Wow! I walked into Smoothie King not knowing what I wanted. When I entered the store, a tall gentleman named Will, greeted me with a smile and asked what he could get started for me. I told him I wasn't certain what I wanted and asked for his recommendation. He asked me what kind of fruits I like to eat and based on that; he recommended the angel food cake smoothie. The service was spectacular, so I increased my order to a 40 oz. Will recommended I get an enhancer for energy so I asked him to throw that in there. What a fantastic experience. I watched them make my coffee high protein and they couldn't get the consistency right so they kept adding ingredients at random until I ended up with the largest size which would've been great but it didn't taste anything like it usually tastes so i tossed it out. We love to get smoothies after my daughters cheer practice as it is right down the street. The only complaint is that the turnover seems to be high as we go there a lot and rarely see the same faces...making the quality of the smoothie's not as good sometimes since the person making it is new and not fully trained. We get the same smoothie every time so we know the way it should taste and when we went yesterday the young man who made it for us did it way wrong...to watery(chunks of ice) but they were so busy I didn't want to wait again to have a new one made. My advise is make sure the servers are very skilled in smoothie making before letting them serve customers. read more

I typically love this location. I've never had any issues until tonight actually. An extremely rude employee refused to bring my order to the curbside, when I ordered via curbside (!!) through the app. She stated that it was a new covid policy.... but, I've ordered curbside about 10 times in the past 2 months & never had anyone else tell me about this supposed policy. Also- most businesses do curbside specifically because of covid. Those who have been to this location will know the distance between the smoothie counter and the curbside pick up spot is close to nothing. So I walked in to pick up my order, as I had no way of canceling it from my car apparently, and despite the store being dead, my smoothie hadn't even been made. Yes, the same employee, Allie, I believe, was also rude to me inside as well. This encounter happened 12/28/2020 around 6:30, just fyi if you are the manager and know who was blonde working that shift. I'm not sure what the point of ordering curbside is, if you cannot pick it up from the curbside. Also, why has no one told me (a frequent customer) this before. Needless to say, her customer service was so terrible that I never want to order from this location again. And there actually are a few really nice employees here, but that girl totally ruined it for me. The employee helping me was fine but another employee came in while I was ordering. She was still in street clothes and walked behind the counter, and began making herself a drink without washing her hands. Her hair was also really long and was not pulled back so when she would bend down to scoop ice her hair was all over the lid of the machine. I kindly let her know she should wash her hands and put her hair up before she started making a drink, to which she replied "oh it's just my drink". I told her that her hands were touching the handles of everything and her hair was touching the ice. I told her they could fail a health inspection over that, and she just said okay thanks, without apologizing. She then left the restaurant in a Jeep so she wasn't even working, just came in to grab a drink. None of the formulas or ingredients on the counter were covered with a lid when I walked in. The smoothies are good if they're open more than once now the stores not open when it's supposed to be - very disappointing. If you go there early in the morning they only have one person working and one person can only do so much which means that it takes forever to get your smoothie. I only stop here when I need to but I am never thrilled with this location. The staff seems to change all the time so you never really get the same taste as with other locations. The place is barely clean, but acceptable. Today, I made the stop and was not happy at all. Three teens were in the back when I walked in to the store and I waited for about a little bit before they came out eating their lunch. They had their Moes lunch in tow and was chowing down at the counter. I placed the same order I make everyday except today I was told that they could not make that one the way I wanted it....Not sure why. I told them that I order it every day so they made it but it was not good at all. Also, today was $5.00 Monday, not realizing it when I ordered, I ordered a small which I could've had a medium for the same price. It would have been nice to have been informed.
