This review is not for Foust Photo Graphics but rather for Picture Me Studios, one of the other…read moreretail photography studios listed under Foust Photo Graphics. Foust is GREAT, that is why you can find them here but you can't find the below mentioned studios. Both Sears Portrait Studios & Picture Me Studios, are owned & operated by CPI Corporation, headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri. This company promises their employees a commission of 10% of their sales of $110 or higher, but it NEVER materializes. If sitting goals and sales goals are not met, they DO NOT get the commission they worked so hard for. Where does that money go? Check Corporate's pockets. They also tell their employees to quote the TOP Collection first because that almost guarantees the studio a sale of at least an overpriced Silver Collection...therefore making a sale of over $110 and giving the associate a commission of 10%, which they never see. When employees express an interest in moving up within the company, they seldom if ever, are given the promotion. Employees are used to the point that they either walk off the job or they are "separated" from the company using false allegations. This is a very common method used to get rid of their employees. Here is one way that you can save money if you choose to continue using either of these two studios or Kiddie Candids, also owned by CPI. You could pay as little as $10 a sheet if you go WITHOUT enhancements. You could always purchase just the A/O or Advertised Offer for $7.99 and wait for the telephone outreach calls at the end of every period, where you will be offered a CD of the entire session, including your enhanced portraits, for roughly $30-$40. This will also include full copyright release of the portraits. Also, the advertised Offer is just the company's way of luring you into the studio here are the three main catches. First: 16 of your "over 30 portraits", are 16 1x1 minis that you usually throw in some drawer or in the trash. Second: $7.99 is for 1 SUBJECT ONLY! It will be $12.99 for anything over 1 subject! Third: This price DOES NOT include ANY enhancements! You also have an opportunity to purchase 4 extra sheets, you will hear them called "Editor's Bonus'" for $20. Keep this in mind when you are ordering your portraits. If your purchase just the A/O for $7.99 and then purchase the 4 bonus sheets, your total purchase will be under $30 before tax. The bonus sheets will have at least 2 enhanced sheets and give you from 12-14 more portraits on top of your A/O purchase. You can also purchase any of the framed specialties, UNFRAMED, even UNMOUNTED! Ask about the collections WITHOUT A CD, WITHOUT collages, these are "Add-Ons" to increase the sales price and to make the studio look better in the numbers race! Also, if you purchase a collection, the associate has been trained to also talk you into "adding" the A/O to your order, to again, raise the sale! There are many other "tricks" used at the sales table so before having portraits done, sit done and figure exactly who you would like to give your portraits to, including what sizes you want them to have. This will help you when you are ready to make your purchase and keep you from buying more than you really need.

Horrible company. Bought something from their online retail store, and it was a nightmare. First…read morethey took forever to ship out my product. The product they sent me was the wrong one, I returned it (they wanted me to pay for the return shipping costs. After arguing, I got them to send a ups claim ticket), they then took forever to send out the correct one. Except, for a second time, they sent the wrong product. Then they admitted they didn't have the product. Again, they wanted me to pay for return shipping. I demanded my money back and for them to send a claim ticket if they wanted their stuff back. This whole process took over 3 months to deal with them. They were very unhelpful on the phone, and all sounded like they just woke up from a long nap and you were bothering them. Horrible.

An absolute dream of a camera store. Whether you're a seasoned photography veteran, just coming…read moreinto the hobby, or even just find this stuff cool to look at, this is the place for you. Jam packed with various equipment and supplies, I recently stopped by as this was the only store in the area (with a wide radius set) that even carried super 8 film. With that I also expected them to potentially only have one stock, but instead they had all the options, and even better at very reasonable prices (quite literally no price hike, gouging, anything, was the same as if I had ordered online). So suffice it to say the prices were very fair The staff were friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. A solid stop for all your camera needs, or even just if you want to browse, I would highly recommend and will absolutely be returning.

This is my go-to camera store, even though the 'going' is about an hour each way. The staff is…read morealways helpful and doesn't try to upsell at every turn. I recently brought a friend in to get her first 'real' camera and again, the staff made sensible suggestions and she left with a great camera while paying less than she had feared it might cost. We were both very happy with the experience, which is what I have come to expect from this store.
