I had a wonderful session with Janelle, and I'm very excited to go back! I've had some not so great experience with TCM before, but I wanted to give it an other short-- I'm so happy I found Janelle. Like many people, I'm very nervous about needles, but she made me feel totally comfortable. She talked me through everything she was doing, so my worries about something painful or unexpected happening were completely calmed. She has a few different services she offers, and I opted for the clairvoyant acupuncture session, which is an acupuncture session with a (very, very good!) clairvoyant reading done by Janelle as you lay with the pins. Janelle is super intuitive (yet practical) and easy to talk to. I processed all kinds of crap that was going on with me, and everything she said really resonated with me. The reason I pursued acupuncture was for my anxiety, and while there is no overnight cure for anxiety, I really feel like my session with her made a huge difference, and I will certainly be returning. I definitely felt my energy change as she was inserting the pins and while they were in, and when I left, between the clairvoyant reading and the acupuncture, I felt so bolstered. Thank you so much, Janelle! read more

Janelle is amazing! I've had two chart readings with Janelle now, and they've both been fantastic. She listens to what I am trying to make happen in my life and helps me figure out how I can use the tools that are in my birth chart. Because she's so easy to talk to and listens without judgment, her advice and suggestions have always felt well-suited to what works best for me. I've felt motivated to put in the necessary work into moving forward with my life after each session with her (even if the "work" means just putting in time to take care of myself). For example, I recently asked her how I can go about allowing myself to rest without feeling stuck. She reassured me that this was a good time to focus on my well-being rather than working! hard! every! day! as it looks like there could be more activity for me in the summer. I was able to internalize this, and I've made a commitment to go back to physical therapy to work on an old injury that's occasionally kept me from walking. I'm so grateful for her guidance. I'll definitely go back to her again! read more

Clarity. Confirmation. Wonder. These are the first three words that come to mind when I look back on my session with Janelle. I've often read horoscopes and looked into what it meant for me to be a Virgo, but this experience far exceeded my expectations. After embarking on a journey to find and embrace true happiness and purpose, I was looking for reassurance that I was on the right path. After seeing many of her posts on Twitter, I hit her up, she directed me to her page -- the rest is history. Her amiable and bubbly personality made it easier for me to digest the enormous nuggets of truth she was feeding me. No kidding, she touched on everything that I have been dealing with and also provided ways to overcome and embrace them. After my birth chart and clairvoyant reading I know that my life will never be the same. Janelle is a golden soul and the light of the Universe surely radiates through her. I have already recommended her services to many of my friends and will definitely be a regular patron of her business. Thank you so much! read more

A big thanks to Janelle for her rich insights and wisdom. My natal chart astrological reading was right on time, as I was in a space of uncertainty that was consuming much of my mental energy. This reading gave me a deeper understanding of the cosmic energies that were at play, allowing me to find greater peace in dealing with my current challenges and calm within the uncertainty. It also resonated deeply with my own insights regarding my spiritual journey in this earthly plane, and reaffirmed for me the direction that I am taking my career. The audio recording was an unexpected bonus that allowed for further exploration and introspection of the various ideas and concepts we discussed. As a result, it has propelled me deeper into my inner work. I look forward to speaking with Janelle again. read more

Janelle is an incredible, perceptive, funny, compassionate person and I'm happy to have been able to get a few natal chart readings from her. I always feel at ease with her and in turn I believe the readings have benefitted positively from feeling so open and receptive to her words and conversation. It's a very interactive eye-opening time during a reading and days, weeks, months later I've begun to understand things about myself, my past, present, and diligently work on setting a path for my future. I used to misunderstand and be skeptical of astrology until I set up my first session with Janelle. It's very clear that she wants to help people live and realize their best lives, it's really magical. Thank you again and again, Janelle. read more

I came to Janelle after being an avid listener of her co-hosted podcast Stars on Fire. I really resonated with her direct but light-hearted approach to discussing the many different facets of the human experience. I've had both natal chart and solar return readings, and the wisdom and information that she shared within our sessions was immense, energetic and directed through core narratives within my chart. This came at a time when I was grappling with lots of spinning parts. Janelle's insights gave me some deep-rooted context that had previously been missing from my awareness. I would recommend Janelle's approach to anyone who wants to jump straight into their chart, go to the depths and have a laugh along the way! read more

My reading with Janelle went beyond expectations! She was super attentive, thorough and very considerate in reading my chart. She made sure that if I had questions they were answered, and also went into subjects that I didn't expect! She records the session so that you can go back and hear it which is SO helpful! Janelle always made sure she was going at a pace I could follow at. Overall, I feel so much calmer, centered and more sure about my path because of seeing Janelle. She gave me some homework for next steps, and I look forward to seeing her again!! read more

What I loved about working with Janelle is that she talks WITH you instead of AT you. I've gotten readings before where I haven't been able to get in a single question, but Janelle listened and continuously asked if I had any questions or if anything needed to be clarified. She used very easy to understand language to bring the entire thing down to earth and she pointed out things in my natal chart I had never noticed before. My only complaint is that the time moved too quickly! Lol. Looking forward to getting another one for my solar return. read more

It's not often you can find such a genuine person who has such a deep understanding of herself and the gracious ability to see things in others and help guide them. Soabove.com helped me focus on events in my past and gave me insight on how to see certain signs in my present which will help guide me going forward. I look forward to my next session with her and highly recommend her services to anyone looking for insight. Tough love with a calming voice is just what I needed! Thank you so much. Through-out the session I felt very comfortable and felt like we were very much in sync. I left feeling like I had a better understanding of how to move forward with my goals and life plans, and also felt that I was finally able to articulate things about myself that I hadn't previously been able to. I had a natal chart reading with Janelle earlier this month and I will just say that she provided me with a lot of clarity about why my life has gone the way it has to this point. She helped me answer a lot of the questions I've always wondered in life and she gives you the room and understanding to really figure out what your life purpose is and how the people along the way affect that. I will be keeping in contact with her for the rest of my journey on this Earth. Amazing job Janelle! read more

I felt so comfortable talking with Janelle! She is a pleasant person and her intuition is shared so readily, making things accessible and giving clear direction and so much insight. I had a 60 min. natal chart reading with Janelle recently. She pulled up my natal & then progressed chart, and floated seamlessly between the two to walk me through what she was seeing/address my questions. I've never worked with an astrologer who was THAT impressive with the synthesis of info. I also appreciate Janelle's professionalism with the scheduling & reminders; this detail-oriented Virgo moon felt right at home. :) read more

Was lucky enough to snag a deal that Janelle was offering on her website and got such a great reading for a really good price. I truly appreciated the way she talked to me about my chart.
