I did not discover this place until a couple days after I got to the island and when the locals…read moretold me about this hidden gem. It's easy to drive pass this place because there are no street signs marking it as you drive along. You would literally have to turn your head to see it. I've been coming here almost every evening to get my desert fix or simply bringing it back in a box back to my hotel for breakfast the next morning. The desert pastries here are awesome! - which I've been having to get my sweet tooth fix. They also have meat stuffed pastries but they are not as popular as the sweet kind or their local bread (I say this because every time I come here I see locals buying large bags of them at a time). They also have espressos if you like coffee with your pastry or (if you want, which I've never heard of) have beer on tap with your food - how cool is that! The euro prices are cheap, approximately €3 gets you a coffee or beer (lol) and 2 pastries. The ambience inside is modern and they have sufficient amount of seats to enjoy your food and drink. Although the place can get crowded depending the time and day it is. I came by here after midnight and the place was packed which I was not surprised because locals stay up pretty late on this island. The place is somewhat small and it could get loud. If you are not a local and have high standards, then you would have to be careful. I believe they make fresh batches on Thursdays because the next day the display was partially empty and there were a couple of flies in their display. Hence, I took 1 star off this review for it. Overall, I would highly recommend this place. The staffs are friendly, the pastries are great and that's what matters to me.
