They moved into the space that Wet Seal, Justice and America Eagle once occupied. If you shop her regularly you know that parking close to the store is limited. All of the staff that I encountered were very friendly and professional. The store was empty on the two occasions that I visited. This left plenty of places to sit down and try on sneakers. They have lots of inventory for the entire family. I found a pair of sneakers that I liked but they did not appear to be the same quality of my other purchases so I passed. The workout clothes were nice but I didn't see any great sales on them.

If you would like a mental picture, imagine the inside of Payless with even cheaper goods. The aisles were labeled alphabetically and priced generally. For example, Aisle B was labeled "$10.99." So as I walked down B, I realized that all the shoes were that same price. The shoes, though cute from a distance, were poorly put together and appeared that way as well. The styles were good but you could tell why you were paying such a small price for them. They still had quite a few pairs of shoddy flip flops and aisles dedicated to children and men as well. They had a wall of purses which followed the lead of their shoes--somewhat unattractive and not well made. I feel bad reporting this, because I'm sure to some people this is a great store. But the return on your investment of a purchase here is not a good one with an exception-- if you needed shoes to go with your Halloween costume.

I was really excited because I live in Georgia and there isn't a clearance center there, so the girly shopper in me was super excited. Then all of that change after 3 minutes of being in the store. I noticed the security officer, watching me, at first, I thought I was imagining it but soon it became so clear I was targeted. I believe it was based solely on my race, Black American. It was really disgusting, every department I entered he was there watching me), and he didn't try to conceal it. I could tell that he had been well trained that (allegedly) only a certain race of people should not be trusted to shop without harassment, being watched, and singled out. It was not a pleasurable shopping experience for me. Shame on Dillard's I will not shop at any Dillard's store again.

Unfortunately, life is full of bills, so I can't go as hard as I would like to. The staff are always extremely friendly and helpful if you ever need anything. I love the variety of different shoes that they carry from flats to heels to sneakers to sandals literally just about everything. The only thing I have to say is that a lot of the clothes they carry are made of polyester which I do not want to purchase especially if I'm paying $40 for a shirt. I understand that may not seem like a lot but when I can get a good quality shirt on a clearance rack at Burlington for about five bucks $40 seems like quite the ripoff. The only thing I can say is that sometimes they do have decent things on clearance, but you really do have to dig. I have found that they also have a lot of similar things to Ross and Burlington clothes wise, which is why I really only prefer to look at the shoes when I go to Nordstrom rack. I like that they also have makeup and perfume there so that it is more of a one stop shop. They even have some toys and tons of kids shoes and clothes too. I will definitely be back, but I don't know for sure if I will be back to this location as it is a little bit far from my house.
