There's machines that don't work AFTER you've put in your money. I've put money into 2 dryers, had them run their full cycles (on high temperature), only to feel cold damp clothes when I opened the door. So yah. This place sucks just a little bit. I mean... there's people here that seem to like this place. I don't, that's for sure. If anything, the dryers that do work go for $0.25 for 9-10 minutes. Washers range from $2.75, $4.50, and up. I don't remember how long they run for. Try it at your own risk. Avoid it if you can. That's my best Yelp* advice.

This place wasn't on Yelp or Google when I was searching for a laundromat near our new house in Norwalk. The others I found and went into were packed and overpriced. They wanted $3.50 for a triple load washer and 25 cents for 10 minutes in the stacked dryers. Nearly all the dryers were full, so I left them. I was driving down Pioneer Blvd when I saw this Lavanderia in a small plaza. There's a mariscos restaurant, tropical fish store, cleaners, threading shop, pizza and water place, and dentist in this Plaza. Parking was great, many open spots right in front of the laundromat. Signs on the windows indicate it opens at 4am! It remains open until 9pm. There was one man inside when I got here, but another couple appeared to take their clothes out of the dryers shortly after I got started. Only one other woman came in for one load the entire two hours I was there. There aren't a lot of machines compared to other coin laundry places I've been to, but that's understandable since it wasn't busy. Check my photos for the number of each machine and prices. It was a little unkept, but no bugs or trash anywhere... Other than in trashcans. :) I did the equivalent of 6 loads for $10.25! Very happy! The dryers were hot and perfect. Only 50 cents to DRY two weeks of my husband's shirts... That's impressive.

Price seemed reasonable at $2 a pound. They let you bring your own detergent, which is great as I have many allergies to scents in detergents (they do offer detergent as well for various prices at different amounts and offer a scentless option as well, I just felt better bringing my own detergent). They also offer hypoallergenic dryer sheets options. So I decided to give them a try. When entering, the place is clean. Not just clean, it's spotless. The workers don't sit behind the counter, they are on the floor, sweeping, wiping counters and machines down with disinfectant wipes, etc. And other than soap, there is no odor. They keep it CLEAN. There are some sitting areas, an area where laundry baskets on wheels are kept for use, and a dispenser to buy detergent. Machines all have tap menus to pay--if you have cash, you have to get a tap card at the front. No machines here use coins, everything is modernized. If you need help, staff is there to help you with anything you have questions about. I took my laundry pre-sorted in bags to the counter. The gentleman who answered the phone came over and took my information and then weighed my bags. Just shy of $68 for a little over 33 pounds of laundry. Said they would try to be done by end of day but Sundays are busy, so they give 24 hours (which is stated--laundry done within 24 hours, so if you come late or it's super busy, you may not have your things until next morning). I said it's fine, I can come late, morning, or whatever. They took my clothes and my detergent. I got a text saying I would be notified upon completion. Thanked the guy and left to get everything done I had to rush to do. Got a text message a little over 2 hours later that my clothes were already ready! Drove over to pick them up, was greeted by the same gentleman. Everything was folded very nicely and bagged up. They even saved my bags I used for the clothes and kept them alongside my detergent. Everything was labeled nicely and clearly. All I had to do was come in and pick up my clothes, using a laundry basket to wheel them out to my car. I was so impressed with their work that I returned the next day and had my towels washed because my replacement unit was delayed being delivered. I received the same excellent service. If you have an emergency and need your laundry done, either you have a broken unit or have errands to run but need it all done with no way to wait for it yourself, I HIGHLY recommend this place with their wash and fold service. Just note it gets super busy on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. The sooner you arrive to drop off, the sooner it can be done. Rates are different for different types of clothes or bedding, so be aware ahead of time checking the signs or calling in advance to ask. I don't know rates if you stay and wash things yourself since I used the wash and fold services.

Everything felt really efficient and modern. When I picked up my laundry, everything was neatly folded and packed with care, and smelled so fresh. You can really tell they pay attention to the little details. The laundromat itself was also spotless, and the representative who helped me was very kind (unfortunately I forgot to ask for her name!) Last week, I took in a dress I wore to a wedding. It wasn't visibly dirty, but I had been dancing all night, so it definitely needed to be properly cleaned. When my husband brought it home, it still smelled like my perfume and sweat, as if it hadn't been cleaned at all. Paying $30 for a dress that came back smelling exactly the same was extremely disappointing. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I can't recommend this business.

They have a few change machines, though, so as long as you have enough cash on-hand, you can still use them.

Sometimes we come early Monday and Fridays and it's a bit more busier. Some dryers and washers aren't always working from time to time but overall most are in good condition. We usually do a medium load and it's $4.50 and we do 2-3 loads at a time. Dryer is $.25 cents for 10 minutes. They have the option to do quarters still but I love the pay range app that we can use now. All you need to do is download the app and upload cash to it and you can use it for the washers and dryers instead of carrying around cash to get quarters. The workers are really friendly as well and keep everything running smoothly. If you get hungry while waiting there's a fantastic burger down the way which is .
