Came for a couple piercings about three months ago. Wasn't planning on leaving a review, however after calling later for some aftercare advice I felt the need to. The initial experience overall was pleasant enough, however after three months my piercings still are red, swollen, pus-y, and painful. I have been using the aftercare treatment I bought from so cal ink religiously still and been very clean and careful, so naturally I was worried about what could have been wrong. After calling the shop, one of the guys gave the phone to Felicity, who then proceeded to tell me it couldn't be infected if I was cleaning it like I was supposed to, and that if it was infected it was my fault! She didn't offer any help or possible causes, remedies, or things I could do differently to improve the situation, just that I was the cause of whatever had gone wrong, which seemed extremely unprofessional. Not only this but then, right after she told me to not call the shop again but instead call or text her personal phone, as if she was trying to hide the issue! This alone made me very uncomfortable, but along with the fact that at the time of my piercing I was offered ten dollars off if I left a positive yelp review, it makes me wonder how many of these 5 stars were motivated by a discount. Overall, I can't speak for tattoos from the shop, but I definitely would NOT recommend coming here for piercings. read more

I cam here to get a piercing last minute. It was a do it now or never moment. Nicki was so kind about the piercing. She was 100% welcoming and patient with my finicky and cry-baby behavior. I was very nervous about my piercing because I had heard the tragus piercing is extremely painful. She did a great job. The only thing is the backing to my piercing got lost. However, I came back the next day, and she applied the next one. Overall, all the employees were exrtremely hospitable. read more

...had GREAT customer service, the owner was very nice & wanted to be as accommodating as possible....posted pixs, Let's just say they were "Close But No Cuban" ...Just wasn't what I wanted and I let them talk me into what THEY wanted, plus one out of the 2 tats I got was put on backwards and my shit is hella faded already...This ain't my first rodeo and I have tats I've had over 20 years that look brand new in comparison to the one I got from them....IDK.... I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY wanted to love their work and make this place my "go to" spot...but it ain't happening....Now, I'm looking for a spot who does great cover-ups. I waited a few months before I decided to write this review, because I wasn't going to write one at all... but every time I look at that tat, I get kind of pissed off....more at myself for letting them talk me into something "like" I wanted, instead of tatting what I ACTUALLY wanted. So 5 Stars for the owner and at least getting one out of the two tats right (even though that too, was compromised a bit about where I wanted to place it originally)...and 2 stars for execution for one tat & 4 stars for 2nd tat.... I guess my situation was a fluke, but unfortunately I won't be going back to find out... C'est la vie! Came in a couple weeks ago to get a super simple tattoo. Sev, the owner, took care of me. I am kind of anal about my tattoos and made Sev re-place the sketch on my arm 3 times (sorry sev haha) but he was very patient with me. I found the staff to be friendly, knowledgeable, and chill dudes. It was my first tattoo and they were helpful and made me feel comfortable. The shop is extremely clean and kid friendly (just be sure you have someone you supervise your human while you're getting inked) his prices were reasonable and shop min is not outrageous. Easily one of the least professional tattoo parlors I have ever visited. A few friends went to get Friday the 13th tattoos since there was a special going on with this parlor. Upon arrival to a very busy and weed-reeking shop, we were told to put a ten dollar deposit down and they would contact us later in the week to schedule an appointment to receive our tattoos since they were so busy. We got a call to come on the following Monday "anytime after 6" and someone would help us out. When we arrived, there was a large group of people just sitting in the front, hanging out in the shop, not artists nor clients. We talked with the woman at the front and she said that they actually didn't have anyone to help us out and to come another day. We asked for our small deposit back since it was clear they weren't going to honor it, and only then were they able to make time for us. It took them THREE HOURS to do two small tattoos with the artist taking a pizza break in between. Upon healing of the tattoo, it was clear that they needed to touch it up, which most parlors will do for free since it was on them. When we called, they wanted us to pay an additional 60 dollar deposit for them just to fix up their mistake. I am so done with dealing with this shop and will NEVER come back. Terrible customer service, and even worse professionalism. Would not recommend. read more

Better late than never......Sev is AWESOME! I've been wanting to get a tattoo of a phrase about a mother's love for a couple years now. It has always in the back of my mind and now with two kids of my own, i thought - what better day to get it than Mother's Day. It also serves as a reminder of all the things my mother used to do for me b4 she passed away 17 years ago. I didn't think it would be hard to find a shop, but apparently a lot of tattoo shops close down for Mother's Day - who knew? And the ones that were open were completely booked. When i called Sev, he told me to come into the shop around 5 pm, which was a little later than i had wanted, but it turns out the shop wasn't even open!
