I work 12 hour shifts and workout every morning. Typically after I'm done I'm starving and ready for a smoothie with enhancements. I came here two days in a row early in the morning with two different sets of employees. BOTH times everyone took care of me and even though they were super busy stayed calm and were extremely patient and at no point rushed me. It's very clean and they are super organized and definitely work well as a team. I appreciate all the employees of this store and I will continue to come back. I dropped by again this weekend for a cold treat.... Because..... 93-degree weather. I excitedly bounded up to the door of the restaurant, while turning over in my mind what ingredients I might savour this evening. I pulled on the door handle only to be met with resistance. Ok, must be the wrong door. I tried the other, only to be met with resistance again. Did I not pull hard enough? I looked at the hours posted on the door. Ok, yes, looking at my watch, today is Saturday all right, at 8:15pm. The posted hours say they close at 9pm today. What's the deal? I waved to get an employee's attention inside. She waved me around to apparently the drive-through. Ugh. My appointment with the mechanic isn't until Tuesday and not only is my car's A/C blowing hot (not even just warm anymore) air on a 93-degree day but it's also deciding to overheat whenever it idles too long. How is this struggle relevant ? Well, now I've got to make the nerve-wracking decision to either skip Smoothie King today or just literally sweat through a drive-through trip (at least there's wind blowing through my windows and moon roof when I'm cruising down the street or highway but you know how slowly you have to go through a drive-through as well as be at a stand-still for minutes at a time). To make matters worse, choosing to get the smoothie anyway might also overstress my car as it idles during ordering and waiting time. The sacrifices we have to make in life. I went ahead and bit the bullet. One espresso D-Lite Mocha later, I was on my merry way back to the highway to try and catch some winds. The moral of the story: Please post your dining room hours on the door OR keep the dining room open until closing time. It's kind of inconsiderate to your customers to not do so. Drive-through should be by customer's choice/option, not the only option if it's not strictly a drive-through restaurant. 3.75 stars this time (not really 4). read more

I stopped here after my Elite Week at Wing Zone next door. I was looking for more of a sweet treat than a smoothie, I was hoping for like a regular milkshake or something. I've never been here before so I didn't know what to expect. I browse the menu and proceed to order a chocolate protein shake beings I was in a hurry I didn't really look and see what else there was. I was able to get the non member $1to upsize a shake. It still came to $7 and some change. I did wait a few minutes but I got my drink in a reasonable amount of time. The staff there were very pleasant but seemed like they didn't want to be there at the same time. They also played rap music with explicit lyrics inside. I typically don't care about that type of stuff if it's like a bar or club but, I'm sure there would be very unhappy parents with their kids. The shake itself didn't taste much like chocolate but, I could taste banana in there and I'm not sure why since I got just plain chocolate. I was in a hurry and didn't have time to wait for another one to be remade so I just took what I had. This was my first time ever trying smoothie king. I looked online to see their menu, I was looking for a place that served high protein smoothies. I couldn't find where the amount of protein was listed, and so I called the store and a girl answered and told me where to find the nutritional facts on the website. I ended up downloading the app and I preordered a medium activator recovery chocolate smoothie and I added peanut butter. Definitely ask for no dairy and no sugar as somehow smoothies come with other thing's outside of produce now. I always add some added greens. They have a new grain pack that adds a filler so you won't get as hungry after. Not my favorite smoothie joint but it's consistent and can't be mad at the convenience. read more

I never thought i would like any kind of "health" smoothies but they proved me wrong. The inside is always very clean, the drive thru is surprisingly quick, and staff is always very nice. Our family was so excited to try a new treat after we heard good things from friends. We had placed a Mobil order while waiting in a huge line. The line itself was not an issue because we understand it takes time. However once we got to the order window we had stated we have a Mobil order. Once we got to the pick up window we were told to park in a parking spot. After another long wait and watching not one but three cars that were behind us leave with their orders when we finally got ours. All this time and to top it off our order was incorrect!! I was in the drive through and I felt very rushed. I asked for time to read the menu since it was my first time here and right away the person started speaking to me, not allowing me time to fully read the menu. I felt very pressured into ordering even though I was not ready to order. I felt like I had to order something right away as they were rushing me. When we got to the window, the person taking pay was on their phone. The service was fast only because they were rushing me. Highly disappointed with my first experience. I've been to this location approximately 8 -10 times since the Smoothie King at this location opened. Here's what I encountered: 1.) On one occasion when I wanted super grains added as an enhancer, it was clear to me that they forgot to blend them in and merely added the super grains afterwards. 2.) on another occasion they made the wrong vegan smoothie. 3.) on two other occasions I ordered curbside via online but when I arrived, no one came out to bring the smoothie and I had to go inside to pick it up. Normally I would just call but in each of these instances, I couldn't call because there were issues with the phone - not my phone, the phone at the Smoothie King kept disconnecting. 4.) went through the drive through this time but could scan to get my points - was told "the scanner is still down". For the above reasons, I had to leave a three star rating - not because of the smoothies, because they were delicious; but for the quality of service. I love that there's now a Smoothie King on Dixie so hope the issues can be resolved. read more
