you're literally waiting on a busy street to turn into the driveway which is so small if you have a big car you can't get in you have to reverse it and you have to make sure nobody's behind you with their behind you because they have to stay close because they're on a baby Street they closed off the only area that was safe enough to get into the car wash the spots are small think I might just go ahead and cancel my subscription because it's really hard to get in and I don't want to mess up my Jeep just because I want to get it washed read more

This car wash is so convenient because it's right off the freeway and the staff is beyond friendly!

I really dislike this location one, because they took out a business I really liked that offered more to the consumer but also was MADE for a mid tier business in terms of volume. Buying this location out and trying to use it for a Soapy Joe's is a joke. I really don't even mess with trying to vacuum and lately my car isn't getting even remotely clean. The one in IB is much better and has more room. Trying to navigate the overcrowded vacuum area is nuts. Also due to that and people waiting sometimes it will push you out of the washer and into a car that's stopped waiting for the vacuum area. It's a mess. read more

Kenny manager was awesome today was professional and very helpful and really customer service focused providing exceptional customer service today re-washing the car when it didn't come out that clean on the first wash Thanks!! read more

First and last time coming here, there's 4 spots with no vacuums and no towels to wash the car and spaces are really small.

This is the worse place EVER! It's way too small & takes 30mins to have a wash here. And after washing another 20 mins to wait for vacuuming This location sucks !! read more

This evening I went through the car wash, and I had some reindeer ears on my car, and I forgot that they were there went through the car wash, and then when I was coming out the other side, I rolled down the window, a little bit and one of the little plastic pieces fell off my car One of the employees from this car wash decided to pick it up and throw it at the back of my car, he didn't do any kind of damage or anything like that, but it very much upset me that they would do something like that I have been purchasing the $39 car wash per month for over a year now and I canceled it today because I don't want to do business with someone that their employees would treat customers in that manner. I talked to the manager and he was very nice. He helped me cancel the subscription so I would not be charged in the future, but it's ashamed that their employees would treat customers in that manner I am posting this review because the manager suggested that the office see this and do something about their employees and the way they treat other customers read more

Went to get a car wash with my grandma the other day, she wasn't sure in which car wash packet to purchase and this lovely lady named Belma was a big help! She patiently explained to my grandma all three options and made us feel welcome 10/10. read more

Changed the closing time without any notice of the change, prices rose in the past couple years, and there is regularly not any clean towels in the vacuum area. Both the IB and this location always has at least one of their scrubbers not functioning, and the IB location has been closed in the middle of the day a few times for seemingly no reason.. maintain the machines with the extra hour you have now closing earlier (also you should probably update your operating times on your ad emails since they still advertise closing at 9pm). Soapy Joe's used to be great but ever since they have made an expansion push quality/satisfaction has gone down and prices have gone up. read more

I was already bummed that Soapy Joes bought out the last car wash that was here because they were excellent. I decided to go give it a try even though I already felt that SJ's machines NEVER work. I pulled up for a wash and what do you know, they said I would have to wait 15 minutes because their machines were down. At this point I feel it's a scam to people who actually pay for the memberships because they're paying regardless if the machines work or not. Which is why I'll never become a member. How is it that the last car wash there previously never had machine issues and SJ does already? It's a scam. Superstar wash is literally 5 minutes away and is cheaper and comes with more amenities. Drive there instead. read more

I'm a big fan of Soapy Joe's Car wash but this location...0 out of 10, staff is rude and they want to kick you out before you're done. They're not coordinated, the staff runs the machines manually which already caused other vehicles to bump into mine. I'm paying a pretty good penny every month to get an OK service at least and this place was not it. First and last time I use this place. read more

Josue was great !! Very helpful & patient , location is very clean ! always stocked up :)) everyone should come to this car wash !!!!

I was a little upset when aqua express closed down and soapy joes took over... but today totally changed my mind. Nate was the employee I worked with today and he helped set me up with a membership and everything. The place looks very nice and my car looked super clean afterwards. I highly recommend the magic Joe! Thanks read more

Before this car wash became a Soapy Joes, the service was excellent and actually received what I paid for (actual tire "shine"). Coming to this location was the worst experience I have had in a while. First, I paid for the "Magic" Joe selection - checked the tires and it didn't have any product. I asked the worker to check and he argued that I should have got the membership. He insisted that I always went there which I never said so that he can justify that I should've purchased the membership in the first place. He did not know how to handle the situation so I spoke with **Ivan**, the manager. He was very disrespectful and gave excuses on how their tire shine was not working. He asked if I wanted to run my car through the wash though I questioned if that will make a difference. I asked for his business card and he gave me a membership card. This place has very unprofessional employees and manager. Please refrain from coming to this specific car wash. read more

Another great experience at Soapy Joes! This is the second time DJ has helped us and he is always so kind and polite. This time he was helping my daughter with the machine as this was her first time going through the car wash. We will be back! read more

I went in to the car wash a couple minutes before closing but Kevin was so patient and still kind enough to provide me with exceptional service. The car wash was also a 10/10 for only being a simple wash. Will be coming again. Thank you again Kevin! read more

Amazing staff and a great squeaky clean wash! The tunnel was easy to access and the staff was able to sell membership

I was rear-ended while on the conveyor belt going through the wash! The employee stationing the vehicles saw everything happen and said nothing to me. He stopped the wash, spoke to the lady who hit my car, and then started the wash and pushed us through. This location lacks respect and doesn't value its customers. I recommend you retrain your employees to station the vehicles. Someone has to held accountable and the fact that I can't even talk to the employee and he didn't even mention it to site management isn't looking good. You have cameras throughout the entire car wash. Roll it back!!! read more

Pretty sad is was purchased by soapy joes. Vacuums never work and the place is always a mess. Definitely won't be coming to this car wash anymore. If the previous owner is on here brotha, we need you and your business back. What you did was great here, now soapy joes will bring this area down. read more

This car wash is terrible. First off, the price went from $6 to $13 for a basic car wash. Secondly, they do not brush off the front of your car before entering the car wash anymore. And lastly, they do not have the 2 guys at the end of the car wash to dry your car off anymore. A big waste of money! read more

Victor was efficient and quick. I left my credit card there and he quickly called me and let me know.

I have been with Soapy Joes for over 2 years now and stay with them because I love the way the air freshener smells. However, I am writing this review because of a monthly fee issue that they have purposely stolen from my account for 17 months. I have called this location 7 times, each time after a long hold was hung up on each time. This is unacceptable business practices and encourage all of you to check your bank statements. read more
