I ordered to coco haze bowls. I was confused about blueberries so asked for double banana. Was told blue berries do not come on the bowl so I said ok then strawberries and banana no extra. They charged 1.98 for extra banana. When I was given the bowls for two kids. One was dumped upside down Nutella stick to lid. No eating that in the car. Also four slices bananas on one five on other Owner said she would call never did. It's not the money it's the whole experience. She could have offered to make the bowl again. atleast read more

Good chain, but the location is horrible for drive thru, it tends to bottleneck & a very long wait even though I used the app to order. This location is not just drive thru, it has a front entrance, so I recommend parking and going inside to get your smoothie instead of waiting a long time as I did if you are ordering using the mobile app. read more

At about 4:15pm on May 4, I stopped at Smoothie King on Schillinger. My 7 yo son had just undergone oral surgery and was hungry. Upon my arrival there were 3 cars in line ahead of me. Nevertheless I had to wait on line for 45 minutes before getting to the window to pick up my order of 2 smoothies. I asked for a spoon for my son instead of a straw. I was told "no" they are for "bowls only". I explained my son just had oral surgery and could not use a straw. I was still told "no". I offered to pay for it. "No" again. I was told "there is no button for that". I also was told I could go "across the street and ask the ice cream shop for a spoon". I told the woman I would have to get out of the car and leave my son in the back seat and I couldn't do that. She just said "sorry" and that I had to purchase a bowl. It is incomprehensible that a plastic spoon would not be provided to a customer (even after I offered to pay for it), whose 7yo son was crying in the back seat, because the same was for "bowls only". The quality of customer service at this location is the worst I have ever experienced. The "person in charge" was rude, dismissive and should be ashamed of her behavior. Does Smoothie King not give their employees any common sense discretion to make exceptions to their rules? Denial of spoons that are wasted is one thing but to deny a child a spoon under extenuating circumstances which were easily verifiable is outrageous and speaks to smoothie kings greed at the expense of the customer. read more

I recently visited this Smoothie King location. The service here SUCKS & always has but I figured I'd give it another try!!! I'm originally from this area; however, I live in California now. I love Smoothie King and really wanted a smoothie before I headed back to yucky Jamba Juice Cali! I was inside the store waiting for 10 minutes at the counter with no acknowledgement that I was even there. I let it go because the drive thru was really backed up. However, 5 more minutes went by when 3 males walked in and were immediately acknowledged. The female employee then proceeded to take their order still ignoring me (because they said they were waiting in the drive thru for 10 minutes and had not ordered yet.) Well that may be true but she could have at least said sorry ma'am let me take these 3 guys order before your one order even though you've been patiently waiting for 15 minutes now with out us even acknowledging you. But, that's not what happened. At this time the employee making the smoothies even told the one taking the orders I had not ordered yet. But she still ignored me talking around me to take the 3 males (standing behind me) orders. So I walked out. So in short the service here sucks big time! I'll just go to the one on University! They are always nice and $1-2 cheaper too!! read more

Every time I go to this smoothie king I always have a bad experience. I feel like I am a bother to the employees when I come to the window. Hiring new people would be a good idea. Unlike the other reviewer, I had decent customer service here. The kid working behind the counter immediately hopped off the refrigerator he was sitting on and stopped texting; what more can you ask for in 2016? Service isn't the primary issue with this chain, however. The idea that this is a "healthy" option is laughable. I recently got a carrot kale smoothie minus the apple juice and with no turbinado (sugar)... and it still tasted like liquid cotton candy. I'm not a health nut and I like to indulge on occasion, but when I go to a place that sells health food, it probably shouldn't be type-2 diabetes in a cup. I took three sips and threw it in the trash. What a waste of $7.50. read more
