A Better Way

A Better Way is a holistic health and wellness center that has been serving the community since…read more2005. Founded by Dr. Mary Sabal, the center aims to provide a better way to wellness by offering a variety of health services, products, and resources. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and relaxing, reflecting the center's commitment to promoting overall well-being and balance. With a dedicated team of professionals they offer a range of services, including chiropractic care, nutritional counseling, massage therapy, and more. In addition to health services, A Better Way also features a well-stocked health food store, offering a variety of organic, non-GMO, and locally sourced products. Customers can browse through an array of supplements, vitamins, herbal remedies, essential oils, and natural skincare products. I get my Omega 3, and K2+D3 here as well an amazing skin product called "Miracle Lotion" that is really amazing. I originally discovered these fine folks when I was looking for a raw diet food for my kitty, Miss Princess, and they have helped me by ordering and keeping the perfect food for her.  With my 50+ year experience in nutrition and supplementation and medical background, plus my honey being a Naturopathic Doctor we have agreed this place is a great place for people to start the journey to empower themselves to achieve optimal health and live life to the fullest. I'd like to focus on their founder, Dr. Mary Sabal,  who is a dedicated healthcare professional with a strong passion for holistic health. As a Doctor of Chiropractic and a Registered Nurse, she  possesses a wealth of knowledge and experience in the healthcare field. Her unique background allows her to approach patient care from a multidisciplinary perspective, addressing various aspects of health, including nutrition, physical activity, and emotional well-being. These services include chiropractic care, nutritional counseling, massage therapy, and a variety of wellness workshops. Additionally, the center is a health food store, with an excellent selection of healthy foods for pets, providing access to high-quality supplements and organic products to support a healthy lifestyle. Dr. Sabal is committed to empowering her patients with the knowledge and tools they need to take charge of their health. Her warm, compassionate approach creates a welcoming environment where patients feel supported and motivated to make lasting changes. Through her work at A Better Way, Dr. Mary Sabal is making a positive impact on our community and beyond. Bottom line: Dr. Sabal has created a sanctuary where individuals can find natural ways to improve their well-being and overcome health challenges. Highly recommended!!!  7857 State Highway 59, Foley, AL (251) 955-5322 Hours:  Monday-Tuesday, Thursday-Friday:  10am - 5:30pm Wednesday: Closed Saturday: 10am - 3pm Sunday: Closed To stay updated on the latest events, workshops, and promotions, visit the A Better Way website at: https://www.abetterwayhealth.net  Follow their Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/abetterwayhealth

Once I located what I was looking for and went to the counter he asks for my phone number, ok that's fine. He proceeds to ask for my email address, and I politely let him know I do not want GNC's emails that I already receive them. This irritates him, and starts giving me the 3rd degree about how I receive GNC emails if I do not have an account. By the way I do receive GNC emails. After getting harassed for a minute I tell the employee, never mind proceed to walk out. I turn around and let him know he needs to work on his customer service skills. He responds with a few more smart ass comments and I ask for his manager's name, which he replies he is the manager. I ask again who his manager is, knowing full well there is someone above him, he says he is the manager and his name is Gary. I ask one more time and I get the same snide remark. At this point I say that's fine, I will find out who it is and left. This is the third time I've been in a GNC, and this is how the experience has gone all three times. If this is how GNC's operate, I will never step foot in one again, no matter if they are the only "local" way I can pick something up. GNC should be ashamed of how their employees treat customers, and this is not how customer experience is supposed to work.
