Stopped by to get a protein shake. It was pretty empty and I didn't have to wait in line at all. Small space but very clean, and some minimal indoor and outdoor seating. Parking is pretty easy too. Loved the wide selection of grab-and-go drinks and snacks on the back walls. I decided to get a cold brew protein shake, which only took a few minutes to make! It was great, not to sweet!! Pretty big size too! The employee who helped me was also nice and answered my questions! Very patient! read more

Horrible customer service. Lady with the bleached hair had a bad attitude and was extremely rude and impatient. The orders also took super long. It's clear she didn't want to work there. I love Smoothie King, but never going back to this location. Train your staff to be efficient, well-mannered and kind. Thanks. Edit: The way they packaged this was crazy - she didn't even close the lid correctly. The smoothie spilled over. Absolutely unacceptable. read more

I want to start this review off by mentioned that I'm from Los Angeles so we kind of have our own smoothie ego when it comes to trying new ones, especially out of state. There's so many competitors in Los Angeles that all state they're the best and offer the best ingredients. I had been wanting to try smoothie king because my friends who live in all these midwestern states claim it's top tier. My first impressions were pretty good, this location is really clean and well maintained, I thought it was a new build out! Turns out they've been here for years. The staff welcomed me in and they weren't busy so they helped me decide what drink I could get and showed me that I can fully customize it and add delicious enhancements like vitamins and collagen to my smoothie. I waited for about 5 minutes, probably less, and I got my 32oz smoothie. Which I need to mention is HUGE and it was only $10. Something this big and this healthy in LA would be $15 and probably more. This smoothie is so delicious! I definitely wish we had smoothie king back in California! Hopefully they'll expand towards the west coast! read more

Grabbed my normal lemon ginger spinach, and it was by far the runniest smoothie I've ever had. Can totally tell that the lady that made it didn't care at all. This is the very reason I don't tip anymore until AFTER my smoothie is made...disappointed. read more

I've been to numerous smoothie kings but this is my first time going to this one. While the smoothie came out good, like normal the service was very slow. I went through the drive thru and waited 5+ minutes after my initial greeting to have my order taken. Mind you it wasn't busy and was after lunch hour. Outside of that everything else went smoothly, but i definitely almost left multiple times had it not been for someone behind me in the drive thru i would have. read more

I was happy to see a Smoothie King near the place I was staying because you get what you pay for and it's a lot of smoothie for a price you can't beat. I think it's worth my money compared to the other smoothie branch. I ordered the Immune Builder Mixed Berry and it was really tasty. It tasted fresh and it was not overloading in sweetness. I can see how this can be a meal replacement. We came at like 4:30 so there wasn't a line. Staff was friendly and the service was quick. I got my order and left. read more

It's obvious they don't read their reviews. I've already submitted two forms on the feedback website. Their response is to submit a form through their feedback website. I ordered a smoothie bowl through the app at 8:20 pm a month ago. I arrived at the store and there was a lady at the door that stated their systems were down. I showed I ordered the bowl through the app, and asked if she could make my bowl. She then stated that they didn't get their truck today. I asked for a refund and she said she would have to do it in the morning. Of course, I was never refunded. I've called the store 10+ times and no one answered. I emailed the email address in the app and haven't heard back. I even went back to the store and asked for a manager and they said they were gone. I left my name and number and waited a week for them to call back. I called the store again and also emailed them again. I still have been contacted or refunded. I have already submitted two smoothiekingfeedback.com reports. No response. The amount of time I've spent on this is really not necessary. This should have been a very simple fix, a refund of the product I didn't receive. read more

I understand you hate your job but please just find somewhere else so you can give better customer service. Very poor customer service on a Friday. Attitude was like he didn't want to be there or super annoyed. Whatever the case , not the way I wanted to start my day with your negative energy. Asked questions regarding five dollar Friday and the tone was just flat and annoyed then messed up my order . Initially tried to run off with my receipt until I asked for it then saw that I was charged for an extra smoothie . Please change your staff or you will lose business and get more negative reviews . read more

This smoothie king never disappoints, I have had issues with other smoothie kings forgetting ingredients, this location does not have that problem. It's about what you can ask out of a smoothie king, the service is fine, the smoothies come out well. read more

I'm currently in line- have been for 27 minutes. There was 6 cars in front of me when I got here. Every time I come here, it takes a crazy amount of time to get my smoothie. Hire more staff or replace your existing because this is insane. I've started going to a different location even though it's out of the way. I came today because I thought maybe it would be different. Nope. Now 30 minutes and still waiting. Get it together. Update- see pic - full of trash. read more

I love smoothie king so much, but honestly, every time I come to this location I have hopes that the service will improve, but unfortunately it still hasn't gotten better. The workers here don't sound enthusiastic at all when you drive up to the drive-thru. It feels like I'm a burden or they must really hate their jobs. I just left the drive thru window and the lady just gave me my drink and didn't even say a word to me. Not even "have a good day" or "enjoy"... nothing! Also, the last time I came, they didn't have any bananas, and the time before that, it took a very long time to get my order. I hope management sees this review and actually takes action to improve the service for such an awesome franchise. This place could do better when it comes to customer service. read more

Just called in for a pick up order and the employee was the worst energy person I've ever talked to on the phone. He genuinely sounded like he HATED this job. No emotion, super shitty communication and made me feel like I was annoying him. Definitely annoyed me that he acted like that. Just get a new job that you actually enjoy maybe??? I love smoothie king and I never say this but this kid should not be working here... I've seen so many other horrible reviews on this location and let me tell you, they aren't exaggerating. It's draining talking to someone when they have 0 excitement or any happiness at all to be here. Sad. Mind you- it was only this one person, didn't catch his name but he was the taller guy working the drive through. When I went in to pick up my order the other two employees were super sweet and good conversationalists, so that made me feel a bit better lol. I asked the girl to repeat my order because I was afraid he might've missed something and she had no problem and was just super nice. AND the smoothie was great, like always (the other nice guy employee made it so thank god for that lol) read more

Horrible service. Took 13 minutes in the drive thru to get my smoothies. The cash register broke

by far the worst location and service track record I've ever experienced. work 12 hour days nearby and usually arrive between 715 and 730 just to be told "sorry, our systems down" and are very obviously just trying to close early. When they are open, my order is correct maybe 25% of the time. Whoever is responsible for this location has some serious work to do. read more

** Horrible Customer Service** Try a new location!! I came to leave a review on this place as it's been honestly the worst experiences I have had several times. Not surprised they have two stars! But I honestly wouldn't even give them that. This last experience was the last draw from this location. I waited in the drive thru for over 20 minutes and that wasn't the worst part. We pull up to the drive thru to order a smoothie and the girl doesn't answer or anything and I said hello like 5 times and then said is someone going to take my order. She rudely responded back with can you hold on there is only two of us and we have back to back orders. I then waited for about 5 minutes and to my surprise a car pulls up in the drive thru next to me and they take their Order. I then try to get her attention and she yells at me to go ahead and place my order. I order my drink and pull up to window and she come to window and sticks her finger out at and proceeds to apologize! I give her my card, ask for a receipt because clearly I don't trust her and she doesn't even do that. I then ask the other girl who brings me my drink for my receipt. All in all bad experiences everywhere. I wish they would hire customer service oriented people and not people who look like they just got out of prison and actually have enough brain capacity to provide good customer service. Do better Smoothie King! read more

The guy who worked the drive thru Maurice had an attitude, rude, confrontational. Not only was I calm but I was respectful & he also kept asking questions to get a rise out of me & cut me off. I wouldn't recommend this place for no one who cares for quality customer service. By the way he also messed up my order & never took full accountability. Update: My second smoothie was Horrible!!! I don't normally do reviews but I'm highly dissatisfied!! All I wanted was a smoothie... read more

Who doesn't like smoothies. There's tons of choices. Also, they are doing cleaner blending in 2018, which means no added sugar and more whole vegetables and fruits. "High fructose, corn syrup, trans fat and gluten are out." The staff is always friendly. They have some type of rewards program in which I have been meaning to sign up for. Some say pour me up a shot of jack, I say pour me up a banana berry treat -extra berry and make that baby thickk. Smoothies are the elixir of life. The beauty of blended fruit, yogurt and milk is unparalleled and smoothie king has truly mastered this art. I got the banana berry treat and it was amazing. Every sip was heavenly. Sweet but not to sweet and I could taste every fruit advertised to be inside it. In no way is this an all natural smoothie or even a healthy one but you will enjoy it as a treat. My strongest recommendation is to always ask to make your smoothie 'thick.' Despite how weird it sounds, the flavor is better/more concentrated , the consistency makes it more filling, and you get to enjoy it for longer instead of slurping it up like juice. The smoothies are expensive. $6 for a small. Its not a meal replacement and I wasn't full so not the strongest bang for your buck but regardless 5 stars for a great drink. Drinks: 5/5 Bang:Buck ratio: 3.5/5 read more

Do I have to give stars???! I placed my order through the app. I work right down the street on Inwood Rd. I got there 2mins before my order would be ready, pulled in drive-thru,employee says "Are you p/u online order"? Me: yes ma'am and gave her my name........DEAD SILENCE.... SO I drove around, there was only 1 car at the window. I pulled up to the window the employee was I guess taking someone else order she proceeds to ignore me then she finally slides the window opened really hardstill doesn't say anything to me, walks off, comes back type on screen, then finally asks me what is my order, gave her the info she proceeded to go an finish my order I saw sitting in the blender MELTING.........PISS POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE....... Let me first off by saying, I was very disappointed with my service here. I ordered a 20oz Peanut Power Plus with energy and I proceeded to the window. I got to the window and she says "$9.41" and I said, I ordered the 20oz not 32oz. I said, okay, never mind, then I said can I scan my phone for my points and she says, we do that when you place the order. I was pissed by this point. I couldn't get my points and my order was wrong. I got my drink and drove off. Let's just say, I will start going to Tropical Cafe or Smoothie Factory from now on. read more

I will no longer come to this location. I will gladly drive the extra 10 min to the next smoothie king. I live 2 min from this location and sure wished the convenience matched the service. Sitting in the drive thru for a ridiculous amounts of time is absurd. Not to mention you wait forever for someone to even come on the intercom to take your order. I managed to get out of the drive thru line to get my order inside. I did an online order and of course my order wasn't ready at the time it said it would be. I actually got to the location 5 min after it was suppose to be ready. You walk in and no one speaks. Literally stood there for about 5 min before someone could even greet me.
