I'm not a big donut person, but my friend said to try the breakfast sandwiches I went and gave them a shot! Well, sort of. I got the croissant BLT and a spicy kolache, both of which were pretty good. Next time I'll try the bacon egg and cheese croissant that everyone recommends. Like I said, the locale is very unpretentious, and the staff is very sweet. Definitely come check them out!

First, they tried charging my friend separately for chips with their wrap even though chips are supposed to come with it. Then when I added a smoothie to my meal, they charged me full price for the smoothie instead of applying the meal deal where any smoothie is supposed to be $4.79 with a meal. Unfortunately, the food situation got even worse. When I finally got my food, it tasted strange and had a noticeable bleach-like odor. I politely asked if I could get something different, and they said yes. But after waiting at the counter for 35 minutes with no update, I finally asked what was going on -- and they had completely forgotten about my order. To make matters worse, they made two other orders before remaking mine. When I finally opened the replacement wrap, it looked more like a Taco Bell supreme wrap than anything you'd expect from Tropical Smoothie. Bad service, incorrect charges, long waits, and questionable food quality. Definitely not worth the money or the frustration.

I did notice today that the sign in the window said they had already been opened for three hours now. Went in. Only one there. Looked over the really expensive menu. Didn't see wheat grass on any of the menus. Asked if they have it. The lady said they have wheat grass shots. &4 plus. I said I'll take one. She left for a while. I'm imagining her cutting fresh wheat grass and putting it through the tiny juice extraction machine. Came out and started banging a sealed container to loosen up the sediments and shook it up. I asked her , " Don't you guys press fresh wheat grass?" - she said No. my question is, how can you have a business with that in the name and promote it in many ways, and not give fresh juice ?
