Ya know it is hard to find a competent pharmacy anywhere and this place does its part to bring down the average. I see in the other reviews that people seam to love "Suzie" they must be shill reviews, that woman is nasty! I switched my prescriptions to here in March all at the same time because I would like them to all be filled at the same time and save extra trips to the pharmacy. That only kind of works as each month I get a text message saying that my prescriptions are ready but when I arrive there is always one or two that are not filled.
In addition to my regular prescriptions, in May after a visit to a orthopedic surgeon I was prescribed pain medication for severe and chronic pain that I have managed to live with for more than a decade. This was filed on May 24th. I am leery of opiates and the bottle sits un opened on my desk.
June first I got the text that my prescriptions where ready to be picked up, I drove to Snyder's and when the Tech asked me to sign for the prescriptions I noticed that two had not been filled. I asked why the Atorvastatin (cholesterol med) and Half dose Aspirin where not filled. The Tech looked in the computer and said that they had been filled on the 24th. I corrected her and said that it was not what I picked up in the 24th and she again said that she was looking right at my signature. The signature for the pain meds from the 24th is what she was looking at and not the ones I was asking about. Suzie then marched over Identified herself as "The Pharmacy Manager!" and told me that I already picked up those prescriptions. I told her that "no I did not!" She then tried to twist the computer screen around to show me my signature knocking items off the desk in the process. Suzie, "The Pharmacy Manager!" accused me of causing trouble before and said she would transfer my prescriptions someplace else. This is all because SHE was miss reading and miss understood what I had asked about and jumped to an assumption that I was trying get more pain pills than I was prescribed.
I tried once more and asked her, " what does that say I picked up on the 24?" She answered "TRAMADOL!!! and once again told me she could transfer my prescriptions, just say where and forgetting the exact words said something about using her pharmacy because I must be shopping around or have had trouble other places.
Up to this point both employees had been accusatory, disrespectful, rude, incompetent and also wrong. They humiliated me at the counter in front of my six-year-old granddaughter who witnessed this as well as any other customers (who would be my neighbors) within ear shot.
I am quite sure that my frustration and impatience must been rising quickly, at no time did I say or do anything disrespectful or out of line with either of them. As calmly as I could muster told Suzie "Pharmacy Manager", that I was not asking for Tramadol, I was asking about my half dose Aspirin and Atorvastatin that where due to be refilled at the same time as the others I was picking up. She went back in to the computer said she would fill them and walked away. A few minutes later the tech returned with an additional bag, asked me sign for it and apologized several times for the misunderstanding. At no time did Suzie "Pharmacy Manager" come back to the window.
But wait, there is more...
I was so in a hurry to get this over I rushed to leave the store and only at home did I realize that the bag only contained the Aspirin. Two days latter I received another text that my Atorvastatin was ready. read more
