I WAS until…read morenow her patient , but by the last incident at her office when I called with a persistent bronchitis that has been plaguing me for over 5 weeks , the earlier appointment they had for me was June 21st! This is the kind of return that you get at this office : a no return at all. Then when you finally talk outraged with her Dakota puppy nurse and get to be finally seen 4 days after , Doctor Byrd prescribes you an inhaler that is nowhere to be found and bought. I call the office and try to get an alternative prescription , but there is no one at the office on Fridays that can get you an alternative prescription ! Today is Thursday! No one has called me, not Dr. Byrd, not Dakota puppy , no staff member, no pharmacy! Fortunately I was able to schedule a videochat with our insurance doctor, who without have ever seen me, knew my history , the drugs I was given in the past 5 weeks and an alternative prescription for the inhaler Dr Byrd prescribed me! This won't end here! I will report this office to the justice and to my insurance! This place need to be SHUT DOWN! If you are reading this, do yourself a favor , go anywhere else BUT here! I recently switch to their cardiology service. They offer doctors, stress test and echo-cardiogram services all on site. I met with the cardiologist Dr Saraiya on two occasions. Fast forward to my first encounter with Dr. Byrd - the most unprofessional physician visit I've ever encountered. It was interesting because I agreed to have the intern/student observe the exam as she attempted to accurately diagnose, and it was very disheartening to see Dr. Byrd exhibit this immature behavior in an educational setting. Dr. Byrd did not effectively diagnose, address the issue at hand, nor recognized concerns mentioned based on contradicting business practices. Unfortunately, after several decades of practical experience, Dr. Byrd has some soft skills to further develop, possibly patient/Dr. communication, interoffice communication, empathy, humility, emotional awareness, problem-solving, and demonstrating diplomacy when faced with conflicting medical assessments, etc... And possibly, just maybe - separate personal issues/unconscious bias from patient treatment/care. Her one 'bad day' left her with one less patient/customer. I'll gladly go back to any of the larger practices I've frequented based off of this horrible experience with Dr. Byrd. They may not be as abundantly welcoming and friendly as other offices I've been in, but I'd attribute that to them simply being busy. However, we absolutely love Jill and would follow her if she ever went to another practice. She's friendly and easy to talk to about your health. You can tell that she is really listening attentively and cares about your well-being. I'm extremely needle-phobic and tend to procrastinate on blood work, and I struggle with weight loss. Even with those issues, Jill is compassionate and never makes you feel bad about any issues you are facing. She gives medical advice without lecturing or belittling, and she's even patient when you come in with internet research to discuss ;-)

Needless to say, I was highly upset as the sample I provided came from my body and the nurse who took my sample did not have an issue with it prior to allowing me to leave the facility; and how can a rude nurse who wasn't even involved with my testing session, come and judge the temperature of my leftover sample after I had left the premises... One word...Incompetence. I will never go to this facility on my own accord.
