The first morning I had silog with tamarind chicken and pork asada, and lots of crispy Danggit! The congee was amazing! U added every topping possible plus fresh calamansi juice! Also had lychee chia pudding one morning and blueberry the next. The lycée was absolutely delicious! We consumed heaps of the most delicious dragon fruit. Now onto the pastries!! One morning they had bread and butter pudding squares and the other morning they had taisan bread. Both were so scrumptious!! Our server Harven was a delight! Friendly, got us warm milk, and answered my 6 million questions! We also took pictures in the back patio that overlooked Laguna de Bay. Beautiful views in every direction. They also had pineapple and mango jam! New jam flavors to me that were delicious on my cream cheese filled French toast. My husband also tries the miso ramen and the fresh salad with a great sesame dressing. In other words, we ate everything, everyone was so friendly and the views are incredible.

Though it operates as a rooftop bar and restaurant, they also offer buffet breakfast for in-house guests. FOOD: 3/5 The overall food selection was quite limited, primarily a mix of Filipino, American, Chinese and other International dishes. The food was decent but could have been better overall. SERVICE: 5/5 I noticed that most of the servers were male while a few female staff at the food counter. Regardless, all of them were attentive, polite, and efficient. AMBIANCE: 4/5 Being at the rooftop, the restaurant provides a full view of the city. I can only imagine how much more stunning these views at night with the city lights. It also features a mini pool - not for use but aesthetically for decor which I believe needs a little polishing and renovation. Overall, the buffet breakfast at The Nest did its job - it fill us up in the morning, though I wished there was a wider selection. And I take my hats off to the staff at The Nest - their service were on point!

They should have a rule when it comes to pets and restaurants. Malls and lets is understandable. But Pets and Restaurants is a whole new story. Dont get me wrong I love pets dogs specially, but we have to be respectful of others preference and health conditions.

Yelp Review 2023 # 44:…read more I've seen how this bake shop evolved. Starting out as Dates Cafe to Dates and Nuts to Conti's at a little space in BF. Their cakes and their food are delicious which warranted more locations all over the metro. My personal favorites since I was a kid are Chicken ala Kiev served with buttered vegetables and garlic rice, Mango Bravo cake (crunchy meringue layers, creamy chocolate mousse, cream, mangoes), and their blended iced tea with calamansi. Honestly, all their menu items - both savory and sweet are delicious. It just depends on your mood. Other favorites include Beef Salpicao, Roast Beef in Mushroom Sauce, Sans Rival, and Blueberry Cheesecake - I actually don't like blueberries but this cheesecake only has a small amount of blueberries on top. Every time I go to the Philippines, I have to go to Conti's - it's like being at home!

My friends planned a "South Saturday lunch" so that we can hang out in my neck of the woods instead of going all the way to Makati to hangout. Luckily I got a table immediately before the crowds arrived and a queue was formed. We ordered the following to share: 1. Tokwa't (Tofu) and Baboy (Pork) - we all enjoyed this appetizer that we ordered more fried tofu. The sauce was tangy and sweet while the tofu was cooked really well, crisp outside and soft inside. The pork was tasty and crispy as well. Loved the flavours and the textures in this dish 2. Crab fat pasta with crab cakes - the pasta wasn't too overpowering but you can def taste the crab fat. The crab cakes were made with real crab and they didn't scrimp on it. Great dish! 3. Sinigang paella and pork belly - one of their most popular dishes at Neil's Kitchen (we actually ordered two!). The sinigang in the paella was a great way to do a different take to sinigang and the pork belly was delicious. 4. Kare-kare with bagoong rice - kare kare was great with the distinct peanut taste and loved the veggies too. The bagoong rice was a nice accompaniment to the dish. Overall, I'm glad I finally tried Neil's Kitchen and next time I want to try their desserts.

Bacolod Chicken House - Chicken inasal and cripsy chicken skin with garlic rice. My favorite at Bacolod Chicken House!!!

Their Bacolod inasal is still king. They have the best flavor I've ever had in Manila. Those major commercialized ones should be ashamed. The pairing of inasal and garlic rice here at Bacolod Chicken House is something you'll be coming back for. I've been to Bacolod only twice and they recommended the best place for inasal and immediately I thought it is just like this chicken in BF Homes. It's legit, guys!

Thankfully, I'm no stranger to Chicken Inasal. I grew up having lunch or dinner at Bacolod Chicken House in BF Paranaque. We've seen this place go from having one floor to having two and then going back to one. It's less fancy than most of the restaurants that opened up in the area, but it's been there since the time that BF was just a private, less congested subdivision so we have a strong affinity to it. It really is a no-frills kind of restaurant, but they serve the best Inasal in town. My favorite chicken part is the pecho (chicken breast), and it's grilled to perfection so that the skin is a little charred and crispy and the meat is white and juicy. I also like the sauce (I think that's what Ilonggos call Annato oil) that leaves yellow stains on my white rice (or garlic rice). Serve that with a really cold drink and I'm good to go. Their Chicken Skin is so good it's bad. I can finish a platter by myself!

With the closing of mainstay Gourmet's Palate (which has subsequently reopened), the market became wide-open for such places to compete with those that have been 24/7 since the start, including the two branches of Sinangag Express. Soon after Gourmet's Palate closed its doors, Dusadee Thai began operating at all hours, adding much-welcome variety to the late-night-to-early-morning food scene in BF. As the name suggests, the place serves Thai food exclusively. Good Thai food, to be exact. The Pad Thai and spring rolls are excellent, and the different curries are quite tasty too. This doesn't come as a huge surprise, as the owner is actually a Thailand native. The meals are priced fairly, especially given the portion size and level of taste. The place is quite small, so you may have to wait a bit if there are no seats available. You can also get your meals delivered if you live in the area. You can choose to light up if you get one of the outdoor seats, although I recommend taking a few steps away to the parking lot instead.

We all thought it was a great idea, and headed to Imbiss. Everything on the menu sounded so good! Sausage sandwiches, schnitzel, pot roast, etc. It was tough picking just one thing to order, so a friend and I decided to split the house salad and buffalo chicken sandwiches. The other two got their own solo meals...and when the food arrived 1. holy hell the servings were huge 2. thank god the servings were big because it was delicious and we were starving I really liked the bread and dressing used for the sandwiches, the chicken was moist and spicy, and the mashed potato and coleslaw, though side dishes, were yummy enough to be sold on their own. Note: I don't even like coleslaw, but Imbiss does it so well I finished mine and my friend's. Happy to say we all cleaned our plates! The interiors were nice, not to shabby. The food was also great; generous servings of delectable German-Style dishes. We ordered a lot, but here's what I remembered eating: Loaded Potato Skins (so good!), Diablo Shrimp Linguini, Imbiss All Meat Pizza, Deep Fried Pork Knuckles, and their Chicken and Pork Schnitzels and the Sizzling Double Dark Chocolate Brownie for dessert. Everything was really good! They serve local and imported beer, but the birthday boy was given a complimentary shot of Patron (his drink of choice). His reward for taking us to that cool place.
