If you're a vegan or vegetarian they have grilled asparagus and grilled zucchini (YUM) and also bacon stuffed mushrooms which are dangerously addictive. but my FAVORITE thing they have are the pork tacos!! Now that's something I can not NOT taco bout. Those things will have me planning my schedule around the food trucks. One time I took home 15 order of tacos (2 tacos come in 1 order) just so everyone I know would understand my obsession. The owners are very nice and won't hesitate to have a conversation with you. Waffles made fresh at order, topped with a dizzying selection of fruits & sauces, or even just plain for all you vanilla types (like me). Make yours a breakfast platter if you wish, heaping some eggs and other proteins alongside your waffle, and when paired with their fresh coffee, you are the new Sheriff of Flavortown. The service can't be beat. Aside from the friendly suggestions for rookies (we're easy to spot), the food comes fast and fresh and your coffee cup never finds a bottom. Shoutout to Angel who steered the boy towards the Strawberry Cheese Cake waffle, all of which he destroyed in about three bites. I opted for a plain ol' waffle so I could take their syrups for a spin and that was a smart play. If you've had 'pancake syrup' and then stepped up to pure maple syrup, then you know there is no going back. Toss in their cinnamon-vanilla syrup (drool) or their silky-sweet 'Waffle Sauce' (it's almost like a thinner frosting) and you can divide a waffle into separate quadrants of different tastes. Pricing is pretty reasonable but the value outpaces the price point. Eat inside if you wish or, Oklahoma weather permitting, find a spot just out front. Everyone tells me, there is some good food around Guthrie but no Mexican. El Taco Loco never came up in the discussion of places to avoid so when I was driving by El Taco Loco I figured I'd find out for myself. I usually start with street tacos when I'm going to a new truck because if they make a good street taco, at least I have a go to. Very few times have I found somewhere that makes a good street taco and the rest of the food isn't good. We shall see, because these street tacos were superb! I ordered two carnitas and an asada. Total was $6. That's my style!! All were delicious! They came with the usual toppings, along with some grilled onions, peppers and a few sauces. I especially like the green sauce. The tacos were a little greasy, but not in a bad way. Not like the grease was dripping or making the tortillas soggy. Nope, just enough to add that little extra taste. Real food. They have a cool little patio area if you want to eat them there (it's a truck). I ordered mine to go. Service was quick and pleasant. I actually can't wait to go again. My only problem was I didn't order enough!
