I saw this company's Facebook ad for pool closings and safety covers and reached out through their link. I provided the "president" with all the information needed to prepare a quote. He told me to email the company and assured me they would take care of me. So I emailed them -- with the exact same information. I was then told I needed to complete an online form and someone would get back to me. So, for the THIRD time, I provided the exact same information. A WEEK went by with absolutely no quote or follow-up. I finally contacted them again and pointed out that it was going to be rather difficult to book their services when they couldn't even manage to provide a quote. The "assistant" told me my request had "slipped through the cracks" and promised she would have the quote to me by the end of the day. She didn't. The following day, I finally received two quotes for the exact same safety cover. Same wording, same description -- but somehow one was $2,976.76 and the other was $3,218.52. Naturally, I asked what the difference was and pointed out that the promised quote was also a day late. Rather than simply answer the question, the owner decided he didn't like my "attitude" and declined my business. Yes, you read that correctly. After making a prospective customer provide the same information three times, ignoring the request for a week, missing the promised deadline, and then sending two apparently identical quotes with a $241.76 price difference, their response to a completely reasonable question was essentially, we don't want your business. That's not customer service. That's a company that apparently has so little interest in earning business that asking questions is enough to get you shown the door. Fortunately, we found a reputable local company that is charging us just over half of what this company quoted and has actually been responsive and professional. So, if you're shopping around for pool services: keep shopping. Based on my experience, there are companies that will actually answer your questions, provide a quote when they say they will, explain their pricing, and -- most importantly -- appreciate having your business. This company clearly doesn't seem to have time for customers. And apparently, they have even less time for reasonable questions.
