I was a patient there after tearing my hamstring off the bone. While the building was old, the staff caring for me was AMAZING! One of the CNAs even stayed after her shift, without pay, to care for me when i needed a little extra TLC. The nurses all were caring, competent, and genuinely interested in my well being. The care at this facility is horrible!! There is no communication or coordination of care. The food is unidentifiable most of the time, and served at unsafe temperatures. Little to no choice in selecting meals. Medication errors. Shower smells like urine. Short staffed and late night assistance is almost nonexistent. Response time for help was in excess of 2 hours frequently. This place needs to be closed down. read more

This place is absolutely awful. Not only did they treat my friend completely unethically they didn't attend to his needs what so ever. When someone tells you they need to use the bathroom you help them to the bathroom you do not tell them to go in their diaper that's completely unprofessional degrading and that's to say the least. He was completely miserable the entire time he was there and every time I got a phone call they were just so rude. I don't recommend this place to anyone and if I could give it zero Stars I would. Just WOW. I have been there multiple times now visiting family. The horrible staff is shockingly horrible. Julie should straight up be fired. Between incompetence to illegal paperwork filling, she is not a social worker that has any patient benefits in mind. I'm pretty sure she's doing illegal things. I would avoid this facility at all costs because the cost could be huge. Between people receiving incorrect medication, to people being left with their toes bleeding in bed, ti people filling out paperwork incorrectly, this place should be shut down and significantly looked at by adult prospective services. read more

The best gift you can give your loved ones is get them far away from this place, My dad suffered a horrible fall at this facility and they did nothing for him, I removed him and rushed him to the hospital only to find out his elbow was so severely broken that the bone was separated from the tendons, also his hip was broken, and he had gangrene in his toes, he had awful bedsores, the neglect at this place is horrendous, the office staff covers the call light panel and will not respond than they get snippy with you, when you go looking for help. I was threatened to bring him back or they would call the police. Her primary care advised that she was capable of just doing Physical therapy at home & and should never have been sent to a rehab center. The social worker never answered her phone & would never call me back. Trying to get my mom discharged from this place was like a hostage negotiation. It's so frustrating. Stay away from this place at all costs. The CEO (Zak) thinks he is God. The aides are nice enough, but that is where I draw my line. Zak is a two-faced liar and thief. All they care about is the money they can scam from the insurance companies. Documentation was non-existent until they were called out on it and then only went back two days (after being there two weeks). Trying to say that patients are not cognitively able to make decisions about themselves when they are totally present and carry on in-depth discussions. The care is horrible. When Zak gets in the face of a family member during an argument and chest bumps him is totally inappropriate. This person was also just out of surgery and had his arm in a sling. Zak didn't care. Trying to get my family member out of there was like trying to break them out of prison. Went in trying to get a medical POA. They wouldn't do it, so we took my family member out and went somewhere else to get it done. Came back and Zak said that it didn't mean a thing, that it was probably fake, just printed off of the internet. It took calling the police to start the process of getting them out. Zak even argued with the police and fire department. All he cares about is the money, has no compassion for the patients. The food also looks like garbage. I wouldn't feed my dogs with it. There is way too much bad to list it all here. I wouldn't give it 1 star if I didn't have to. Don't go there and if you have a family member there, get them out if you can. Hope they shut this sh*thole down for the sake of the patients. read more

My mother was sent to this place from the hospital where she was being taken care of after suffering a stroke. Right from the beginning they demonstrated that they were both unable and unwilling to take care of her. We had to ask them repeatedly to make sure the call bell button was within reach and yet every morning when we'd arrive it was either on the floor or pinned out of reach of her. She was frequently in pain when we arrived because no one working over night could be bothered to help her. She was only bathed once. The staff were constantly rude. They admitted to us that they were understaffed, yet continued to accept more patients. When the day finally came for my mom to leave and get transferred to a better facility the head nurse was openly belligerent to both my mother and my family. We will be contacting every applicable state agency to make sure this place is shut down. I have attached pictures that we took we when we arrived in the mornings and found the call bell out of reach in clear violation of patient rights. read more

PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE Yesterday was the fifth anniversary of the passing of my father, Albert Henken Jr. Not a day goes by that I do not miss him. And not a day goes by that I do not blame Snohomish Rehabilitation Center for hastening his death. So, why didn't I sue them? I could not afford to. I only ask that you please, please reconsider before sending your mom or dad into this facility. They will say they have "changed leadership, changed help, changed protocol..." From the emails and messages I have received, that would be a lie. Do not let them threaten you by saying they will throw your loved one out on the curb Do not let them put off calling in hospice when it is time -and you do have a choice of which local hospice is used... They make less money from hospice than they do from insurance, from you or your loved one...and they do not care for the additional oversite...hmmm...I wonder why not? Do not let them manipulate you into trying to convince you to sign something that puts you into a financial responsibility you should not be put in by saying "oh...it's just this little form...the government...you know..." Do not let them have the only say in dealing with the insurance companies, they lied to Blue Cross and to me Be braver than I was...I am still waiting on my father's records which included questions from Hospice which sent the file to the coroner's office...better yet, especially in these times, pick a different place. read more

If I could give 0 Stars I would. There were some very good people there during my stay but NOT the doctor or head nurse My rehab time there was horrific. Please do your research before sending someone here. Make sure your loved one can communicate in some way regarding their care. Keep good notes, records. Journal everything. Ask questions. Be pro active for your loved one or yourself. Take photos. Listen to other residents there. They probably want to express their frustrations but are reluctant to do so. I have a family member at Snohomish Health and Rehab. I originally was somewhat unsure about the facility as this is not the first one my relative has been in. The facility is clean and secure. Food appears to be decent. The staff is good overall except for my preferred nurse Rose w. This one nurse appears to know more about healthcare than all the other staff members combined. Not that the other staff members are bad but honestly they come nowhere even close to the level of knowledge of Rose w. Im really not sure why she isn't in charge of the place but I digress. Do I recommend this faculty yes. Overall I give it a 94.7. Helpful hint make sure Rose W. is still working there before you decide. read more

What a change! This place went under new management and it is great. The nurses are extremely knowledge and the rehab is spot on. The doctors and ARNPs are always available for emergencies and overall questions you have about your family member. I think what impressed me the most is the family vibe the place has the staff works as a team. My suggestion is go see for yourself and take a tour don't judge on old reviews of this place the new team is making positive changes with more staff, higher quality of care, it's cleaner, there is a beautiful courtyard for the residents and the flowers and landscaping around the building are beautiful read more

We have had our sister at this care center for many years now. She is treated with special care and consideration. We have been thankful for the staff and their kindness to her. We have not seen any abusiveness or neglect in her treatment. On the contrary we have observed several of the staff go out of their way to make her feel at home. read more

This use to be merry haven a couple of years ago and we were hesitant to go there because it didn't have the best reviews BUT it has gone through a lot of changes and has new management. There is a lot I want to say about this place first being the changes it has undergone have all been for the better the rehabilitation is top notch and the staff is very caring and supportive. My mother in law was there for a while after surgery that had complications it was a stressful time we didn't know how things would go but the nursing staff was great. There are a few nurses who went out of their way to help my MIL adjust and made her comfortable. Lauralie, Cheechi stand out the most they were amazing. Lauralie sat down and took the time to explain everything on the day we arrived she answered all our questions and was helpful in explaining medications and what to expect over the course of recovery. The staff never acted like we were bothering them when we had questions or concerns which was a nice change from what we had experienced while at the hospital. My MIL loved the food and activities that were provided through out the day. They had lots to do with so many options. The medical staff was always available and helpful also one of the Doctors (Michelle ) was very caring and took the time to sit down with my MIL and actually talk to her and explain things when she was having a hard time with how long her recovery was taking. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who needs to find a rehabilitation place after surgery. If you have any doubts go take a tour of the place and see for yourself and meet the staff! read more
