EXCELLENT SERVICE!!!! I was pleasantly surprised with this shop. They fixed a transmission for me on my daughters car and when I got there to pick it up & pay for it the quote was actually lower than what they said it would be. I asked the manager what happened to make the price go down & he stated they noticed one of the major components I needed to fix my car was in good enough shape to reuse. This saved me almost 680.00 from the original quote. I haven't seen that kind of honesty anywhere. I was ready to pay the full amount & they could have charged me but they didn't. I never write reviews but you don't find business like this anymore. I guess that explains their 86 years in business. As the Manager of Texas Bay Area Pre-Owned, I deal with several mechanic shops in our area in regards to repairs on our inventory. I have never been impressed, by any of those shops enough to recommend them, until now. We had a clean, 2004 Honda Accord, which we took in trade. We discovered, after the fact, that the transmission had issues. Snider shouldn't have cared that we were in a bind, cost-wise, but they did. They went above, and beyond, what most other shops would on our behalf. If they treat another business with such fairness, and concern, I imagine they treat individuals as family, as well. As a professional "Car Man" for over 30 years, I feel I know more than most about Auto Repair Shops, the group at Snider Transmission, in League City, are the best around. My transmission went out in Alvin while I was working and I called Sniders because I head dealt with them on another vehicle years ago and they were very fair and great to work with. They sent a tow truck that showed up within 30 minutes and brought me to the shop in League City. They fixed my transmission, which was toast, and were more than fair about it. I also had them repair my differential which was leaking. They updated me on what was going on with the truck before they proceeded as far as cost goes. I had transmission issues with my 2008 Honda Civic. I got referred to them by a good friend of mine and I could not be happier with the result. They got the transmission fixed in a timely manner and the price was very fair. They had offered me a free loaner car but I didn't need it. But I was happy that I was offered it if I needed it. They also offered a payment plan. I gotta say to be offered these things is not common now a days and a breath of fresh air. The staff there are extremely professional and courteous. I know working on cars can be dirty but this place has a dealership type look to it with out the dealership prices. I got a good vibe when I went in there & found two of the guys I working there were Matt " Snider" & Bruce " Snider ". Repairs took 2 days and they gave me a free loaner while they had it. Amber is a angel from heaven!! I wasn't even a customer with her and she took time out of her life. To handle an issue I was having with another transmission company. She was able to get my truck back from them in less the 48 hrs and had my truck fixed 2 days later. Amber and the snider family date the people you want to have in your small group.
