Very rude disrespectful Hispanic man wearing a hat working today May 30th @ 1:00am. I was attempting to load the washers and the man working here thinks it's acceptable to use a leaf blower inside the facility to blow dust and debris all over the place! Zero respect for everyone and myself! When I went to confront the man and ask him to stop. No respect for fellow patrons, I got real furious with him! He yelled back at me rudely saying "this is my job" ! I started coughing and I have a bad case of asthma! He should be using a broom and a dustpan to clean up! I've been coming here since the day this location first opened! The reason I keep coming back was friendly service from the other workers, but this Hispanic man I encountered was just plain rude!!

Thank you Jennifer for a very nice facility. I like how this facility was converted from a shoe store to a Coin op laundry mat. For just opening you have made a difference in this community. 4 different style side loading units 20 lb, 30 lb, 40 lb 60 lb and 80 lb loaders. brand new with all the updated settings. and still coin op style. 2 change machines and a special machine that will break down 20 dollar bills to 5 dollar bills this is so cool. a small continence store with laundry soap, fabric softeners and laundry bags even hangers... nice. and also a vending machine with small bottles of the same. vending machines for sodas, Ice cream and chips and other condiments. 3 coin op massage chairs and little rides for children. They even have a sneaker/shoe washer and dryer this is unique... Customer service is the priority they have attendants giving laundry carts at the parking lot they even help bring in your laundry. A friend from the former 24 hour laundrymat 2 block down that burned down. I don't want to say her name out of respect so I will call her miss J. She attends to this faciity as she did at her former job. Sweeping, moping, answering questions, and always on the go. I feel she is a asset to this new establishment, This is my second time here. 6 picnic benches for you to relax and with for washing or drying, 3 marble folding tables. oh and a coffee machine. 150 per cup. I like it that is is not too modernized no USB ports and no card readers on the machines, oh and 3 TVs with different channels going. So what makes this so unique is that its free drying just read the signs and follow instructions. drying time varies. ask attendant for more info. So I may make this my laundromat for now.

Thanks to a slab leak that affects almost four rooms in my house and a complete water shut off, I get to experience laundromat washing once again in almost 16 years. This place used to be a shoe warehouse, and is located on the corner of Rosecrans and Pioneer in Norwalk. This place is huge. It has five rows of washing machines, all ranging in different prices and weight limits, and the whole back wall is where the dryers are at. Prices range from $5.50 to $11.00. Dryers are free, and only if you washed your clothes in this facility. There are two sneaker washers and dryers, as well. There's three different change machines: two to change into quarters and one to make your bills in smaller denominations. An ATM machine is on-site, as well. Aside from spending your money on washing your clothes, you have the opportunity to spend money on snacks, drinks, laundry detergents, massage chairs (there's four of them), toy and candy vending machines, claw machines, and kiddie rides. The attendants wear orange shirts, and the one that was on-site today was nice, helpful, and was always cleaning up after everyone. A local radio station is playing right now, and there's four different flat screen TV's with news and sports on. I can't really speak on the price of the washers, as it's been ages since I last had to use one. If anything, I'm sure the price of the washers also go towards the attendants, the security cameras, and all the extra extras in this laundromat. For the most part, this place is clean, well-looked after, well-ventilated, and there's plenty of space for sitting and waiting for your laundry to clean. There are plenty of laundry carts, there's four rows of folding tables, and there's a coffee machine, as well. It says there's free wi-fi, but I nor my older two can't find any postings for the password. I'm sure we'd have to ask the attendant for it. Washers run for 30 minutes, and dryers run for 40 minutes, regardless the size of the washers and dryers. We went here on a Monday evening, at about 4:00pm. It wasn't very busy when we got here, but it's starting to pick up now.

Went here for the first time around 5pm because my machine broke. It was not overcrowded like I assumed it would be. I had a $20 bill but was able to break it into 5's with their bill breaker. I used the 4 loader and paid $7. I got it all done in an hour and a half! My daughter had fun with the claw machine and the other kid machines. They have a coffee machine that dispenses freshly ground coffee, I just wish they had stirrers for the coffee and some pastries in the vending machine. The prices for everything in the machines were a good deal. I did get some cookies and they were delicious. Drying was free and quick.there was enough seating for me to enjoy my coffee and a ton of space for me to fold all my laundry. My machine isn't broken anymore but I lay stop by again next time I had a ton of laundry to do. Oh and they have a machine to wash and dry your shoes, how cool is that!?

So I'm here, at Lavenderia. And I wish I was at the other place. Half of the machines don't work. There's labels on them saying they don't. And then the best part??? There's machines that don't work AFTER you've put in your money. I've put money into 2 dryers, had them run their full cycles (on high temperature), only to feel cold damp clothes when I opened the door. So yah. This place sucks just a little bit. I mean... there's people here that seem to like this place. I don't, that's for sure. If anything, the dryers that do work go for $0.25 for 9-10 minutes. Washers range from $2.75, $4.50, and up. I don't remember how long they run for. Try it at your own risk. Avoid it if you can. That's my best Yelp* advice.

I'm a fan of empty and quiet laundromats. This place wasn't on Yelp or Google when I was searching for a laundromat near our new house in Norwalk. The others I found and went into were packed and overpriced. They wanted $3.50 for a triple load washer and 25 cents for 10 minutes in the stacked dryers. Nearly all the dryers were full, so I left them. I was driving down Pioneer Blvd when I saw this Lavanderia in a small plaza. There's a mariscos restaurant, tropical fish store, cleaners, threading shop, pizza and water place, and dentist in this Plaza. Parking was great, many open spots right in front of the laundromat. Signs on the windows indicate it opens at 4am! It remains open until 9pm. There was one man inside when I got here, but another couple appeared to take their clothes out of the dryers shortly after I got started. Only one other woman came in for one load the entire two hours I was there. There aren't a lot of machines compared to other coin laundry places I've been to, but that's understandable since it wasn't busy. Check my photos for the number of each machine and prices. It was a little unkept, but no bugs or trash anywhere... Other than in trashcans. :) I did the equivalent of 6 loads for $10.25! Very happy! The dryers were hot and perfect. Only 50 cents to DRY two weeks of my husband's shirts... That's impressive.

Several of the larger machines now smell bad, which is already an issue. On top of that, interactions with staff have consistently been uncomfortable. Anytime we ask to break a $20 or $100 bill (which is pretty standard at laundromats), the response is dismissive or flat-out refused, without explanation or effort to help. The tone from staff often comes across as condescending rather than professional. There also seems to be a communication barrier, which wouldn't be a problem on its own--but instead of trying to clarify or help, it creates tension and frustration for customers. Most recently, we were told we couldn't start a wash late in the evening, only to watch another customer be allowed to do so minutes later. No explanation, no apology. Between the odors, inconsistent rules, and uncomfortable staff interactions, the overall vibe just isn't welcoming. Customer service matters, and unfortunately this place falls short. Any efforts being made to clean the machines have not resolved the problem and require improvement. Intent doesn't negate impact--discomfort was still caused.

He stares constantly and sometimes follows me around; it feels like harassment and sends a clear message of 'What are you doing here?' It wasn't just quick help -- it felt like he genuinely cared that I had a good experience and that my clothes came out right. This second visit was definitely busy, but it still felt like an in-and-out kind of place if you come in with a plan. Even with a lot of people there, it didn't feel chaotic or stressful.
