Chocolate Lab is such a fun and unique spot! Two restaurants share the space, each with their own ordering counter on opposite sides of the building, with a common dining area in the middle. It's a casual atmosphere and gives you plenty of options. My family has been here several times, and we always come back for the crepes. They are rich, decadent, - truly a chocolate masterpiece. We've tried the fresh fruit-filled crepes as well as the Nutella and banana option, and every one has been delicious. There are so many tempting choices on the menu that it's hard to decide each visit. They also offer smoothies, teas, shakes, and other sweet treats, making it a great stop whether you want dessert or just something refreshing. Service is quick and friendly with only a little wait for the fresh made crepes. It's only a short drive from Etown , and honestly it's probably a good thing it's not any closer to my home because I'd be there all the time. This place is absolutely a must-try! read more

Omg how have I lived so close to this place but never been?!?! Probably the best cheesecake I've ever had in my life, like it's wayyy better than chzcake factory! The Oreo one was just as good as the strawberry one and the peanut butter chocolate dream cake was legit one of the best cakes I have ever tasted!!! I did buy all this in one day and ate it all over like 3 days lol I also had the choc chip cookie dough choc cake and it was delicious as well! And last but not least I got a small cup of the triple chocolate covered strawberries to eat right then and it was definitely something I will come back soon for!! The food was so interesting! It has so many choices and can be a little overwhelming. The staff were extremely helpful and patient. The ambiance is a little odd due to it being a duo location but the items make it look so wonderland-ish. I took no pictures but i got the Cereal Killer. read more

This sweet shop has amazing selection from ice creams, gelatos, cheesecakes, cookies, Turkish delights and so much more. They stay on business and usually have a small line to order but quick to get orders out. The parking lot is a bit small but it's shared the restaurant. It's the chocolate lab because they are cooking up calorie concoctions that make you wanna pinch somebody I couldn't choose, but I ended up with a bubbly waffle filled with strawberry goodness. The warmth of the waffle mixed with syrup, ice cream, and real strawberries make you feel loved. They know what they're doing too because your order comes out in no time. Overdue review from 25 February 2025 I basically live under a rock, so I did not know the Chocolate Lab recently opened in Radcliff until a co-worker informed me. A few days later, I went in during lunch hour (1155am-ish). Upon entry, my party of two were pleasantly greeted by the black female cashier. Upon entry, I noticed that the facility was opened/expanded from the Fish House & Grill, which shares the same dining room. It was an open and inviting layout. Interestingly - you get your food, then walk right across for deserts. Win/win. Back to the Chocolate Lab - Since it was our first time, the female cashier explained everything to us. She provided a brief synopsis of some of the flavors and the history behind the inspiration for some of the deserts. 10/10 for her. When a dessert looked interesting but we were skeptical about the flavor and whether we would like it, we were offered a sample. She was very patient with us, and was thorough with taking our very chaotic order - seriously, we were all over the menu and our eyes dictated everything we ordered as we salivated over the good looking desserts. We ended up with molten lava cake with birthday sprinkles (no pictures) $8.50, a tropical world cup $8.50, and a single scoop gelato (no picture because it was gone in an instant) $3.75. The fruit was a good balance to justify all the sweets :) There was only one other guests when we visited, but service from the person preparing the order seemed a bit slow. I can't imagine if there was an influx of people. Overall, my first time at Chocolate Lab was a great experience. Chocolate Lab has a variety of desserts that will satisfy whatever your sweet tooth is craving and make it come back for more. For me....a few hours later. It has ice cream, baked goods, made to order, freshly made items, and store bought desserts. I searched on Yelp for a nearby dessert place near Fort Knox and Chocolate Lab popped up. We were visiting our son for Advanced Camp. We were given a limited amount of time on family day to hang out. We ate on base and drove here. For me a meal isn't complete until I satisfy my sweet tooth. It's less than 10 minutes to drive here from the base. Parking: Decent amount of parking. They share the store with Fish House. I love seafood! If we didn't just eat I would have tried it out. Service: Great! We were greeted right away. I had a ton of questions because there were so many options. The staff was patient, helpful, and welcoming. Some items had prices on the menu and other items didn't. I came back that very day. I believe it was the owner and he told us "welcome back.". Inside: Several benches inside. Since they share the store with Fish House it's set up to accommodate guests for that business as well there are ample napkins, condiments on the table. We came in with 6 people and everyone got something different. Everyone liked what they purchased. I liked it so much that I begged my husband to come back a few hours later. After eating at several places in the area I realized it wasn't priced similar. The dessert prices are what I see in my area (California/Hawaii). Discounts: *Military Discount * Sign up for their rewards program- We earned enough points when we first purchased items to use it on our second visit. * If you have Tik Tok you get a discount if you follow them. You know what I like about being a family of 5? Being able to try something different when we go out to eat especially at a dessert place : D The question I usually ask is, "what are you getting?" I get something different and ask to try their item :) Items that we tried: Everyone liked the items we got. * Gelato * Ice Cream * Cotton Candy- prepackaged * Cake Pop * Reeses Chocolate Dream Cake- Not sure if this is made in house. But my husband and I shared this and enjoyed it. It was like a parfait with different layers. Perfect amount of cake, brownie, peanut butter toppings. I wish chocolate lab served coffee it would have made it even better. * Dubai Chocolate Bar- If you purchase this eat it right away. Thankfully I tried a small piece before we walked out with it. My son and I liked. Once we walked out of the store it began to melt. It slightly continued to melt on the drive back to the base with the air condition on. It was hot and humid that day. The walk from the car to the hotel it melted like it didn't want to exist anymore. * Macroons- I got several different flavors. My favorite was the red velvet. * Waffle on a Stick- P.B Paradise. This item is made to order. * Taste Shop- Cookies and Cream Uh, yes, you are counting more than 6 items. I will come out and say it. It was me the sweet tooth who got more than 1 item. If this place was in the state I lived in I would probably visit every week to try something new. If my husband didn't manage my sweet tooth then you would probably would see me here everyday. I came here initially to try the Dubai Chocolate and other popular items, but my boyfriend and I come here often for all sorts of treats now. While the price for the Dubai chocolate is steep for a single bar, it is a delightful and enjoyable chocolate. My boyfriend and I come here for the chocolate from time to time, I would say it's worth it for us personally. I'm not generally a chocolate person, but this one isn't too sweet and it has a nice crunch and nuttiness to it. 5/5 stars We tried a couple of the mini cakes, specifically Tiramisu, Keylime, and Red Velvet. My boyfriend and I tried them and we weren't too terribly impressed by the flavor. Each cake had a subtle, strange flavor that I can't quite describe. They weren't bad, but I don't plan on getting them again. The texture of each was nice and fluffy, and the presentation was neat and cute. I feel the price is nice for the item as well. 3/5 stars I tried a few of the smoothies so far, and plan to continue to return for them. They are $7 each but they are very refreshing and they taste lovely. The Banana Peanut Butter was tasty and I thoroughly enjoyed it. My boyfriend felt there was too strong of a peanut butter flavor, and I agree there could be a bit more banana in the ratio but it could be personal preference. Still delicious! 4/5 stars The Piña Colada Smoothie was so refreshing and delicious. This is one of my go-to flavors, and my boyfriend who usually doesn't like coconut and pineapple really loves this flavor. Always enjoyable, we've gotten it many times now. It's a classic, the ratio of each is balanced in their mix as well! 5/5 stars The Blueberry Pomegranate Smoothie is very creamy and true to its name in flavor. It's not as refreshing as the Piña Colada, but it has its own kind of appeal. The creamy aspect might mute the berries slightly, but as aforementioned it could add to its own style and appeal. It's delicious and almost reminded me of having a milkshake. 4/5 stars The Mango Pineapple Smoothie was good but not for me personally, in the description it did mention some orange juice would be added- which I do enjoy orange juice. It's a good, refreshing, tropical combination- but personally the orange juice (at least in my batch) was a bit overpowering and it made it difficult to taste the other fruits or allow them to stand out. This is still a good option for those who enjoy orange juice and are looking for something similar but elevated. I won't personally order it again since I prefer the Piña Colada to get my "tropical refreshing" sort of drink. 3/5 stars As for the customer service, every encounter I've had has been a pleasant one. The ladies who work the register and take orders are always so polite and approachable! The inside displays for the sweets and treats are always fun to look at, the area is clean, and they have a few areas for seating to eat in as well. Initially I only planned to come once, but I kept coming back to try more fun sweets and continue to get previously enjoyed ones. (The Turkish delight flavors I tried have been lovely so far as well!) Overall, I'd say I love this place. read more

The deserts are delicious. We've been here twice. The Nutella All The Way bubble waffle is so good! Also had the eclair pyramid and the lava cake. They have Dubai Chocolate as well but they were sold out when I got here. But they make it fresh daily. The workers are so nice and helpful. read more
