Small food stall with quick service usually just one or two people working the stand. They have so many flavors to choose from, as well as some sugar free options. They do also serve ice cream for $6; cone or cup. For snow balls small is $3 and medium is $3.50, and so on for large, ex large. My favorite part of my trips to Hollywood beach, quick snowball on the way back to the crib. They also have some picnic benches if you wanna enjoy at the location, they also have other food trucks in the lot.

This place is amazing. We have been coming here with the kids for about 12 years. They are moving soon so we will have to find their new location. The tiger's blood with sour apple is my favorite. You can add condensed milk and ice cream if you want. Great way to cool off in the summer. The service is so good. The owner is super friendly and always gives a great amount of flavor in the snow cones..

It is impressive how long this place has been opened and has stayed consistent since the first time I've had it over 10 years ago. The only change has been more flavors added. They just have great snow cones. Great flaky light ice. The flavors are what as described. They let you choose up to 3 different flavors at no extra charge. The serving sizes are super generous especially for $5 or less. The lady working is so kind despite being by herself serving the huge line formed. Perfect place to hit up in south Florida, especially after the beach or any outdoor activity.

This was my first time here it's like a hidden gem. With a few places around it it's in a huge parking lot a cute little spot. They have over 50 flavors. And you can mix the flavors also they have 5 different sizes. And they even have. A Huge size I stuck with a small and it was so filling I got cherry. On the safe side it was soo good. You can also sample as many flavors as you want the guy who worked behind was super nice and helpful. I will come back here for more flavor choices

I have been going to Snoballs for over a decade because of the delicious flavors, low prices, and how amazing it tastes after a long day at the beach. My friend and I went the other night and had the loveliest time chatting with Sherie. She was incredibly patient when we were indecisive about which flavor to choose and recommended many that I would've never taken a second look at. My go to is always tigers blood with condensed milk but I tried a mix of spearmint and chocolate with condensed milk on her suggestion-- SO good. Thank you Sherie and thank you Snoballs for being the best shaved ice in south Florida! Happy to keep supporting a local mom & pop business :)

I've been coming here a few years now and I can't believe I'm just writing a review. Its located in a mini market-ish type lot area directly in the back with a big "Snoball sign". This is a great place for an icy treat and the the prices are cheap for different sizes. Great place to bring the kids also. The ice in the sno balls is soft and they have so many different flavors! The woman that works here is super nice and always lets me sample flavors I'm unsure of. I've been coming here for years and I'll never stop.

First tried this on a rainy wet day. It was great and my goddaughter enjoyed it. Came back on a sunny day and stayed in the car too long and the line grew. My baddd. The lady making the shaved was very nice and I've yet to get the ride people I read about in other post. She helped me figure what would be a good flavor mix for the baby and apologetic about the wait. For nice cooling treat on a hot day, this is it. The prices are reasonable and worth the visit. On hot days and evenings this can't be beat

While I was in the neighborhood getting some gas, I saw this big sign saying "Snoballs". Since it was extremely hot outside today, I had to go by there to see what I could get to beat this heat. When I walked up, I was greeted with such a warm smile and personality from the lady working inside the booth. I was very intrigued by the menu due to the plethora of flavors I could choose from, so I ordered 2 Snoballs. I ordered the jumbo piña colada with condensed milk, and another jumbo with sugar-free blue raspberry and sugar free tigers blood flavor. OMG these were amazing! My favorite was the piña colada with condensed milk; it was the perfect sweet cool treat. I could taste the pineapple and coconut flavor from the piña colada, and it paired very well with the creamy condensed milk. Since this place is not too far for me, I would definitely become a regular here, especially during these hot summer weeks.

I LOVE IT!!! This place is so cute and amazing! I came here after the beach. Which is like 10-15 minutes away or less (depending on traffic). It was a great place to cool down after being at the beach for a couple hours. I bought a medium sized tiger's blood. It was really good! I recommend you try this flavor. Also, if you check in, you get $0.50 off!

This snowball stand is great! They have another location by Dania beach as well. I've been going here since I was a little girl and the flavors are always on point. Staff is friendly and very honest. They put a decent amount of Syrup on the snow cone and have a nice seating area

We all scream for snoballs! On a break from Pokemon hunting (ahem); we got lured to this amazing little gem. I love SnoBalls! My boyfriend just recently discover this about me as I told him to keep hunting while I drive. My favorite part? Condense milk!*** They have all kinds of flavors. My first choice was blueberry and watermelon. My boy had pineapple and mango. With the milk, ofcourse. So many choices and inexpensive. The most OG spot for snocones, it does NOT get better than this. Disclaimer: It is in the back of a parking lot placed with another BBQ food truck and paintball field. Keep on the look out.

This one was a medium cherry with condensed milk!

This is the best shaved ice in town. Just the right refreshing treat. Our new favorite summer spot.

The flavors were sweet and refreshing, and the place was clean. A few flavors were sold out, but overall still a good experience.

Back in a small retail area near SE 17th Street, this restaurant apparently opened in late 2019 and then had to close because of the pandemic. But it returned and now offers homemade food with terrific service. The place is small, seating about 30 in an at-home-at-the-dining-table style. Our server, who I think was an owner, was very friendly and even helped us choose a dish. We had to have lumpia, because it was one of the first Filipino foods we ever tried (decades ago). Although these were good, my friends' (shoutout to Analisa and Belinda) native eggrolls were much better. For our main entrees we had the adobosilog and the tapsilog. The adobo dish came with white rice topped with a fried egg, some shaved carrots, a couple of slices of cucumber and tomato. The adobo, though a tad salty, had a delicious soy-vinegar flavor and brought me back to the dish my pal Joe made for us a couple of times. The tapsilog was shaved beef that came with the same accompaniments but it was so salty that I had to mention it when the lady asked me how things tasted. She went and told the chef. (I did not complain about the adobo.) And he insisted that the price of the meal be removed from our bill. Ummm. OK. We splurged on dessert and shared the last piece of Ube (purple yam) cake (bought from an outside vendor) and a halo-halo. The cake was smooth and not too sweet. The halo-halo was shaved ice with ice cream, milk, and a variety of ingredients including beans, corn, and plain gelatin cubes. You have to mix it all up to get a good flavor. Hubby did not care for it because it was not sweet enough (yet he refused to add some condensed milk). It was my favorite dish of the entire meal. (I love cold, creamy, not-so-sweet desserts.) The portions don't match the price. While you get a humungous mound of rice, the meat is skimpy and entrees average about $20 each. And like most small places, there is a surcharge if you use a credit card instead of cash. Even with one meal removed, our bill was about $55 and would have been closer to $80. We do plan to go back and try some other dishes. Let's hope the salt content has lessened. (Remember chef: you can add salt but you can't remove it.)

That said, being from NJ surrounded by great Asian food, this place definitely lived up to the expectation. The crispy spicy tuna was probably one of the best I've ever had. Angry chicken was also delicious with great flavor. The shrimp fried rice, not pictured, was good and had chunks of shrimp. We would probably skip the beef bulgogi if we came back. Our waiter checked in on how we were liking our meal and even turned a hot latte into iced without any problem. The outdoor patio is beautiful as it overlooks the beach right across the street. We went for breakfast which has a small but amazing menu. As a vegan myself I had to order off the "sides" portion of the menu and I ordered an English muffin and a sliced avocado - very affordable ($5 total). I also ordered the fruit platter ($10) which came with an array of yummy fruits including pear, melons, pineapple, oranges, grapes and strawberries. There was more than enough for our table of three! My daughter had the pancakes which came with a warmed jam, syrup, and whipped cream. She said they were very fluffy. My husband had the chaffles which are croissants pressed in a waffle maker. They came with the same sides as the pancakes. And again he said they were so light and fluffy. We rounded off our meal with iced lattes - mine made with oat milk - and they were outstanding. I usually do not like iced drinks but the weather called for it and I was not disappointed! Overall Takato's breakfast is A+ and the view takes it over the edge of greatness! I hope you get a chance to enjoy it as much as we did! We returned to Takato for dinner and what an amazing meal we had. My one warning is to ask about portion size as many dishes are worthy of sharing size. We ordered an array of food. My son loved the kimchi short rib tacos (2 to an order). My daughter had the duck bao and California roll - both received two thumbs up! My husband had the wagyu sliders which he thought were an appetizer but ended up being a good sized meal served with french fries. He said the burger roll was a bit dry and could have used a sauce. The fries received rave reviews. We also had the mushroom gyoza (5 to an order) and these were delicious. I had the Takato salad without cheese and it did not disappoint. It came in a big bowl with crispy tofu. And I also enjoyed the vegetable sushi which provided a light fragrant taste with a crunchy texture. Takato hits the mark on all fronts and will definitely be a place to which we return whenever we come to Ft. Lauderdale!
