The quality of snow cones hands down are superior to any place in town and superior service by Nathan and staff given to every the customer since we started going as a kindergartener, first grade and 1.5 years old almost 4 years. now. Nextdoor is a remodeled home turned into offices that holds great sentimental value to many long time residents. Wilson and Juanita Pickard were/are respected pillars in Ovilla...minus the parking lot and traffic volumes on water street - he would love what this place has become in their place for community. Sno cone's here are the best! They come with a little cream on top and a sour patch kid so be sure to tell them you don't want it if it's not your thing. But here's the kicker... I saw a chicken sign there and noticed they added chicken tenders to the menu! Had to try them but wasn't expecting much since it's a sno cone shop... however, they were DELICIOUS and huge! I want to say I tasted garlic salt. The fries were good too maybe a tad bit too much salt but still really good. Definitely worth a try! read more

Still trying to frequent this establishment every couple of weeks but have found it to be harder to do so in the last three months. Not sure what has changed (ownership, management?) but their posted hours (onsite and online) are kinda like suggestions ... do not be fooled into thinking they they will be open or willing to serve you during their established hours. In the last three months: 1). Have arrived 20 minutes after opening time on two occasions. Once they were not open nor was anyone onsite. Once they advised that their "grill" didn't open until one hour after the business opened! 2). Posted closing hours of 9pm ...: Have arrived at 8:30pm, 8:15pm, 8pm and last night (Saturday 10-21-23) at 7:41pm and have been advise their grill was closed. Last night at 7:41pm (while viewing the posted closing hours on window of 9pm) I was told they close the grills one hour earlier. I politely pointed out that it was 1hour and 19 minutes until closing time. I received the "deer in the headlights" stare! So once again I got back in the vehicle and returned home without the great Chicago dogs or grilled cheese sandwiches my family had wanted. Summary: Every business has the right to be open and closed when they chose. My suggestion here is to simply establish those hours and communicate what that in an appropriate manner. If you chose to close the grill one hour prior to the posted hours ... great ... simply place that information where you place your operating hours! In this case online and on the ordering window. And then adhere to the hours you establish or if you find that doesn't work for your staff or such - make the necessary changes to the hours and update your communication of those hours. When able to enjoy their food, it has always been good. Their outdoor seating and play area is always good and well thought out. I really like this place, but having been turned away six (6) times for their grilled food in a period of three (3) months, while attempting to order and pay them, is disappointing and discouraging to say the least. Not sure when the next time I will "roll the dice" to chose to visit, but obviously unless something changes on their end, it will need to be two hours after they are open or two hours before they close. read more

Literally just left! The was one staff member who was extremely nice, he greeted us as soon as we got out the car. (He even brought our sno cones back to the car) As we approached the front to order, it was swarmed with bee's and I had my newborn in my hand. I got uncomfortable and stood off the side & kinda shouted my order to the lady working in front... as he saw me getting nervous he came over to take my payment and told me it's okay to wait in the car. As he was doing so, the lady in the front yelled out "MAKE SURE THEY PAY" as if i was going to run off on a 3dollar snocone. That rubbed me the wrong way, and I won't be returning. Overall, the snocone wasn't as good. They had good ice but the flavor of it was pretty mid. I had blueberry & green apple. Won't return. read more

The snow cones are amazing! You never get so much cream when you order cream at other snow cone places. The ice is also super soft. The playground area is also amazing and super safe for any little ones that want to run around. read more

My family and I were really thankful we found this place. The little snow cone stand is so cute and they made the snow cones unique by putting a little cream with a gummy bear on top. It was something really simple but still made it fun for the kids. What really impressed me was the cool play area for the kiddos. It was a great way for them to burn off the sugar high from the snow cones! Will definitely be back! read more
