Steamed clams
Stephanie G.

This place was pretty decent. They have coupons in local tourist books for a free appetizer or dessert, which is a good value add if you can find one. We went when it was almost empty, but we had to wait a while to order because the waitress was chit chatting with what seemed to be regulars. We got the steamed clams which was a good serving and delectable when dipped in butter. For entrees, they have decent options including daily specials. I wanted to try the prime rib which was tender and juicy. They also had a special of shrimp 3 ways, so we share coconut, blackened, and scampi. Those were all great. The sides were as expected. There is a small salad bar that can count for one of the sides, and it's a nice way to customize to your liking. The interior is a bit dated, but the bathrooms were nice and there was plenty of parking. For a decently priced dinner with a good variety of options for everyone, this was pretty good.

Ambiance was nice but a little dark some of my party had difficulty reading the menu the menu. We requested a candle for the table. The food was a mix of good and average. The calamari was crispy and plentiful. The thickness of the roll, overpowered the taste of the lobster. The seafood melt was smothered with shredded cheese which impacted the delicious taste of the crab, scallop, etc. Great service. Our waitress was attentive and nice.

We came here on a Friday night after not being here for awhile. I had been seeing many enticing ads about how they updated their salad bar. We set at the bar and ordered drinks. I was pleased to see they had seafood specials for Fri & Sat and we both ordered the Twin lobster tails at $29.99 ($10 less than normal). My husband and I got the salad bar, and he ordered a baked potato while I ordered broccoli as our second side. We were seated at the bar and both grossed out that they kept bringing dirty dishes to the bar instead of putting them in a place out of sight-- or heaven forbid, in the kitchen! Yuck- not appropriate. Anyway we went to the salad bar which looked exactly as it had in years past, except there were new bowls and tongs! The offerings didn't change! When we got our meals, I had broccoli (which was nicely steamed and not mushy) but my husband didn't get his potato. It was when we asked about it that we found out that the salad bar now counts as two sides! So they gave me the broccoli as an apology for the miscommunication. The lobster tails were delicious and the side of melted butter was hot, so that was good. The server was pleasant too. I'm not sure how soon we'll go back though.

Stuffed 12oz lobster tail special and yes those are noodles in my rice pilaf.

It's was fine. Average meal without being anything special. Our server was very nice and offered suggestions on meal selection and drink specials. However, everything was very slow. Yes it was busy but our server wasn't attentive. Drinks went unfilled and we were halfway through our meal before she ever check in after the food runner dropped our food. I do always love the decor of a seafood place. We had a nice time but don't think I would come back.

Not bad, service was top notch, the hot wings were mild/medium at best. Side salad a little skimpy. Others enjoyed the seafood ( lobster, crab legs) . So strictly seafood probably a 4 star

Tons of space for groups, plenty of regular seating and even a bar area seating. Great variety of food and everything is very good. Service was exceptional. Great experience. Thank you!!

The staff is friendly but the food is dry and over salted. I've never had lobster and crabs as dry as this before.

Food was delicious, but a new menu, portions are smaller and prices are higher. Felt a little rushed.

Our server was Sienna, (not sure if that was spelled right), and she was extremely attentive to us and very patient with our group. We also were able to order Shirley Temples off menu because Sienna knew how to make those as well. They also served our Shirley Temples in insulated white foam cups. The food was perfect! We ordered their salmon with a side of mashed potatoes and broccoli, Chicken Française with a side of potato wedges, a side salad, Grilled cheeses with french fries for the kids, tuna melt, cheese curds, and a sandwich off their special menu I can't remember the name. The sandwiches came with bagged kettle cooked chips! I wasn't able to picture everything because everyone had mostly scoffed their food down immediately. Lol. Definitely recommend their brownie sundae for dessert, with their Double Dunker ice cream! SO GOOD! I also included a video of one of our rowdy kiddos having a good time with her food! Super worth it dining experience, I will say there is absolutely no signal to use your cellphone, so more family bonding haha. This place is amazing and would definitely come back.

The staff was very nice and seated us promptly, we were sat at a table that was booth on one side and chair on the other but it was an extra tall bar stool type table. Soon as I sat down the sun was right in my eyes. Yes only a small nuisance till the bar tender shut a blind (because the bar folks were effected) but there were so many empty table. Why sit us at this table ? There were plenty of other tables that would not have had this issue. Not sure why the hostess would not know not to use this table for this time of day. Other then that the place was very clean and a normal pub type atmosphere. Nothing super special though. We started off with an appetizer called the "Texas Twinkie" - okay. I read "twinkie" and think some form of cake/bread with a filling. What we got was more of an egg roll. The outside was either a wonton type wrap or a tortilla then filled with brisket, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, jalapeño, and BBQ sauce. This was very delicious but definitely misleading in the name and the menu didnt really describe the item, it only give the name and listed the ingredients. I bring this up because we also ordered the traditional pizza.... what we got was more of a flatbread and pretty bland as well. Super basic bread with a lack of flavor marinara sauce and cheese. Also the sauce to cheese ratio was sad. You can tell this because all the cheese on the slice would come right off with 1 bite. We would not order this again based on the price and what was served. I also had the French onion soup. This was pretty well done. Not to salty, no crazy cheeses added. It was well balanced and was worth getting. My partners entree was the barley creek whiskey BBQ sauce on chicken tenders. These were just ok. The sauce seemed more tomatoe based then normal for a BBQ sauce and again just wasn't what one would expect from the name whiskey Bbq sauce. I am sure people do like this place but it wasn't very impressive to us. 3 out 5 stars is a fair rating as service was good for the most part, the place was clean with a decent amount of menu options, but the execution of the food lacked and the menu names are definitely misleading for the items we had ordered.

As an entree, my sister and I ordered the chefs special to share. It came with a steak, crab cake, and lobster tail, steamed string beans, and mashed potatoes. There was also a variety of sauces. As an out of towner who has access to amazing cuisine options in my area this restaurant gets three stars and that's being nice. When you walk in it's like a motel entrance. Literally it has all the tourist pamphlets lining the entrance to the hostess stand which doubles as the front desk of the hotel. It's not welcoming and feels cheap. To get to the restaurant you walk down a narrow long bar area where plenty of locals (I'm assuming) were enjoying happy hour. Loud and unwelcoming imho. We were seated in a two top which is super close to another two top. When I requested a booth in leu of the table (every booth was empty) the hostess said they were all reserved. Noting during our entire dining experience there were empty booths. Felt a little shady. Server was very sweet and great personality but unfortunately was not very fast. Every time she finally came back to the table she was apologizing for taking so long. She had other tables but wasn't in the weeds that we could see (in my youth I worked both as a server and hostess). The homemade bread we were looking forward to wasn't fresh and it was lacking taste as was the dipping oil. Adding salt and pepper helped the oil dip. Even though we were both hungry we didn't eat all the bread. That's a problem. We ordered clams as an appetizer. Again, tasteless needed salt, no flavor otherwise. For dinner, I ordered a seafood trio with Brussel sprouts. My husband ordered a fillet cooked, medium with a baked potato. The crabcake lacked flavor had way too much filling tasted like it came from Cisco. After a second bite, I would not eat anymore. The shrimp was ho hum and the lobster not that great either. My husband's steak was very bland no flavor in the meat even though it was cooked to temperature with a slight char on the outside. Because of the slow service and lack of flavor in the food we just wanted to check and get out of there as quickly as possible. What a bust for over $200.
