Painfully slow service for dinner with a large group. Ordered appetizers immediately, then entrees. Dinner took over 3 hours. The best was the fact that they had a nice salad, nice vegetarian options. The fish/meat were excellent, but on par with some of the other restaurants in the area...if you have time, want something a bit unique, give it a try. read more

A fantastic little spot that we were happy to discover. I can eat anywhere but my gf is vegan and that has proven somewhat difficult until we found this place. Not only do they have a large vegetarian menu with plenty of vegan choices, but the food is amazing! Run by a Turkish couple that was sailing through a few years ago and decided they wanted to stay here (who doesn't) you'll find not only portages selections but Turkish and Greek fare as well. The large menus is supported by a great win list and the owner is happy to make suggestions based on your dinner choice. The price for two meals, a bottle of wine and dessert was typical of most places so not bad. All in all you should absolutely pay this place a visit and enjoy some good food. read more

This is the restaurant I would definitely recommend for anyone that is visiting Terceira. There is so much on the menu whether you love fish, steak or vegetarian. A few in our group got steak and their meals looked amazing. Dessert was also amazing and the owner's Mother and wife made them homemade. The owner is also super friendly. Absolutely delicious! I ordered the Nut Roast and the cheesecake with cayenne pepper and strawberry. My daughter ordered the Tofu and brownie with Ice cream and husband ordered the fish and salad with ice cream and pineapple/passion fruit. Everything was delicious and tasty. A wonderful dinner experience. We were lucky enough to land at table 1, sharing an outside view as dusk turned to dark. We ordered and shared the two fish choices. Yum for both. The sides were excellent and the somewhat light meal left room for a deep dark chocolate brownie with a dollop of fresh ice cream. Sinfully good. The owner was the primary server and clearly takes pride in every dish served; a delight to visit with after the meal. The intimate surroundings and personal connection made it feel as if we were invited to his home for supper. Such a pleasure. They had live music after an hour of us being there and the guitarist was really good. The food was good and we ordered family style of steak and other items. We ordered the steak medium rare but came out pretty rare. I'd recommend for the large steaks to cut the steak into strips off the bone in order to make sure the thick parts are cooked to order. Quality meat though for sure. Overall the experience was good and has a great view of the water when you step outside. read more

Very cosy intimate restaurant. Knowledgeable waiter and pleasant. Offered his suggestions and they were good. Surprised to see it listed as a "Seafood, Italian, and Turkish " restaurant. Really no dishes resembling Italian or Turkish type food. Felt menu was fairly small . Again a surprise after reading reviews. Food was good but not great as expected. We stopped for a leisurely lunch and were beyond delighted! We started with the hummus, which was the best we've ever had. The falafels were also delicious. Next we tried the Wreck Fish, i.e. grouper, which was amazing. The pumpkin dessert is a MUST TRY! We're here for 6 more days and we will surely stop for a few more meals! read more

A small gem near the water. Captain's Table had delicious food, staff who were genuinely pleased that we were there, and jazz. We have no idea why this restaurant is not crowded. We really enjoyed the fish: two trip in one week; it was that good. The linguiça was delicious! Too bad it is 7000 miles from home. read more
