After bringing shirts here for over 4 years, and dealing with her dismissive, rude attitude which I…read morejust put down to her being a cranky, old lady - I went in to this business a week or so ago to pick up my shirts. She said I'm busy and can't find them right now, can you come back? Ok, I left and came back a week later. She looked again and can't find them. She tells me she gives shirts away to the wrong people all the time, but they usually bring them back. That sounds crazy, but I say 'I need my shirts back' how are you going to fix this. Then she starts gaslighting me and telling me she's sure I already picked them up. I brought the receipt and know 100% I don't have my shirts because I use them for work. She tells me to leave, go home, look through my closet and tell her exactly what shirts are missing. Ok - I come back the next day / today and tell her exactly which shirts. She then says, show me the receipts for the shirts. I show her the laundry receipt I still have - she says, no ! The store receipts!!! I have the store receipts from last year saved on my phone - I show her the receipt for 2 of the shirts. She says 'how do I know those are the 2 shirts? She's called me dishonest, a liar, a troublemaker at this point. She is just arguing non stop and refuses to even admit to losing my shirts (although she tells me right away about times she's lost other shirts... (?). I'm with my better half and my newborn son and she says "I see you here all the time with another woman, don't I ?" A white woman...then "oh, your wife is Chinese" "I didn't know you had a wife". "She's Chinese, that's why you're so miserable" I have no idea how she can get away with just being straight-up racially inappropriate to people's faces like that. I cannot believe people this ignorant and bigoted still existed in 2025. She's basically said, I lost your shirts and I'm not going to do anything about it and attempted to gaslight me into thinking I already picked them up (???) Absolutely unacceptable. This woman does not deserve to be in business any more. If you like being insulted based on your race, you love your clothes being lost and ruined - keep on indulging her. I will never go near that business again.

And here's the perfect exception. Yes they do a great job with your clothes in terms of cleaning and time of service. But anyone can do that, it's dry cleaning it's not rocket science. What makes this business a winner is the owner's exceptional ability to not only always be incredibly positive but remember things about you and your family that no other business owner would take the time to care about. And it's not like she's some kind of genius, (she might be though) she keeps it all on her computer. She'll even tell you that. But it's that small effort that makes you want to patronize a business like this.

I called ahead for them to give them my card number to pay, and now I'm glad I did. Once I parked my car, I looked in the window and neither owners were wearing masks. I motioned to put on a mask, and the man did. The woman did not. I opened the door, stayed at the doorway, and the man brought my garments to me. I am extremely disappointed that it's December and this important precaution isn't being followed. And on top of that, they have a sign in the window that tells customers they can't enter without a mask! I do not think I'll be doing business with them any longer.

The owners wife had her put the dress on and pinned everything that needed to be fixed. She went to pick it up yesterday and asked the owner if she needed to try it on again. He said no because his wife was not there. She put the dress on last night and the sides were so tight they left a red mark immediately! The shoulder seam was sewn but she completely missed sewing a piece into the seam so it was sticking straight up and the clasp above the zipper was never sewn on which meant the zipper kept opening. Because she had to work I took the dress back this morning and explained all of the issues to the owner. He started screaming at me calling my daughter a liar and said "everyone makes mistakes." First of all, it is his wife's JOB to alter garments. If you cannot do it correctly, then don't do it! My daughter went to pick the dress up at lunch and tried it on while there. The wife fixed one side but the other side was still way too tight. When she told her she said that she just likes to complain and the dress was fixed. I had to rip the side seem out and sew it back together myself because we had to more time to waste. I would not go back to Flash Cleaners if they were the last business on earth. Owner is nasty, wife is incompetent and they are way over priced for their services.

Unfortunately, I regret choosing this business and ignoring the red flags from the very beginning. From my first visit, the tailor was rude. She told me I needed to bring the shoes I would wear with the dress, so I returned the next day after work with my shoes. Even then, her attitude was unpleasant. She gave abrupt instructions like "put your things here," "don't close the curtain," and "leave the dress over there," which made me feel like she was annoyed and did not want to do the job. Because the wedding was only one week away, I left the dress. When I called a week later to pick it up, I told her I would be there by 5:30. She said she was closing early -- even though their normal closing time is 6:00 PM -- so my husband went instead. He immediately noticed the dress was still very long -- it was dragging on the floor. I had no choice but to fold it at the waist to make it wearable, which was far from ideal. I called her and explained the issue, but she was extremely rude on the phone. I brought the dress back and told her she could take her time fixing it. When I received it again, the back was much shorter than the front, and the stitching was terrible and uneven. What is strange is that the first time, the work itself was fine, which is why I am writing this review. It seems she did not like that I brought the dress back, because instead of properly fixing it, she ruined it -- and I still paid $50. Based on how I was treated from day one. I felt absolutely unwelcome. I will never return and do not recommend this tailor. If you notice any red flags, save yourself the unpleasant experience and go elsewhere.
