The woman that answered said that she would try to get ahold of a vet and call me back. Over two hours later with still no reply, I called back. Based on the apathy and indifference in the receptionist's voice, there was no indication she would have called me back. After reminding her, I had been waiting on a callback, she tried to get off the phone quickly after telling me All Creatures only services clients within a 30 mile radius. This is information I should have been provided when I called at 11:30. I pointed out that this was unprofessional service, and I received a dead fish "I'm sorry." Sorry my a**. A call or text would have sufficed. Don't tell ppl you'll call back when their pet is convulsing and foaming at the mouth. I sure hope the residents of Mt. Home receive better care than people calling from Mt. View. This is a joke of a title. I hope if anyone calls in the future that you get better care and faster service than I did. I also hope the woman that told me she would call me back gets training on how to actually call people back when frantic pet owners call an emergency veterinary hospital. Telling me at 11:30 that this hospital can't see my dog would not have pissed me off. It would have provided an answer. Making ppl wait for over two hours when you said you would call pisses me off and is all just beyond awful and lazy service.

Our dog is large - 129 pounds as of Tuesday. He is also uncooperative in Veterinarian offices,…read morewhere he gets a little snappy and defensive. As he is a rescue we don't know all his history that might explain his behavior, but have learned that blood draws require sedation. Baxter County Animal Clinic was the sixth vet's office we have visited, and by far the best experience we have had. They understood his reluctance, and, rather than get him all worked up, sedated him, first inter-muscularly, and then into a vein. Blood drawn with little drama, and, after an extended recovery period where we never felt rushed to get him out of the office, Cinco was on his way home. Compassionate, smart care. So glad this clinic was suggested to us, and happy that our not-so-little troublemaker has vets that "get" him. Extremely reasonably priced was a bonus. Highly recommend this clinic.

First off...Dr Shed hit my puppy with the door not once but TWICE as she entered the exam room…read more (The rooms are super small..so maybe they should change the doors to open out instead of in) I'm sure this happens to everyone that visits this clinic. I also had my black and tan coonhound with me to have her anal glands expressed. I wanted to be taught so I could do it at home. her response "I have yet to see a pet owner become successful at it, plus it's pretty gross." (lady, get off your high horse and stop being so darn presumptuous) She has no idea who I am, what my experiences are, and what I'm capable of handling! Her assistant also pulled on my coonhounds leash, choked her, and even tried dragging her.. this is completely unacceptable! I yanked the leash from her hand and was appalled that I had to tell her not to do what she was doing. Back to my puppy: She gave him his last puppy combo vaccine and his first rabies shot.. SHE MADE HIM WHIMPER AND CRY OUT BOTH TIMES!! He's never felt discomfort or made a peep with his other rounds of shots! Mind you, she labeled the combo vaccine "the parvo shot," and I corrected her, and she popped back with "simplified" (this isn't a simple thing. I need to know you are giving my fur baby the proper vaccines.. this is supposed to be his last round of combination puppy shots. Your clients deserve to know in detail what they and their pets are getting.. not your "simplified" lazy& abbreviated version) She, right off the bat, insulted me and my puppy by saying she didn't understand the whole doodle craze, and why couldn't people just leave it at standard poodles like HER dog. (REALLY?! this is how you start your relationship with a NEW client?) She then proceeded to ask me if I planned on keeping my male puppy intact and I said possibly..bc he's such a rare color and exceptional breed (whoodle) his stud fee can range from 1k to 2k. She offered unsolicited advice..."Well, you better make sure the dogs are all health tested for burcellosis (stds), etc. I told her my dog came from a VERY reputable breeder (not from this area), and she would be arranging the pairings with healthy potential breeders that are most definitely health tested, including burcellosis. She said not to count on the breeder doing that testing bc SHE highly doubted they did. That most didn't (AT THIS POINT I AM HAVING TROUBLE NOT GOING OFF ON HER.. BUT HAVE DECIDED WE WILL NEVER DARKEN THIS VETS DOOR AGAIN AND WE NEED TO MAKE A VERY QUICK EXIT) she gave me a hard time about my other dogs records that weren't transferred over completely.. and kept trying to push for an exam, but I declined several times... I decided to make this horrific experience known publicly so others can make an informed decision on bringing their beloved pets to the likes of her. Dr. Shed, you have no bedside manner. You are rude, condescending, presumptuous, and overall, a toxic human being that will never see me or my angel fur babies again.

We never had a chance to speak with her directly since putting our dog to sleep. Any info she has is not directly from me, but rather what she was told from her manager and tech. The day I received my ashes back and after no calls being returned from Judy's I did say I should make a website to explain to the area that Judy's did us wrong. I also said I would file a complaint with the BBB too. Again, against Judy's for not returning all my dogs ashes. The day we spoke with the manager and was told we at least have some of our dog back and after she would not entertain any possible change in who they use for cremations I said I would write a yelp to explain this situation. I do not do things without first trying to fix the issues and the person being reviewed know it's coming first. As far as "picketing" the clinic, I did say I should park across the street and picket. Yes I did say that after I learned we were cancelled and my dog was suffering from red bumps on his anus. Also after breaking down in tears on the phone begging to be seen. I have no idea what months of problems are. I guess if you count the two months between losing one dog and needing medical attention for the other. In those two months we were allowed to come in and buy flea meds and heart worm meds. Who would have thought we were not allowed back? Attached is the letter I received. Just for transparency. I guess this ends my review and story with these folks. I hope this helps anyone avoid this grief when losing a loved one. I will always say Dr Niess is a great vet, medically wise. The staff is nice. Just don't complain about something so serious as this or you will be cancelled.

This is…read moreafter trying out two other vets and wanting to come in to a hospital for some imaging or colonoscopy to get a visual look at my dogs GI tract. The vet, Dr. Smith, heard our story, looked at a picture of my dogs stool and seemed a bit off and asked why didn't any other vet give us meds for our dog and said it was obvious colitis. After he offered meds he then stated he is the owner of Animal Health Center. That was my dogs old vet until they cancelled us due to a review and the truth about Judy's Crematory services we had problems with after putting my service dog to sleep. He said because of my complaints we are not welcome there either. He did however at least give us the meds our dog needed. He said since I had been to two vets and was still looking for another vet service to help diagnose my dog I would be a problem. Is it wrong to go to a hospital to see about advanced imaging? He gave meds we didn't get elsewhere but held it against me that I kept trying for my dog. Sorry I care about my dog and will fight and pay to get him whatever care he needs. I tried to give our side of the story, he didn't want to hear it. He stated vets are busy and don't have the time to deal with issue like mine. Maybe just people like me? Actually made a veiled threat about how he isn't as nice as Dr Niess. A few times at that. I honestly think if he wasn't talking to a 300 lb 6'1" man he would have been more of an ass / bully. My wife noticed his attitude so it wasn't just me. She said she felt threatened by the way he stared her down more than once while clenching the desk so hard his knuckles turned white. The lady from SF that reviewed him was probably right. Actually had the owner of the vet office face to face and he had zero interest in the problem with my dogs ashes being less than half of the proper amount. Said they use Judy's for years. I guess that makes her honest and professional despite the evidence against that. Amazed but not surprised.

Please think twice if you have a small dog. I have boarded my large dogs and other cats with them…read more They may be great with cats and big dogs, but I would never recommend them for a little dog. I had to go to Cleveland Clinic in Ohio for a pancreatic cancer biopsy and left my cat and little 6lb Yorkie with them thinking that boarding at an animal hospital, she would be in the best care. I left both, the cat and dog, with their favorite foods, toys, etc. When I called to check on them because we are rarely apart, I was told everytime that they were "both doing great!" My little Yorkie acts like she is the most beautiful princess when I groom her. I make sure she feels extra special before I do anything that might frighten her. Before leaving her anywhere, I check her ears, make sure her bottom is trimmed so that she stays clean back there, and groom her little face a little closer so that she doesn't get food build up around her little mouth. When I picked her up today, after a week at Spring Park, her backside was terribly hot, red, and swollen, had NO hair on her butt and the back of her upper thighs, and there are three bloody sores in that same area. The inside of her ears look purplish red. (They said she was scratching at her ears, which they only addressed the day I was picking her up! Again, if she was having issues call me or tell me that when I called to check on her. She had some kind of powdery substance on her coat. Did she pick up fleas while she was there? I keep her on a monthly flea treatment. So why the powder. She looked awful when I picked her up from them. Her coat was dull. She just looked so nasty and bedraggled. I have picked up strays that looked better. I have boarded her at other places for longer times (3 weeks when I had back surgery, etc) and she acted like she was mad at me, I'd buy her a new toy and she's over it. Never has she looked this bad or neglected. They said she had a UTI, but if she was peeing frequently in her cage or wetting herself, why didn't someone call me. The things wrong with her should never have gone unnoticed at an animal hospital. I don't know if they put her in a dirty cage, left her laying in filth, didn't clean her cage or what, but she definitely looks neglected. She has the signs of a dog that was fed, left unchecked and in filth. Again, this might be what you would expect from a neglectful boarding facility, but not at all what you would ever expect from an animal hospital. I left her with them in good faith, thinking that she was in the safest, best place possible until I could get back to her. I was wrong. The experience was horrific. My fiancé actually cried when he saw her, which shortly turned to outrage.
