The kids LOVE this place as they can play on some of the big toys (like the huge dolls house and the pirate ship), it's packed with all the old sweets like fizz wiz and flying saucers, and the staff are super-friendly. It's also a beautiful shop and the children are encouraged to draw a picture on the big table at the back whenever they come in. They also hold daily craft sessions and have just got a rabbit! It's getting the kids OUT of the shop that's the problem! :) Lovely place to while away some time though, and right next to the local duck pond. Hands down, best children's shop in London.

Having said that, they sell the most beautiful wooden toys, at £21 for a doughnut stick (wooden stick to insert round like colored doughnuts for children), and my favourite knack were these customized wooden, hand painted chairs with your child's name on them. I immediately wanted one for my baby girl, but was put off by their price £80, and they take up to three weeks to be made. The shop is not only for children's bits and pieces they also have a small men's section, with briefs, handkerchiefs, ties, grooming sets, etc and women's accessories along side a stationary corner. I left charmed and still wanting the chair!
