Everyone tells me, there is some good food around Guthrie but no Mexican. El Taco Loco never came up in the discussion of places to avoid so when I was driving by El Taco Loco I figured I'd find out for myself. I usually start with street tacos when I'm going to a new truck because if they make a good street taco, at least I have a go to. Very few times have I found somewhere that makes a good street taco and the rest of the food isn't good. We shall see, because these street tacos were superb! I ordered two carnitas and an asada. Total was $6. That's my style!! All were delicious! They came with the usual toppings, along with some grilled onions, peppers and a few sauces. I especially like the green sauce. The tacos were a little greasy, but not in a bad way. Not like the grease was dripping or making the tortillas soggy. Nope, just enough to add that little extra taste. Real food. They have a cool little patio area if you want to eat them there (it's a truck). I ordered mine to go. Service was quick and pleasant. I actually can't wait to go again. My only problem was I didn't order enough!

Also, price was possibly a tad high. $46.90 got me one double onion cheeseburger, one single onion cheeseburger, and two Frito pies.

I do wish they had better salsas -- green was coagulated and red was just super spicy oil. Tacos come piping hot so be careful not to scald yourself. Their lone covered table was shady but kinda dirty, and still super hot. Still, it's a good spot for takeaway tacos. They are open until 3 pm and take cards for a $1 fee.

I almost didn't eat there because of it. The food was okay at best but not enough that I would want to go back. Overpriced & served with a side of rudeness. How you treat your employees says a lot about how you run your business. I'm not at all interested in coming back here due to the harsh environment. So so sad, do better.
