While shopping around Desert Ridge on a hot day, we decided to stop by Smoothie King for a cold, refreshing smoothie. Each of us chose a different smoothie, and every one of them was delicious. My son ordered the Banana Boat smoothie with vanilla frozen yogurt, protein, bananas, and turbinado. He absolutely loved it. My daughter chose the Pineapple Surf with strawberries, pineapples, kiwi apple juice, protein, and turbinado, which is her favorite go-to smoothie. I ordered the Banana Berry Treat with bananas, strawberries, raspberries, papaya juice, and protein. I was a little concerned that the raspberries might make it too tart, but it was perfectly balanced and tasted great. This is a mom's and pops.... We love those. I do not know the owners and haven't had that much interection with them but I can tell you....this spot been here forever. It's a staple, so they're doing something totally right. I know Jamba juice is the Jamba King..... But the flavors from this drink ks and their product is very very good. Definitely a huge selection to choose from, but by the time you find your perfect smoothie, you might have to spend 50 bucks. The small is about 7 bucks and you can pay $10 for a large size. I think I got the Hulk coffee, which was a tad sweet, but otherwise pretty good. Read menu before you enter. read more

I tried out a large (40 oz) Green Tea Tango smoothie. It cost $10. Their to-go menu is pretty convoluted since it uses abbreviations specific to this place. The smoothie itself tasted more tangy than like green tea. Also important to note that I activated a credit card deal for this place but they creatively got away with not giving me my cash back by marking the payment as "Port of Subs" (since that place is in the same building as this one). And yes, we ended up coming by here for other reasons but for stop by an amazing Vape shop down the way from where we live but Smoothie King, opened right next to this new Vape Shop that the world was raving about, and yes eneded up visiting this place with Raquel Lilly herself from Twitch.tv. Came a little bit before 10 am. They didn't open their doors until 10:10. Manager didn't walk in until a little after 10 am which is odd considering you would think they would have some type of food prep before hand. Saw a few potential customers leave due to the fact that they didn't open on time. Their smoothie on the other hand was still good. read more

This is the worst Smoothie King that I have ever been to. They are incredibly slow and very unfriendly. I was also told that the fo not accept the reward app that every other Smoothie King takes. Worst location I've ever been to. First of all, there was no AC and it took atleast 30 mins for them to make 2 smoothies. Then the lady who rang me up, Maureen, decided to charge me for 2 meal replacements for apple kiwi kale. I explained to her that it's not a meal replacement but she insisted. They don't take the rewards app as well which sucks. After leaving, I called customer service and a different location to verify that the kiwi kale was a meal replacement which they informed me it was NOT. I then called this location to ask them why did they charge me for a meal replacement and the woman on the phone said that the lady who rung me up must have been new and to come back to the store for a refund. I'm not driving 20 mins back to this location for a refund especially when it could've been taken care of at the store. The smoothies were not even smoothies, more like fruit juice that you could drink without a straw. Better off getting a $2 smoothie from McDonald's. read more

This smoothie king should get no stars but you need at least one star to post. Horrible service. The guy at the register didn't know what Herbal Immune Enhancer was when I asked. Waited for 20 minutes for my drink only to find out they had forgotten about my order. They need more staff because this place gets busy due to it being connected to Port of Subs.
