I brought my dog here for a follow up (from a previous urgent care visit (different facility) 2…read moreweeks earlier) because he had a ruptured anal gland. I called this clinic to make an appointment and the lady was very nice to me and I was able to get him in....because my dog is a new patient she did explain that there would be a $50 deposit to hold the appointment...I had no problem with that because I found out that it does go toward the final bill of the visit. So, the appointment was set for 10:30...they do expect you to arrive 10 min early....I was actually 15 min early but when I brought him in, they were already expecting him....which I totally appreciated the prompt check in. They checked his weight and escorted us right into the exam room. Kylie (the vet tech) was so sweet! She was so professional and Rocky was very comfortable with her handling him! And Dr. Noyes was great too! She was very knowledgeable and had no problem answering my questions. Checking out was easy and the ladies at the front desk were very nice and proficient. I'm looking forward to bringing my dog here for all of his healthcare needs.

We took my grandmother's ailing dog, Diva, to this clinic on 5/11 expecting a peaceful,…read morestraightforward euthanasia to end her suffering from lymphoma, but had the worst experience of our lives. When she got brought into the room, she was given a shot by Dr. Kelsey Noyes that was supposed to knock her out within a few minutes. We spoke to many dog owners and others who worked in vet clinics, and they unanimously said it should be peaceful and take 2-3 min tops. 10 minutes later, our dog was still conscious, and having a panic attack, eyes bulging out of her head, clearly nervous, half drugged from the sedative. My mother went out to the desk to tell them, only to be told dismissively it could take up to 20 minutes. By the time the doctor came back ~20 min later, the dog is still conscious in this panicked drugged state. After realizing the initial shot to knock her out didn't work, she opted to put a catheter (an IV) into her front leg and inject her with a second sedative shot through that. Several minutes went by and she was still awake, except panicking, shaking, gasping for air even more intensely. Dr. Noyas asked us if we were ready for the final shot, to which we immediately said yes, assuming it would immediately stop what we were witnessing. Well, that didn't happen. Of everyone we talked to over the last couple days, all of their dogs were completely unconscious before having the 2nd fatal shot administered. Ours wasn't, and was 10/10 panicking and terrified. Euthasol (the drug used) stops the heart and lungs. While injecting this, the catheter fell out of Diva's leg, essentially giving her a half-fatal dose while Dr. Noyas worked to re-attach it and administer the rest. For what seemed like 1-3 minutes (we all lost track of time, it felt like a dream), we watched our conscious dog violently shake, convulse, and gasp for air fighting against the effects. All the while my mother is having a panic attack crying, and my 85 year old grandmother is holding her to comfort her and stop her from falling off of the table because of the shaking. She slowly fades into stillness, at which point Dr. Noyas examines her and we're told she is gone. She gives her condolences shortly thereafter, and leaves with her assistant. We are all in complete shock and horror. We leave shortly after and stand in the parking lot for at least 20 minutes just trying to process and make sense of what we just witnessed. There was no apology, no explanation, no warning of what the 2nd fatal shot was going to do to her. I reach out to their practice email that evening asking to speak to the 2 highest people in the practice, the practice manager and the office manager. Instead of responding to my request and giving me their emails, I'm instead called Monday morning by another vet in the office to talk to me about the problem, perhaps so the news of what happened wouldn't get to their bosses and it gets dealt with there? At this point I don't know or don't care. Diva came from an abusive household, we did everything we could to give her a happy, comfortable, love-filled life. She didn't deserve to experience this. We didn't deserve to see this. We honestly feel like we have failed her by trusting her in this practice's care. I don't know whether to be furious or incredibly sad about this entire thing. It was the worst thing we have ever seen. Why was there a substantial lack of care throughout this procedure? Why did Dr. Noyas determine this method of care to be the best choice for Diva? What is being done to correct this? This was such a horrible experience for all of us. I don't want anyone else to go through this.

After my dog was misdiagnosed at an emergency clinic, Doc quickly recognized the real problem and performed emergency surgery that literally saved my pup's life. His knowledge, compassion, and calm approach make such a difference during scary situations. He takes the time to explain things clearly and truly cares about both his patients and their owners. My dog is now recovering well, and I couldn't be more grateful. I highly recommend him and his team.

As recommended, we opted to close her up and let her live out her time left in less pain. The incision was an inch long. She was prescribed a weeks worth of pain meds and antibiotics. Two days after, we had to take her back, due to blood dripping through her bandages onto our floor. Two days later.....SAME thing again. Both times, we were charged over $200 for "emergency service". No additional medication or treatment to help stop the bleeding or pain, just bandages. We left the second time with an outstanding bill of $220. For the following two+ weeks, we changed dripping bandages, washed bloody blankets and bedding, and shampooed rugs every single day. No relief from the amount of blood, only an addition of rotting flesh smell. We put our dog down today. Rowland was a great vet, when he was in his run down old clinic....full of love and empathy. Since moving and expanding his practice, it's all about money. Doubled office visit fees, impersonal customer service, impossible office hours. We received phone calls (after informing them we would be in to pay the bill, that we were taking it "personally", and they would call the cops on us if we didn't come pay. We have ALWAYS payed! Taking it personal? ABSOLUTELY! Pets are family.....what's more personal than that!? We will not be back!

On the first visit, the vet told me it was maybe allergies and change his grain free food. They plucked his ears and extracted his anal glands. They sold me some topical cream as his inner thigh was a bit irritated. This visit cost $350. The second visit, i went back the next day. My dog showed no signs of improvement from the prior visit. During this time they did an x ray, blood work, gave him some stomach settling meds along with appetite meds, and they sold me the same meds to take him. This visit cost $600. Note they said they were going to send me the x rays the same day but failed to do so. Fast forward another 1 day and $900 later, I noticed still no improvement. I took my dog to the VCA in Aurora. Turns out he had an intestinal blockage and required surgery. Thank god I took him to the hospital on Sunday or he would have likely died. Animals cannot talk. This place didn't go through the process of elimination to diagnose intestinal blockage. I didn't think it was because he never had a history of eating toys but I guess there's a first for anything. This place was offering all these other fixes that had no relation to the cause of my dogs illness. It's like fixing the radio of a wrecked car. The triage process was completely unreliable. I felt they were too busy pushing meds as opposed to finding a diagnosis. I got sold on these auxiliary services that did absolutely nothing to alleviate my dog's condition. I can't recommend this place. The only bright side is my dog survived. Vets should be trained in diagnosis issues. This is especially the case for animals. Dogs can't tell you where it hurts. It's up to the vet to help identify the root cause. In my case, I felt I was being upsold on services as opposed to treating the true underlying condition.
