I am allergic to strawberry I have been all my life, I can not even touch them without breaking out in hives. So when I look for smoothies I usually get watermelon or banana. So when I seen the advertisement for a watermelon smoothie at Smoothie King my husband and I went to get me one. I got watermelon and he got banana. I took a little sip as I always do in case , and immediately noticed a strange taste, my husband tasted it and said it was strawberry. I looked online at the menu and sure enough it had strawberry listed as the main ingredient. My complaint is if you advertise a watermelon smoothie it should not have any other fruit in it. So check what you order from them because if you have any food allergies it might be in their smoothies, most of the pink/red smoothies on their menu have strawberry in it. I will never go back. I could have wound up in the hospital had my husband not been there to taste it. read more

My first visit ever was just a few nights ago after looking at reviews, I downloaded the their app since I read that they give rewards for purchases over time. So me and my husband picked out our smoothie from the menu on the app, which was so helpful since it gives all the details of what's in your smoothie. Before we left the house I decided on the 20 oz Island Impact which comes with pineapples, mango sorbet, pineapple mango juice blend, papaya juice blend, and protein. My husband decided on the 32 oz Vegan Mango Kale which comes with bananas, mango, pineapple mango juice blend, apple juice, kale, almonds, and pant based protein. We decided on drive through since it was a cold night and there was no line and we ordered our drinks and the guy taking our ordered sounded so nice and seemed like he actually likes his job, which is so refreshing. The pricing was fair and well worth the money we spent. My smoothie was delicious and my husbands was real good to. But I liked mine so much I'll prob end up getting it again soon. Overall this place has some amazing smoothies and the calories aren't crazy high. Cannot wait for my next visit. read more

This review should have happened at least two smoothies ago but I've been busy. This is the worst smoothie king location. They mess up orders and service is awkward, clumsy and downright awful. If you must go then be sure to go through the drive thru otherwise you'll wait for your smoothie for fifteen minutes inside before they even ring up your smoothie, meanwhile four cars will be served at the driveway. smoothie king - is this a business or a day care intended for work experience? the two teens business model you have here is awful and ineffective. To drive my point, I asked for a chocolate banana gladiator and she gave me vanilla strawberry??? By then I didn't even bother to correct her because I didn't have time to wait another fifteen minutes. Also - while I was sitting there I had plenty of time to overhear these kids talk about how the previous kids on shift didn't stock any fruit despite it being dead. Normally I wouldn't say anything and I'd just find another location as I have before but this morning iced the cake for me with this location. Attempted to avoid the long wait at the drive thru window I ordered ahead so i could pick up and go. 20 minutes lead time should be enough time I told myself. Haha. I get there and they tell me sorry we don't have your order, nothing came through. I showed the worker my mobile order and she asked if I have proof any other proof I placed the order. I laughed and proceeded to open my banking app and boom here ya go sweetheart. She said well we don't have anything are you sure it went thru. WTF. OKAY, I called my bank and put it on speaker phone the bank rep said it loud and clear. Yes the charge is showing on our end. So one would think she would say okay my apologies let me see what I can do. You know provide good customer service, NOOOOPE. She goes in the back and stays there for another 15 minutes comes back and tells me well you should wait a couple days because our IT department isn't showing anything. I laugh said okay and left. 30 mins later I get a call from a smoothie king in Keller, TX and they ask if I'm coming to pick up my order. Hahahahhaha. I've had problems the other two times I've visited but thought I'd try one more time. Tonight I opted for two smalls. Get to the windows to pay and one of them is a medium. I proceed to tell him I ordered two smalls and he said "I heard medium." Didn't offer to fix the problem. I ordered smalls because I have small children that will be drinking it. They don't need a large cup. Instead of giving me a cup to split the large for my children, he proceeds to charge me again for two cups ($1.08). When I questioned it he said there wasn't a manager to help him figure it out so he had to charge me. This was after waiting 7 minutes for my smoothies. Also, for that medium on $5 Friday I was charged $6. Why? I'm not sure. Needless to say I won't be back. read more

Went back to this Smoothie King today. Ordered two smoothies and the total was $15.13. I had $15.03 with me and said I'd swing by on my way back from picking up my son and drop the 10 cents. They had already made the smoothies. And they refused. Asked the dude what he was going to do with them and they said throw them out. Whoever runs this place is a full on idiot and trains people to not make sensible decisions. Well, I found the place on my own. I paid $8.62 for a medium and asked for a cup of water. They refused. I find off putting. They said they only sell water. I don't know about Texas but in Arizona if you ask for water it's illegal to refuse. I read the other reviews. I am disappointed. read more

I went in yesterday and the girl on the drive thru was so bothered that I said I had another item to order not just one drink it was literally " What ! IS THAT ALL! UHH OK " I had to laugh becasue I could tell it was a young girl working the drive thru ordering. On 3/15/18 I ordered in drive-thru a Hulk (NO Bananas) paid for the smoothie it's has bananas in it (which I'm allergic).Took the smoothie back inside the manager on duty rinse the same cup with water & tries to place my new drink inside. I literally beggge the young lady to give me another cup. She says are you allergic slams cups and tells me that's what I should of said. Hi - Smoothie King Flower Mound emailed me a coupon. I went in with my phone and pulled up a coupon and they said they don't take coupons on phones. I made the bar code very big so she could scan it, but again I was told they don't take the coupon on the phone. No where on the coupon does it say it must be printed.
