A true salvation for us with all this recent heat and likely to be our go to for shaved ice from now on because of the crazy amount of flavours they have! And ... it got even better when I learned how this place contributes to the community so there are even more reasons to support this business. It's a shaved ice place so there's only so much you can yelp about. I LOVE how the shop is made/repurposed out of a small container. Parking in the vicinity is convenient. This is our favorite snow cone stand in town, for so many reasons. Of course, there are a million flavor combinations (I guess to be technical, the number is actually 234,248. We also love that there is a very a small and very affordable size for kids ($1.50). I always feel a little silly scanning my card for such a small number. But I don't know if most people know this about Sasquatch: It was created to employ the low-income teens of Classen Ten-Penn neighborhood, to empower them to break the cycle of poverty. Excellent + quick service! Perfect treat for this Oklahoma heat -- and you still get to be outside, social distance (have a mask handy!) It wasn't crowded so I didn't have to worry in that area and they have countless options to choose from! The medium is enough for the typical sno cone lovers but they have many sizes to choose from and even a puppy cup for your pups! This is my first time trying but it definitely won't be my last! I like buying stickers for local places and I asked if they sold any and the girl working quickly said no and then didn't offer any help with what to order nor did she ask If I wanted to order anything. This is the absolute cutest place with the best mission. I first heard about this place through Yelp and decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed! From the cute setup to the delightful you g lady working, I was impressed. I ordered a peach with gummy bears and whipped cream-sooooo yummy! After reading about this business and it's mission I have decided to tell everyone about it. I think work with our youth today is so important. I will continue to support Sasquatch Ice! Loved this place! I am a huge fan of frozen treats, slushees, froyo, margaritas but the fav is shaved ice (not snow cone!) Something about the soft powder, the yummy sweet syrup...perfect! Sasquatch has the science down perfect. It may be a small shipping crate but what's inside is magic. It's one big massive ice shaver which they shave ice to order. Then wall to wall of every flavor imaginable. They also have fun combos (you can also make your own combo) of flavors. Ya want sugar free? Check. How about creamy? Toppings? Check. One for you dog? Got it! I also love the business model. They hire young adults and train/teach them about finances and give them a chance. Seriously amazing company and community leadership! I love snow cones! This location is great and the pricing is fantastic. I got a strawberry margarita snow cone and it was delicious. Making snow cones was my first job as a teenager so I always know when they are made correctly! And I am happy to report Sasquatch makes snow cones correctly. I'm such a big fan of this shop! There are so many flavors for any mood. The prices are right on point, and the idea is great. I can't imagine a better use for an old shipping container than a food truck/kiosk. Shaved ice is perfect in the summer, and I love that there's one so close in Plaza. The flavors with fresh squeezed lime juice are so unique, and they keep the sweet treats from being too syrupy. They also have benches available for sitting right out front, or you can take your shaved ice and walk along the street to window shop. The third time was the charm when a third dessert stop made it to Plaza (after Roxy's and Pie Junkie of course). Hopefully this stays a great classic on 16th! read more

My friend and I went to this "business" it's a metal storage unit sitting at the NW corner and around 1:15 pm we knocked on the door and asked if we could get a snow cone and the girl said, with a bit of a snarl on her face "no, we aren't opened until 1:30" and we said all of their websites say they open at 11:30 and she responded with "on the weekends" so we said okay - left until 1:35 and tried to come back and knocked on the door and the same girl is sitting on the counter with her phone in her lap and we asked again if we could get some snow cones and she responded "register isn't working" we asked if we could pay with cash, and she responded, "no, the register isn't working" all while still SITTING ON THE COUNTER. We said okay and left. I can't comment on the food/drink because we couldn't even order one, this business will never grow until you get better employees. read more

i was in okc and it was hot. so i needed some ice to cool down so i yelped my way here this is basically a POD, you know the kind you used to move from apartment to apartment. well they have a unique setup and this pod has the ice machine and all the syrups. its placed on the sidewalk. the person who works inside was nice. they have a bunch of flavors, too many in fact. i got lime and passion fruit, but i think she mixed up the passion fruit part and gave me some mango. oh well. it was still good. the main gripe i had with was the ice itself couldve been shaved finer. there were still some crystals in it which i didnt like . the price is ok, there is plenty of free parking in the lot next door to the movie theater overall, i think they have a good product in an unusual place of business. if they improved the ice machine , it would be even better read more

Here's a fun sno cone stand with a great purpose. Their sno cones are completely up to par with modern sno cone standards (which is a long way of saying they have good shaved ice). The ONLY thing I could caution anyone about are their natural lime juice flavors. This should go without saying, but those sons of guns are very very tart. However, the special little touch I like about this place is that they don't leave your four-legged friend behind! We were just going to order our dog an unflavored shaved ice but it turns out they have a pupcone! You get the choice of beef or chicken flavor and it comes topped with a milkbone. My friend found this place and I was super excited. I really like shaved ice and it is awesome what this company is doing for the youth of our city. They have so many options and four different sizes. Everything is very reasonable and has a flavor for everyone. Definitely great on a hot day. I ordered the rainbow in honor of Pride weekend and they did a good job. Sometimes with shaved ice they don't put enough syrup but these workers did a great job.
