The hours are convenient and they are pretty efficient with getting you in and out, even when they are impossibly busy. Our senior dog got really sick a few months ago and began declining. They helped us with that and skipped reaming us with unnecessary extras and tests. We were hoping our girl would pass on easily in her sleep but, she did not. We brought her in for help in the final hours of her transition...I cannot stress enough how kind, and compassionate every person we spoke to that day was. They handled every detail, explained, sat with us, consoled us, then let us stay as long as we needed afterwords. We got calls and cards in the days afterwards too. The accommodations provided are well thought out and well put together. The staff here handled what was a difficult decision, and painful event for us with the highest order of compassion and professionalism. To end on a happy note, Demi thought their daycare/boarding was pretty neat too.

I wish I could say the same for the rest of the office staff. Multiple times I've had issues with an older receptionist behind the desk who is mean and rude. Terrible practice and customer service! Would not recommend this place to anyone

My dog is already diagnosed with hypothyroidism and has been stable on daily Levothyroxine. I specifically requested a routine post-pill Total T4 test when scheduling the appointment a week in advance, and I reiterated this when checking in. From the start, the office was completely disorganized. The staff claimed they never received my dog's medical records, even though I called my previous clinics from the exam room and confirmed they had forwarded them days prior. I waited over an hour in the room with zero services completed. During that time, roughly five different technicians rotated through trying to take my dog back or presenting contradictory care plans. The first plan omitted the thyroid test entirely. While waiting, I could clearly hear Dr. M. S. Zaffer yelling at his staff in the back area. When Dr. Zaffer addressed the thyroid test, he insisted that a Free T4 was mandatory and claimed a Total T4 was inadequate for dosage monitoring, despite our previous veterinarians routinely managing my dog's care with annual Total T4 tests without issue. He became noticeably argumentative and condescending, sarcastically calling me "Doc" and asking how many hypothyroidism cases I had personally dealt with. He then brought me into the back treatment area to push the test on me again, stating he had never experienced this kind of resistance before, and began raising his voice when I held firm. While he eventually conceded and said he would run the Total T4, he returned to the room minutes later holding an old diagnostic record from two years prior, questioning why my dog had a Free T4 run at diagnosis. When I clarified that Free T4 was used during the initial diagnostic phase, Dr. Zaffer abruptly stated it was "best for me to leave," effectively refusing routine care, vaccinations, and basic wellness services because I advocated for standard monitoring lab work. Berating staff, losing control of one's temper, attempting to intimidate clients, and abandoning patient care simply because a client's informed request to continue established care bruised his ego is unacceptable. I strongly advise pet owners to seek care elsewhere.

I've had several situations that made me uncomfortable and ultimately led me to seek care elsewhere. For example, during one visit a vet strongly promoted a product while mentioning their student loan burden. After a surgery, a stitch was left in place; when I brought it up, the way the situation was addressed left me feeling blamed rather than supported. I've also felt pressured toward additional procedures that didn't seem medically necessary for my pet at the time. Lastly, I noticed a big change in my dog's behavior during our visits. She would begin shaking the moment we pulled into the Creekside parking lot. She has never reacted this way at any other vet or location. She's normally a very confident, relaxed dog, so seeing her shake like that was heartbreaking. It was another sign to me that this wasn't the right environment for her. I understand that every clinic has its own approach, but based on my experiences, Creekside is not for me.

Despite having a bad diagnosis for my cat, I felt very educated and heard 100% by the doctor. I never felt rushed, and appreciated his honesty and advice. Side note-They are also extremely reasonable on pricing- for the exam, basic bloodwork(blood sugar test/kidney test), an x-ray and meds was only around $250. Anywhere else around would have easily cost WAY more then that. I HIGHLY recommend this office and they definitely have made a loyal customer out of me.

During the time I waited in the lobby I watched the staff keep their cool in a very stressful situation. They were so incredibly kind to every pet parent who came through the door or called on the phone. They worked diligently the entire time I was there, to make sure every animal was being taken care of and every human was being comforted. My pet spent 2 nights and days at the hospital getting treatment and the staff was so kind every time I called up to check in. They were very understanding and compassionate. The doctor prescribed a mixture of antibiotics and other medications to continue treatment at home and my cat has now made a full recovery, with a clean blood test.

We've had to take our dogs here twice for eating things they aren't supposed to. They are beagles so it's a battle. Once it was chocolate. They induced vomiting, and we went home. He was having very scary symptoms, but they triaged him to a lower level when another dog came in with seizures. We were there around 6-8 hours, and they ended up keeping our pup overnight for observation and to give iv rx. It was really hard to be in the exam room for so long when given no information and worrying if our dog was going to die. I eventually assumed, well I guess he's going to live, if they are letting us sit around in the room this long without seeing the doctor. In the end, they have taken great care of our dogs and have to triage based on the volume and lack of any other hospital nearby. The price they quoted actually ended up being less than expected, and they refunded us money back. It's clear they care about people and pets.
