I was thrilled with the customer svc I received recently & Silver City's Albertsons really came…read morethrough for me, when my daughter was sent to the hospital in an emergency situation, & I, being long-distance & living in Colorado, was distraught bc I thought I was out of luck with having flowers delivered to her same-day since it was mid-afternoon, & the floral specialty store I initially placed an order with had already put me off to the next day. I spoke with cust. svc. rep. Pablo & told him the situation, & he went above & beyond to make sure a lovely bouquet was ready quickly for delivery, even though the floral dept person had already left for the day. And the following week I was thoroughly impressed once again by the customer svc I received when I had more specialized items hand-selected for my daughter in short order once again late in the day. I would highly recommend this store bc of the excellent service I received both times I called; the patience & care shown while successfully filling my rush orders was greatly appreciated! Thank you Albertsons, & thank you Pablo!

Maybe the store is now a suitable place for children, but there's no telling for certain whether the lewdness of the famous sex crazed California celebrities will make its way back. Good enough selection of organic food, and since I have been barred from where I used to shop at the Coop, as I am detested as a Christian in many parts of the country, I will continue patronizing Albertson's while I am in this most peculiar town. Still expecting someday to hear Bach, Mozart, and Saint Saens, but until then, I can always bring a barf bag with me if Californy is the place we ought to be.

Writing this review for Walmart Auto Center in Silver City, NM. On 7/3/19 my Lincoln Navigator was…read moredue for an oil change. I checked in at opening time and the mechanic said that it would be done in about 25 minutes. I returned in the alotted time to find out that it could not be done, due to a cross threaded oil pan drain plug installed at my last oil change, at the same Walmart; done by a mechanic that is no longer employed there. The mechanic, on 7/3/19, said he would not remove it unless a department manager was present, and the manager was gone that particular day. Due to a family emergency, the manager was gone for several days. I returned on 7/9/19 and told the mechanic, that I had been talking to, that I really needed to get my oil changed. Yet again, he told me that the manager was still not there, and needed to be present because of the drain plug issue. There was another mechanic, named Antonio, that was listening to conversation. He stepped up and said that he would do the oil change himself, because he knew that I had returned several times. He stated that he would do it without a manager present. I am giving two thumbs up to Antonio for stepping up and resolving the situation. I know that his years of experience is why he had no problem removing the drain plug and making a decision for a quick plug replacement. Thank you again Antonio for your great service! People need to realize WE paid for that renovation. Just look at all the price increases, if you can't tell, you're not paying attention. Refuse impulse buys. Tell Walmart we won't take it until prices come down! The renovation didn't even considered that we are located in a Southwest town, they didn't consider a southwest facade with the exterior. The exterior is so distasteful. The garden center is never open to the parking lot. It just really seems like we are treated like second-class citizens here in Silver City! Talk about a throwback! This is the grocery store of my youth, LOL…read more We needed a few dinner items while staying in the area and picked the Food Basket for convenience. It's old but well kept and prices were reasonable. We picked up some beautiful steaks that the young man in the butcher area recommended and they were so good when grilled. The produce section was clean but I found it lacking in items. We were looking for vegetables to go with our dinner but only found fresh corn and squash. We bought corn and it was fresh and tasty. We found everything we needed and employees were pleasant and we were asked several times while perusing the store if we needed help finding anything. I appreciate that kind of customer service.

I was perplexed as to what was happening. The employee then stated I needed to leave my grocery bags (yes, empty bags used for groceries, not backpacks, not enclosed or sealed, open strapped empty grocery bags). I showed the employee the grocery bags, however she was insistent I leave them up front. I requested a manager, who was equally accusatory and condescending, but had to acknowledge these were allowable grocery bags...well of course they were. I stated this was a training issue because you simply cannot pull aside rule abiding shoppers and essentially imply they are trying to steal something. He stated it was not a training issue and the reason groceries were expensive was because people were stealing. Apparently implying theft by people who looked like me or whatever the profiling criteria might be. It was insulting, offensive and outrageous behavior from a business and demonstrates the low regard they hold for their customers. I will never go into this dump again!

Baked Goods out of a dumpster…read more Not once but twice I have purchased their pre-made baked goods from their display in front of the counter and it was trash. Lucky for me the first time a diligent young checker spotted 3 of the 4 Blueberry muffins i purchased(i have severe visual impairment) were covered in mold. But this time it wasn't visual, the Banana Nut mini-muffins were stale as little rocks. To be fair the vendor makes decent baked goods. This is TOTALLY on Pepper's for not inspecting their displays. The display baked goods are overpriced and rarely fresh but they are adequate when not spoiled. I like their muffins but I will no longer be purchasing anything off their display ever again. Once is a mistake twice is a problem. Whoever runs the Bakery is not competent or too distracted and it hurts their customers. That is all.

I glanced into the stock room and I do believe I saw Adrian Monk working there. As others have said, the meat dept seemed to be high quality as well. All employees that I interacted with were certainly pleasant and respectful. All in all, I had nothing to complain about here. Good selections and good prices.

If Walmart cared anything about the customer experience they would be doing the…read morerearranging/reorganizing/construction work overnight when they're closed. I don't go to walmart to spend a half hour looking for coffee filters because some drone with a degree thinks its a good idea to keep moving products around. Over half of the freezer shelves are out of service with no product at all in them. The card readers at self checkouts are usually screwed up and will not accept valid credit or debit cards. The entire operation is a cluster****.
