We enjoyed looking through the used bookstore, but we wish we had more time! It was quite an extensive collection! I like coming here b/c they stock hard-to-find items (such as 1mg dose and liquid form of melatonin) and the staff actually knows their stuff. From speaking to an employee at the Mooresville GNC I learned they typically only know as much as is shared w/them via corporate fact sheet. They usually are not able to answer my questions and it seems most of that store is dedicated to weightloss. The staff at Health Nutz clearly live the lifestyle, are well educated and very helpful. Everytime I visit I find what I need and then some. Today I discovered they even have an item called 'Horny Goat'...I'm sure you can guess what that is for. Kudos to them for also stocking organic, holistic items to help keep my little gremmies healthy.

It is located in the same plaza as Vicious Biscuit, Michael's, and Chili's. There's usually plenty of parking by the store, as most customers are in the plaza for the other businesses. The shop offers a variety of items and brands for health and wellness products. Some of the items like the manuka honey have little signs to explain the benefits and properties of the item. All of the aisles and sections are labeled clearly so you can find what you're looking for. For the elderberry syrup, we have to ask for it at the counter where you checkout. We were helped by one lady who was enthusiastic with all of the customers and seemed to be knowledgeable about the items there. They have a reward program there where if you spend a certain amount, you can earn a $5 reward on your next purchase. Additionally, if you're a senior citizen, there is a discount as well.

I don't know if this woman was really a manager or not, but she was certainly not the epitome of health and was rude when asked about certain products. She needs to rethink working with the public and the owner needs to rethink having her as an employee. I absolutely do NOT recommend this store at all.
