I am being ultra-careful with this review of FAST FIT BODY SCULPTING, located at 9480 S Eastern Ave #125, Las Vegas (actually Henderson), because the owner [Doug Zucco] is constantly trying to have reviews like mine removed from Yelp and Google. I firmly believe Fast Fit is a SCAM, and the owner is a fraud and consummate con artist. Doug Zucco cannot cite any scientific or empirical evidence attributing his spa to weight loss. Please note that FastFit Body Sculpting is not a medical spa since, according to Nevada State Law, a medical spa must be owned and operated by an M.D. (definition below), always have a medical professional in attendance, and be State and locally licensed. Yet Fast Fit Body Sculpting claims to be a "weight loss spa/clinic. Fast Fit misses on all counts. I included a synopsis of who can own a medical spa in the State of Nevada. "Under a legal doctrine known as the "corporate practice of medicine," only a physician or physician-owned corporation can own a medical facility. Only physicians or physician-owned corporations can collect "patient" fees for providing medical services." Examples of "medical facilities" are WEIGHT LOSS CLINICS; hangover clinics (IV Therapy); erectile dysfunction clinics; drug detoxification; and Medically Assisted Treatment or MATs. The above quote comes from a series of NRS references. Too many to waste my limited space on Yelp, but you can find them on the Internet. Doug Zucco is not a physician and owns all the Fast Fit Body Sculpting storefronts. His employees dispense medical advice for losing weight every time you walk in the door, and they did so with me at this facility. I have checked with the Medical Examiners Board of Nevada. At this Henderson facility and four other Fast Fit stores I have been to, all the non-medical staff has dispensed medical advice to me. When I joined Fast Fit, Shirley Mitchell (the only salesperson for Fast Fit) called a doctor (off-site) to check whether it was safe for me to use the Fast Fit Body Sculpting service. It ended up not being safe and caused me a trip to a hospital ER. When I signed up, I requested help understanding what and how Fast Fit could help me lose 10-15 pounds. Shirley Mitchell said a medical examiner was on staff but never offered their name. Months later, I still don't have the name of this phantom person. Either way, Doug Zucco is the owner, so this Fast Fit Body Sculpting, along with its claims, is illegal in the State of Nevada, according to State law. I have asked everyone at this and other Fast Fit Body Sculpting stores (even one that had an eviction notice on Sahara Ave., and all I get are evasive answers. Fast Fit Body Sculpting Spa or Clinic did not do what it claimed and guaranteed. If you have seen their television commercials, you will note that it also makes the statement that the service is "guaranteed." I spent an excessive amount of money with Fast Fit, and according to my credit card company, there are disparaging remarks noted about me that I have requested to see but, to date, have never been issued by Fast Fit. Beware, Fast Fit takes notes on you and falsifies such information according to their needs. Fast Fit does not work. The remaining three clinics (two are closed down, one by eviction) is a scam. I am still waiting to see the return of my money. Please do your due diligence before throwing away your money.
