    Orange, apple, ginger smoothie.
    Kimberly C.

While exploring Place Massena, we stumbled upon So Green. Whenever I have the opportunity to grab a juice, I go for it. Luckily they spoke English. I ordered an orange/apple juice and it cost under 5 euro. It had more of a "blended juice" texture, but I love those so it didn't bother me too much. If juices aren't your thing, they have salads, sandwiches, and other smoothies, and drinks on the menu. We enjoyed the free wifi and drank our beverages in their main (air conditioned) dining area. I loved the ambience of this cafe; reminded me of the typical health juice bars that you would see in NYC. Definitely would return if I was in this area again.

Great meal in France!…read more This was a fantastic first dinner in Nice right off the main drag. We had reservation for 7pm and arrived a few minutes early. We waited a few minutes while they prepped our table and we were seated promptly. The vibe was cool, very French cafe feeling on the streets. The waiters were kind and attentive was you settled in. They patiently answered all our menu questions. We ordered the fois gras (because when in France), the duck and the octopus. All the food was excellent, the fois gras was perfect (although probably wouldn't order it again for ethical reasons). The octopus was absolutely perfect, very very easy to screw up, but they nailed it; every bit melting in our mouths. The duck breast was perfect, juicy and cooked to perfect. All the dishes were served with plenty of accompaniment. Great meal for a great French experience. Would highly recommend.

It happened to be happy hour so I was able to take advantage of some great drink deals. For my dinner, I ordered the duck with vegetables, potatoes, and added a side of ratatouille. It was all very good and the portions were large for the price. The orange sauce was unique and it seemed to have orange peels in it as well. While this might be more of a touristy spot with this location, it was a true French menu, which was my goal. The food and service were very good and I'll come back.

Located on a charming Street in Old Nice called Rue Droite, I felt like I had stepped back into the past when entering this restaurant. It was lovely and welcoming with cozy lighting and several dining areas on multiple levels. We had the salad Niçoise and it was delicious! Waiters were attentive and efficient. I highly recommend this spot if you are fortunate enough to find yourself in Nice!

It was stomach curdling and instantly took away my appetite the flavor was that offensive. I asked my family member to taste it aswell to confirm and she experienced the same taste. I told the manager that I did not like it at all and I would like to order something else. He took the gnocchi and threw it in the trash and was very upset. He told me that the gnocchi was good. I just didn't like it and nothing was wrong and I was the problem. I laughed that off and asked for linguine with pesto, which was extremely bland and completely devoid of any flavor. The staff were very angry at me because I did not like that dish. When I went to pay the bill, I noticed the gnocchi was still on my bill. They refused to remove it from the bill despite throwing it in the trash without my permission. They told me their family had been making the pasta for 100 years and that nothing could be wrong with it. The entire staff then surrounded me like a gang and took turns telling me I was wrong and the problem. I told them that if I had to pay for the food, it should not have been thrown in the trash and I should've kept it as it was my property that I paid for and I should have been informed it would have stayed on the bill. They explained that they were punishing me because they were so offended I didn't like their family recipe and said if i had apologized for not liking the food and admitted i had bad taste they would have given me something else for free. As I sat in the restaurant I noticed there were no French people eating the food. Everyone around me was speaking English, I saw nobody finishing their food. This is clearly a family run tourist trap with a massive ego problem that in my opinion has bad food and overpriced food. They get away with this because old town Nice is a giant tourist trap and new people come in every day never to return again. They don't care how you feel about the food, they just want money and they aren't counting on you returning. You can find better restaurants.

5 stars: my favorite place for lunch/brunch in the city…read more 【In Short】 This place is busy for a reason: they have the best pastries in the area, and they serve a small yet diverse lunch menu, but every single option is delicious. You might wait a bit but it is so worth it. 【Atmosphere and Service】 Nice is my hometown and everyone knows this spot for brunch and lunches. It is located in a lovely and very trendy area with a lot of restaurants around. Deli Bo is a pretty small place but you end up with a decent amount of privacy as the table are well separated and the staff is respecting the Covid social distancing rules. We got lucky enough to be served by the owner himself who told us that he used to be a pastry chef as well. Indeed, the dessert are to die for so keep some space for a small tasting. 【Club Sandwich】 This is a classic dish all over the world and I have seen quite a few of them, from disappointing, to over the top. This one is simply excellent, the portion is perfect, and it has all ingredients you could expect from this classic sandwich: some fresh chicken and bacon, eggs, crispy lettuce, tomatoes, and a generous amount of mayonnaise and mustard, all between perfectly toasted white bread. Simply delicious for a quick lunch. 【Sticky Ribs with Asian Slaw】 This was a surprise. In such a short menu, they manage to offer you some bagels, seared tuna, ceasar salad, truffle pasta, and also some sticky ribs. There is literally a choice for every desire. Those ribs were falling off the bone tender, the glaze was incredible and the asian slaw next to it did not need any seasoning from us. A great original dish. Special mention for the dessert, we did not have time for them this time, but I really recommend the lemon tart, it is to die for. Just stop reading this review and go check it out, you won t regret it

Food is worth the wait, great service -minimal English though, clean bathroom, awning outside for shade. Bon appetit!
