There are two main play areas, one for toddlers and another for older children up to around 12 years. The provision is soft play areas, ball pit, slides, climbing apparatus and so on. The area for older children has a separate area within which is meant for the under-fives.
Positive aspects about this venue are that the play areas can be seen from a central area where parents can sit and have refreshments that are available on site. The overall layout is good. It is worth noting that you are asked not to consume your own food and drinks there. Another positive is that there is ample parking provision.
Less positive was the lack of enforcement of the age restriction rules for certain areas that meant that the younger children were being roughed-up by over-excited older children.
This was my first and only visit to this venue and it was during the school holidays. It was extremely busy but I imagine that it is a more pleasant experience during term time. read more
