I originally discovered these fine folks when I was looking for a raw diet food for my kitty, Miss Princess, and they have helped me by ordering and keeping the perfect food for her.  With my 50+ year experience in nutrition and supplementation and medical background, plus my honey being a Naturopathic Doctor we have agreed this place is a great place for people to start the journey to empower themselves to achieve optimal health and live life to the fullest. This was a horrible, almost traumatizing experience. Keep in mind, this is my very first colon cleanse. I had no idea what to expect. When I arrived on time, I wanted to buy my son some water before we started. The older lady said to me, "You're wasting time. You can do that later. I'd really like to just get started." I'm like wow, ok. Had I been in town, I would have left then. But I drove an hour for the appointment, so I moved on. Once in the room, she told me to undress and walked out. She didn't introduce herself; she didn't tell me what to expect; I mean nothing. She came back in the room and asked me to turn to my side. WITH NO WARNING, she inserted a tube into my anus. I said "Oh my God! You didn't even warn me!" No response. She then tells me to scoot to the end of the table; I'm still in shock. She quickly connects the tube to something- I can't really see what she's doing, tells me to "hold it for three seconds and then let go or you'll get cramps," and WALKS OUT. I'm just in complete disbelief. She didn't explain the procedure or what was about to happen at all. She just LEFT. Warm water cranks out. I was about to tell my son to go get her, when she walks back in with a bucket of HOT coffee. I say "ma'am, what is that for? What does it do?" She says "well it's good for energy," pours it in the machine, and WALKS OUT. The entire experience, I am confused, alarmed, and scared, but I could not move or get up because "the process" was still...taking its course. When it was over, I asked for a drink with electrolytes. She looked, and all she had was coconut water. I got in my car, took a sip, and checked the bottle. It was EXPIRED. I'm not really sure what this lady's problem is, but her bedside manner is HORRIBLE. With it being such an invasive procedure, ESPECIALLY, with a first timer, this business should not provide this service, unless they can find a more compassionate, friendly person. I'm not sure if there is anyone else that works there, but this lady should definitely not be providing this service. BEWARE. I wonder if she treats all customers this way, or just minorities. Came for the colonics. I think this review would be reported if I went into the details of the experience but it went as good as you can expect this kind of thing to go. There's a $25 co-pay upon booking an appointment which is only charged if you don't show up. I think it was $60 for the service but I'm not sure. You can expect it to take up to an hour. There is only one table so only one person can go at a time. Laurie was professional, efficient and easy to schedule with. It's not the most glamorous establishment but it got the job done and it's well-stocked with natural health supplements. read more
