Looking at how delicious they were, I asked where they got this from. They pointed me to the corner and I went in with my niece. The space is rather small, but you don't really need to sit in the store to enjoy the amazing food. They have curated list of items or you can build your own. My niece wanted specific colors, so we opted for build your own style. We got mango ice cream at the bottom with strawberry and cotton candy syrup, topped with mochi and condensed milk. The shaved ice itself was finely grounded and easy to scoop. I didn't have any chunks of ice that made eating this unbearable. The syrups were delicious and sweet and worked well together. The condensed milk tied it all together and the mochi added a nice texture touch. The mango ice cream was also delicious. Overall, a very reasonably priced dessert. I look forward to coming back again.

Whilst you fill up your water bottles you can also fill up your sweet tooth this place is for you. It's ran by a couple and then some who like to bring their Hawaiian inspired business to San Jose without the flight to Hawaii. The service is a fun experience for me because the owners are always nice and don't make me feel uncomfortable or anxious about anything that I want to buy and they make my experience so fluid that it's easy to get in and get out. The ambiance is wild whilst being able to see people who are cheerful and they're not just polite to new customers but also to their regulars. So if you're looking for something special for dessert or some water places to fill your bottles up come through and pick up some snow cones while you wait for your water gallon bottles. Whoever thought of combining a filtered water store with shave ice is a GENIUS. And among its…read more"Hawaiian shave ice" competitors in the area, Aloha wins hands down for authenticity (source: me, a kama`aina transplant to the Bay). The flavor options here are comparable to what you'd find back home, the sweetness of the syrup is just right and not too saccharine, the ice texture isn't too rough (which is where a lot of places go wrong), and best of all, the no-frills vibe of the store combined with the old-school letterboard-style menu behind the counter carry all the trappings of the classic, legit Hawaiian shave ice shop! A rare find outside of the islands indeed. And of course, we grab my ohana's filtered water here 3 jugs at a time, since San Jose's water is hard AF. The prices are affordable all around. I haven't tried the coffee here, but I have tried the halo halo (owners are Filipino) and it definitely hits the spot without having to drive to east side or Milpitas. Finally, if you need any Hawaiian-themed knick knacks to gift or for yourself, they carry quite a few random items like lunch bag totes, silk and kukui nut lei, and swap meet-quality Aloha shirts. Mahalo nui!

I only tried a single pecan popsicle from this place, so I guess my review will be slightly…read morelimited. I came here on a cold day at the urging of a certain popsicle fanatic. The store is located in a strip mall near lots of taquerias, which to be honest I was more in the mood for (but sadly didn't get to go to). There's a lot of parking but the neighborhood certainly isn't upscale. Inside the store is like an explosion of colorful AI-generated fruits and desserts. It's bright, colorful, not quite eye searing but definitely eye-popping. I don't think I know any other stores that look like this. It's also extremely clean, almost sterile. I was here around 11 AM on a Sunday so maybe I was the first customer, I don't know. But it looked like it had just opened for business even though that's obviously not the case. They have a large selection of desserts here, not just popsicles, but we were here for popsicles so that's what we got. My dining companion got a strawberry milk popsicle and I got the aforementioned pecan popsicle. Judging by the speed at which the strawberry popsicle was consumed, it must have been good. My popsicle was not too sweet but did have a nice pecan-y flavor as well as many chunks of pecan halves. The texture was good, very smooth without any ice crystals. And it was served at the right temperature, not so cold it was impossible to eat, but not so warm it fell off the stick. The single person working here was very nice and quickly served us and gave us our popsicles. They nicely don't even ask for a tip, because the popsicles are already made and in plastic so it's not like you're getting any additional attention or work when eating them. I would say the popsicles are on the biggie side, like the equivalent of 1-2 scoops of ice cream. One is definitely enough, eating 2 would make you look a little gluttonous. I'll definitely return to try more flavors.

The text on the wall looked blurry and felt overwhelming. Thankfully they had a small paper menu on the counter, though it was limited than the display on the walls. The women taking our order was very soft spoken. She also had her mask on and the music was on full blast. She also struggled with English and wasn't able to clearly explain what items were what and what ingredients were inside. But we ended up ordering the strawberry con Fresca and the fried banana split. When she went to ring us up and we were about to tap our card, she walked off to the back. We were so confused and were standing there for about 5 minutes until she came back out and finally took our payment. After receiving our order, I noticed that mines had a lot of coconut shavings, which I am not a fan at all. But with that being said, the fried banana was amazing, and the strawberry ice was delicious. Overall nice experience but I can find a similar place on the East side of San Jose.

My sister and I tried their red velvet waffle-- this also has chocolate chips in it. If you like red velvet and waffles, you'll like it just fine. You just dont like red velvet waffles if you dont like it and that's fine too. I got the wintermelon milk tea which tastes similar to other milk teas so a simple/easy pick. My sister got the mint chocolate shake which I would say is on the watery side? Not necessarily bad, but the texture was not what you would expect of a shake. I would not order that again unless I specifically wanted that taste. There is an outlet along one wall beside one two-seater table, so I would not bank on being able to get access to one here if that's what you'd like. Prices as follows excluding tax: wintermelon milk tea: $6.25, red velvet waffle: $6.75, mint chocolate shake: $7.25 The place is good, prices are along other locations and seating is plentiful.

So for your drinks to look "full", 3 toppings would need to be enough to suffice, subjectively. With 1 person working the shop and handling the drinks, we didn't wait very long to receive our order, which was great. Roomy place for a hang out or to just grab a drink and go. I do enjoy the kiosk go order (card only) in addition to ordering with a person (accepts card or cash). Super Vietnamese inspired (and known to be own by Vietnamese) from their pandan flavors and snack, but also very deliciously sounding drinks with flavor mixes that I oh so wanted to try as well :') but alas, it will have to wait until next time.
