The kitchen is open so you are able to see the chef working their magic. The menu is limited, so don't expect a full set of options--believe it's changed quite often. The beef stew was incredible. We would have split one because it was a decent size, but you have to order an entree per person. This is a place to enjoy your meal, so prepare to have a relaxed meal and not be rushed out.

The entire staff then surrounded me like a gang and took turns telling me I was wrong and the problem. I told them that if I had to pay for the food, it should not have been thrown in the trash and I should've kept it as it was my property that I paid for and I should have been informed it would have stayed on the bill. They explained that they were punishing me because they were so offended I didn't like their family recipe and said if i had apologized for not liking the food and admitted i had bad taste they would have given me something else for free. As I sat in the restaurant I noticed there were no French people eating the food. Everyone around me was speaking English, I saw nobody finishing their food. This is clearly a family run tourist trap with a massive ego problem that in my opinion has bad food and overpriced food. They get away with this because old town Nice is a giant tourist trap and new people come in every day never to return again. They don't care how you feel about the food, they just want money and they aren't counting on you returning. You can find better restaurants.
