If you're not familiar with the Greyline Station, it's a former bus depot which has been transformed into a miniature mall of sorts, with numerous vendors located inside, and I had read a sign that they hold a Farmer's Market on Wednesday evenings from 5:00-7:00 pm. The facility has an accommodatingly large parking lot with plenty of spaces. Nowwwww, to the REAL reason for this review! Once I parked and exited my vehicle, I smelled the most amazing fried chicken, and immediately searched for the source of such an enticing aroma. As I walked towards the building, I saw two nice gentleman sitting outside of the building, near a sign that said Wing KYng, and AHA, SCORE, I found the source of the wonderful fried chicken aroma! Those two gentlemen happened to work in Wing KYng. I told them once I procured my one sought out item in the farmer's market inside the building, I would be returning to procure some of that chicken. Upon my return to Wing KYng, I began asking my typical questions: do they have anything gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free, and egg free? The staff member was very knowledgeable and advised me that the dry rubs were my best option. I have a myriad of food sensitivities, so I browsed the dry rub options available, and chose a 6 piece chicken wings with Lemon Pepper dry rub. O M Goodness!!Fabulous is the first word to come to mind! The skin was so delectably crunchy, the chicken was moist and tender, and the flavor was perfectly balanced! The cost was $12.00, which is a great price in my mind for the best fried chicken I've had in a good many years. Although I cannot speak to these items, they offer a wide variety of flavors, dips, and Parmesan coated home cut French fries as well. I witnessed one staff member actually cutting the potatoes for the French fries. Truly nice folks work here, and the chicken was phenomenal!!! I will be returning here for sure!

Originally, I just wanted a shake and wings; however, no shake was available at Fatburger. Apparently, the delivery truck did not come. I waited like I would and the guy who had taken my order (around 5:00 p.m.) gave me free fries and a Tropicana drink (probably because of the shake thing and fries because of the wait, I never said anything btw). The receipt is printed and our cost was $118.71. Today is Thanksgiving day and we wanted to bless our waitress for her great service and as a simple act of kindness. This is what we do! The owner came to the register and said he wanted to see my husband's id to insure it was indeed his credit card because we were leaving our waitress a $220.00 tip. (Granted, this is a business in Winchester, KY and we are from Lexington, KY where the bigger restaurants must allow their employees to get a blessed tip.) They matched up and then he proceeds to flip the credit card over and says he needs to take a picture of his credit card info along with his drivers license and also writes my husbands telephone number on the receipt. That's a big negative! My husband says no, then retrieves his cards. There's no reason he would need the credit card info and his drivers license info if the credit card had already been swiped and approved. Actually there's no reason anyone should take a front and back picture of your credit card and drivers license. The owner gets pissed off and says he will only accept $20.00 charged on the card for her tip and that our tip was an unreasonable amount for her. My husband says he will just give her cash. The owner says, that's fine, go to the bank and get cash to give to her. My husband says he has the money on him and gives her the cash in person. The owner says fine, pay your bill and thanks for tip. Excuse me asshole. That tip was not for you and I hope that she gets to keep it. From the way he acted, it seemed like he was an abusive boss/owner! Our waitress was in tears and gave us each a huge hug along with her daughter that was there. The way that this man acted was so disturbing as if his employees don't deserve to be blessed. I hope that God blesses this lady and her family that she finds a better boss then this asshole! We couldn't really express how we felt about his actions in fear of he may retaliate against her. This post is not to deter anyone from going to this business but to just inform you all that if you want to give this waitress a blessing, bring cash because her asshole, abusive, prejudiced boss won't let you and will make the employee feel as if they don't deserve a blessing. I encourage anyone and everyone to please go here and bless this waitress! She's only been at the restaurant a few weeks and she says she's just moved to Winchester from Lexington for a fresh start with her children!
