I go to this SK all the time that I, as a consistent Yelp reviewer, haven't even made a post about it. I'm so shamed of myself because I literally have consistently visited this SK since it opened (maybe about 7 years ago give or take) and let me tell you, I've NEVER had issues with this location. I read other locations in the city with horrible based off their reviews on here (like the Potranco location) and i can honestly say as a dedicated SK lover, each time i walk in, they greet me and i speak back. When i have to order on the app and it tells me 10-15 minutes my smoothie will be ready, it's ALWAYS ready early or on time. The atmosphere is light when you walk inside the store. The taste of my smoothie is always right to the T. I remember before it was built, i kept driving around the area saying "we seriously need a SK in this area because whyyyyy isn't there one!????" Before they built this Pat Booker location, i used to have to drive out 20 mins to the 1604 & Bulverde location and it was such a chore. So, this location holds a special place in my heart since i spoke it into existence. A 5-10 minute drive is so much better and the way my family knows I'll be more than happy with a gift card to SK, makes my heart jump for joy. I know the workers there know my order or name by now because i usually get the same thing. If it's not a Gladiator - Strawberry smoothie, I'll get: Vegan Mango Kale, Nutty Super Grain or a Slim and Trim. I'm craving SK as i type this. Thanks to all the workers that work at this location. Quick service. Great tasting smoothie. I wish the menu would account for a non workout, regular guy who just wants a delicious smoothie on a hot day. I understand it's next to Golds gym and most traffic is from post work out peeps, but looking at the menu trying to figure out what I can drink was a bit confusing. My smoothie was on point today. It doesn't get better than a 32 oz high calorie smoothie on days where you need to rest and repair those muscle fiber tears! Great smoothie king location. They are always efficient and super polite! As far as recommendations I'd go for the vanilla or chocolate slim and trim, green tea tango, vegan dark chocolate banana or strawberry hulk! They have smoothies for all walks of life including those losing weight, working out and needing some protein and just general overall well being. I love this place and come almost daily. read more

I love this smoothie king because it's right by my gym, but sometimes it's inconsistent. I love the strawberry lean 1 but only when certain people make the smoothie. Especially if I'm spending 9.00 for a smoothie. People are so sweet and welcoming, but sometimes my smoothie taste like nothing but ice. I don't want to be that person who complains. I've always been satisfied when I come to this smoothie king!! Their staff is so friendly and they definitely know what they're doing. It's always been a pretty quick in and out for me but I also don't come during their peak times so I'm not sure how it is when they're super busy. Really love how they offer the military discounts. Me and my boyfriend have been going to the smoothie king on bulverde for a long time.as of the past couple of months we stopped going as often cause they didn't taste as good and we thought it was just us getting tired of it. Today 2-21-20 @9:00 we came to this location and got all 3 of our smoothies so fast and they were amazing. Way better then the ones at bulverde.
