So I recently took my little chihauha in to this vet. I've taken her there since we got her from…read morethe humane society. I went in to get her teeth cleaned. Well she has been having some other problems as well. I wanted to talk to the vet before we put her under to let her know what is going on with her. She has uncontrollable jerks when she hears loud noises. Like a water bottle crackling, or snapping your fingers. Anything like that. Anyways, Dr. Shed comes in the room and I explain to her what's going on. I even brought a water bottle with me to demonstrate the jerks to her. So she could see it with her own two eyes. So I show her the jerks and she completely dismisses my concerns and called my dog just a dramatic chihuahua. Ummm excuse me? I said no, I don't think that's the problem. She said well she's at the vet she's just scared and being dramatic. Seriously lady??? She does this when she's at home and has no reason to be scared. Just the sound of her lapping water out of her water bowl makes her do it. You mean to tell me that she's scared and being dramatic while she's at home just drinking water? I said I think it's a neurological thing. She said nope that's not it, she's just another dramatic chihuahua. Wow lady!!! Just completely disregarded everything I told her. I was so pissed. Anyways we went ahead and had her teeth cleaned. My little girl really needed it and we already had everything set up. Well they absolutely raked me over the coals on the bill. I specifically asked them not to test her for heart worms. She just had that done at an emergency appointment a couple months ago. They did it anyways. They charged me 50$ for that 5 minute talk with the vet. (That I got nothing but frustration from) For an office visit. Seriously? I just wanted them to be aware of what's going on with her before you put her under, and I get whacked 50$ for that? The bill was almost 600$ for a teeth cleaning. Good grief man. What a joke. Anyways I found another vet and told them the situation and they had me come in. I showed her the bloodwork paperwork that I got from Baxter county. I crackled the water bottle for her and she immediately goes that's definitely not being dramatic. Looks like audiogenic myoclonic seizures to me. What a breath of fresh air that was! So we are started her on some meds for it. She seems to be doing so much better! I will never and I mean never take another animal to this clinic. If you can't take the time to listen to your customers about an animal that they live with every single day then I don't think that a place I want to take my animals anymore. Now I'm sure they have done a great job for some people. This is my experience. I almost felt as if I was a burden to her. For me and my pets we will be STAYING AWAY FROM THIS VET!!!

Not only was he in pain but had extreme fear aggression from other vets locally and had to be muzzled before even entering a building for care! In 1 visit everything changed! He walks in happy after major surgeries! His condition's are completely gone and his meds are affordable and maintainable now. Unbelievable the difference a good vet can make! I cant say enough good about her and her staff! But i recommend her to anyone with pets! Especially new pets! Save them from experiencing vet fear all together and start them off right!

Picked our sweet cairn up from a teeth cleaning. His backside was covered in poop, dried poop. They had let this poor boy sit in his own feces for some time for it to be dried. I went back in and told them the issue. They handed me a roll of paper towels. We have a 45 min drive home, had to ask for cleaning supplies! Then the front desk is just rude. Called to order his 6 months of Nextgaurd (not cheap almost $200) before I could say anything she bit my head off stating we can't hold it. I let her grumble and said even if I pay for it you can't hold it. Oh well that's different. Try listening before you bite the hand that helps pay your wages. I'm sad to leave Sara but your staff has me looking for alternatives. Hateful is not good for business!!!!

This is…read moreafter trying out two other vets and wanting to come in to a hospital for some imaging or colonoscopy to get a visual look at my dogs GI tract. The vet, Dr. Smith, heard our story, looked at a picture of my dogs stool and seemed a bit off and asked why didn't any other vet give us meds for our dog and said it was obvious colitis. After he offered meds he then stated he is the owner of Animal Health Center. That was my dogs old vet until they cancelled us due to a review and the truth about Judy's Crematory services we had problems with after putting my service dog to sleep. He said because of my complaints we are not welcome there either. He did however at least give us the meds our dog needed. He said since I had been to two vets and was still looking for another vet service to help diagnose my dog I would be a problem. Is it wrong to go to a hospital to see about advanced imaging? He gave meds we didn't get elsewhere but held it against me that I kept trying for my dog. Sorry I care about my dog and will fight and pay to get him whatever care he needs. I tried to give our side of the story, he didn't want to hear it. He stated vets are busy and don't have the time to deal with issue like mine. Maybe just people like me? Actually made a veiled threat about how he isn't as nice as Dr Niess. A few times at that. I honestly think if he wasn't talking to a 300 lb 6'1" man he would have been more of an ass / bully. My wife noticed his attitude so it wasn't just me. She said she felt threatened by the way he stared her down more than once while clenching the desk so hard his knuckles turned white. The lady from SF that reviewed him was probably right. Actually had the owner of the vet office face to face and he had zero interest in the problem with my dogs ashes being less than half of the proper amount. Said they use Judy's for years. I guess that makes her honest and professional despite the evidence against that. Amazed but not surprised.

Dr Felice said since I didn't do a gradual change, it got his gastrointestinal system messed up. This Dr spent so much time with us talking about dog foods and giving our dog the best Look-Over! She said his coat was very nice and otherwise he is a very healthy dog. We received one med for diarrhea and one med for vomiting ONLY IF he vomits. She's a kind and caring, soft spoken calm Doctor. I'm SO GLAD THAT I DID NOT PAY ATTENTION TO ANOTHER'S OPINION. I heard about this clinic from word of mouth. Thank You Dr Felice!! Our Baby has a great Dr!!

I live out of town and brought my 6-month-old puppy here for a simple nail trim. Unfortunately, it…read morewas one of the worst experiences I've ever had. I understand puppies can be nervous, but I was shocked by how my dog was handled. She was forced onto her side while she was squirming, and then another employee came over, grabbed her collar and twisted it to try to make her stay still. I was seconds away from taking my puppy and walking out. They said they would try again, but the second attempt wasn't any better. They also told me, "It's the owner's fault for not having a calm, trained dog." My puppy is only six months old and is still learning. I expected patience, guidance, and gentle handling--not blame. To make matters worse, one employee also said, "We probably won't ever see you again, so this won't be a problem next time." After all of this, they wanted to prescribe medication to calm my puppy for future nail trims. From what I witnessed, the issue wasn't my puppy--it was the way she was being handled. Animals deserve to be treated with patience, gentle handling, and low-stress techniques whenever possible, especially young puppies who are still building confidence. If you bring your pet here, I strongly encourage you to stay and watch how your animal is treated. I hope this review encourages the clinic to improve its handling techniques and training so other pets and their owners don't have a similar experience.
